Nom, NOM, Nom, NOM NOM!
Oh the male person is so very good to us.
I know I have said this before but look:
If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE
Those Russell's Pouts are so very tasty!
Did you see how I had my very own pile for me and me alone; except for those stupid chickens?!
Stupid chickens!
They have to horn in on everything.
I do love Russell's Pouts!
Do you?

AbbyDay: I am a Grazing Machine. Don't Mess with Me!
The grass is really starting to gow around the Farm.
This is when I start to show my worth. Unlike some other goats here (uh-hem Pricilla) I am a grazing machine.
I go out every day and help the male person keep the Farm looking good.
I get in my grazing "zone." I don't like to be disturbed.
Matthew hasn't learned this yet.
Sometimes I have to give him a little erm, encouragment to remind him who's the SuperGrazer!
Pffft!
I graze alone!
That is how it is with all of the greats.

The Strike Has ENDED!!!!
I knew we would win.
I knew the publicist would get the weather sorted out.
This is