One Happy Goat and One Not So Happy Goat

It is STILL snowing.
Harumph!
And the publicist tells me that it is going to snow AGAIN tonight and we are getting something called an "Arctic blast" and the temperatures are going down to below zero.

BRRRRRRRR!

You will recall that I was looking for Spring yesterday.
I do not think that I am going to find it anytime soon.
My studmuffin, on the other hoof does not seem as annoyed as I seem to be.
Perhaps it is because he is not an old goat.

I do not think this weather is worth doing the goat dance of joy but I am not a buck.
THIS is my opinion

In case you could not see my opinion here is a close up

ps: The publicist feels the same way!

Perhaps I will use it as my new headshot. Perhaps not. I don't think the publicist would like that. But it is my opinion and I'm standing by it.
Who is pfffftttting with me?

Brewster and Luke the Goats

Brewster and Luke are getting along just fine now.
Most of the time they well, just ignore each other which is probably good.
It is better than try to kill each other.
Right?

The publicist is still having some erm, challenges with her video camera but she does have this short video to show you today. It stars a bit of Brewster and a lot of my studmuffin.

I like to think he was doing his goat dance of joy because he was going to see me.
It had nothing to do with the grain the publicist was about to give him.
Nothing at all.

Kringle Discovers the Water Bucket

Today I show you the very first video of little Kringle.
In it he discovers the water bucket.
Exciting stuff, huh?

Just look at that tail wagging!
Kids are cute, no denying that.
No matter what they are doing.

Not So Happy Goats

I have a secret.
It's a big secret.
The male person has been away.
He went on a trip.

To a place called Vermont.
He's been gone for a week.
This is why the publicist has not had her camera.

He will be home today and that makes me and the other goats very happy.
What makes us not happy is this:

Did you see that?
It snowed yesterday!
We do not like snow.
As I have said many a time I am an African goat. I and the others like it warm.
This snow stuff is ridiculous.

The male person is upset he missed the snow.
Well, he can have it - it should have snowed in that place called Vermont.

Did you hear my studmuffin calling for me?
He is so sweet - even if he did dance the rhumba with Abby yesterday.
Harumph!

To the Barn!

The male person has borrowed the publicist's camera so I have another video for you!
This is what the publicist sees (and hears - oh her poor ears!) when it is time to take us to the barn in the afternoon.

I guess there are some noisy goats on this Farm.
I am not one of them.
I am a dainty goat.

Brewster is Not to be OutMaaaaed

Little Brewster decided that is Marion was going to MAAAAA!
He was going to MAAAA!

Not only maaaa but maaa for his Ma.
heh

Little Brewster is getting bigger and will soon be moving into the buck pen with Luke so the publicist has given him his own pen in the barn. He does not like to be separated from his Nanny at night.

Not at all.
He maaaas and maaaas and maaaas some more.
Loudly.

When he comes down to the pen in the morning he maaas even more.
Here is a video so you can hear him.

Isn't he loud?
You can also see (if you looked closely) that he was flemming. This is one of the signs that he is growing up to be a big buck and has to move or we does might be in for a surprise in 5 months.

We don't want that do we?

A Lost Video!

I have unearthed a lost video!
A video from when Brewster was just a tiny kid.
I thought you might enjoy it.

Wasn't he just adorable?
He has now learned how to exit the goat pen correctly.

CORN!

The corn harvest is starting to come it!
That is exciting news for us goats.
Very exciting news.

Because we get the corn husks.
Mmmm, corn husks.'
Have I mentioned that this is my favorite time of year?

The publicist took a video of us enjoying our corn husks.
You will see that I looked a little reticent in this video but I was only acting.
I WANTED the publicist to hand feed me.
I am a special goat so I deserve special treatment.
Don't you agree?

I hope you enjoyed this video of all of us enjoying our corn husks.
Don't worry about my studmuffin. He got some corn husks too.
The publicist is just not adept at editing her videos.

Did you hear the wind blowing?
It was quite chilly yesterday. Not at all like August should be.

ANOTHER Video!

The publicist has told me to show you another video.
I am not happy about this.
You are going to think I am a lazy goat.

It is all the publicist's fault. She is busy so I cannot have much time at the computer.
She is mumbling things about processing snow peas, beans, zucchini, beets and broccoli.
Making cheese, ice cream, caramel and zucchini bread.
(I cannot repeat the things she says about the zucchini!)

So she is busy and I cannot blog like I want to.
I am sorry.

I told her that we goats could solve ALL her problems.
That's right!
Just give US all the vegetables and we will take care of them for her.

She did not appreciate this suggestion.
So I give you a video of little Marion grazing.
I am sorry.

Tomorrow is AbbyDay.
Anything can happen.....

We did get some brussels sprouts leaves so the day was not a total loss.
I think you will get to read about that on Saturday.

Monday Movies with The Happy Goats

Yes, it is true!
It is time for another movie!

This one shows some goats behaving badly!
That is right!
They are hopping and jumping in the hay pile
and EATING the hay!

Could you believe it?!
But it is hard to get mad a little Marion. She is too cute!

Be sure to tune in tomorrow when I will announce the winner of the Kahve Koffee bean giveaway!

More Fun in the Wood Pile

You will recall that the male person bought us a pile of wood of play in.
Well, he piled that wood up!
I don't know why he did that. Silly male person.
It makes it harder for us to eat it.

It didn't stop Matthew and Timmy though....

Matthew is a baaaaad boy!

Marion the Goat Debuts as a Movie Star

It had to to happen.
After all, we haven't had a Movie Day around here in a while.

Mallory had little Marion out for a bit and the publicist was taking some video. You can see how protective a nanny Mallory is  - she is even a bit of a stage nanny!

I am sure that Marion is destined to be a star!
She is a natural on camera.
Mallory just wanted to eat the camera.....

TUESDAY (?) Movies with the Happy Goats

Having the little goats around is confusing everyone's schedule - including mine!
But even I have to admit that video of little hopping goats is just too cute!
So there might be more videos than usual in the next few weeks; I hope you can all live with that :)

Today's movie shows little Lew off to good advantage. He's going to be as good a hopper as his brother Timmy.

Wasn't that some hopping? It almost looked like someone was pulling his strings!
But I can assure you he was doing that all by himself!

Tomorrow we will have a visit from the proud daddy goat - Luke!

Happy Goats Video Extra! Leaf Eatin'

It was a miserable, rainy day yesterday so we spent most of the day in the barn. Since we didn't do much of anything I am going to give you a Happy Goats Movie Extra!

Remember when I told you of our yummy snack of some crunchy leaves
Mmmmm.
Well, the publicist was out with her video camera and she has a few snippets - one of which I am sharing with you here...

...don't feel too sorry for me. When I show you the next episode in this leaf eating drama I get very special treatment!

I hope you enjoyed this Happy Goats Movie Extra. I know the publicist is having fun with her video camera.

AbbyDay - A Happy Goats Movie EXTRA!

It's Friday and that means AbbyDay!
And since it is AbbyDay I can do whatever I want.
I want to show you a movie.
So there.

Pricilla and Matthew were erm, having quite a to-do and I, Abby, saved the day.
Look for my dramatic entrance!

You will note that I was NOT looking at the camera.
Oh no!
I was not showing off.
I was, erm, just looking at the publicist. That's it!
Not the camera at all.
I am not a diva goat.
Not ME!

I hope you all have a great and wonderful AbbyDay!

AbbyDay - Who's That Knocking?

It's Friday and that means it's AbbyDay - the best day of the week!
I don't know what happened but I went to the trailer to type up the blog and
NO ONE ANSWERED!

What was up with that? Did the publicist not want me to type the blog?
Is she firing me?

Obviously she let me in or you wouldn't be reading this....
You can see how excited I am when it is my turn to blog; my tail is a wagging!

Tomorrow:  Goat Olympic Roundup

Happy Goats Video Extra! - The Goat Olympics Continue

Since the Goat Olympics are such an important event and they don't happen all that often I told the publicist that having some extra videos this week was OK. She agreed and so today I am going to show you Happy Goats video of the Synchronized Bark Eating event.

Of course we wanted to enter our best eaters into this event. Mallory and Matthew had already won a medal in the Synchronized Dirt Eating so we entered them in this event too.

They did very well as you will see.

The Goat Olympics are coming to an end and I have to say that I will be happy. I am an old goat and all of this excitement is a bit much for me. All of that basking in the sun was HARD WORK.

Tomorrow: It's AbbyDay

(ps: The publicist has another video of Mallory and Matthew on her blog.)

Sunday Movies with The Happy Goats

Welcome to my new feature here on the blog;

Sunday Movies with The Happy Goats

Every Sunday I will have a video to show you about life on the Farm. I must admit that that this week's video is a little embarrassing for me but I am committed to showing it all...

But I have never denied that I loves me some apples!!!

Tomorrow: Goatucation

Luke Loves the Does

Every day the publicist takes us up to the barn so we can get settled in for the night. We does and Matthew go up first and then she goes back for Luke.  He is always very excited about getting in to the barn to see us...as you will see in this new Happy Goats Video!

Isn't he just the handsomest little high kicking goat you have ever seen?

The publicist apologizes for the jerky parts. She is still learning. She also needs to work on her "goat voice."  I told her she was a bit annoying but she didn't listen to me....

Don't forget my Blogoversary Giveaway. Today is the last day to enter!
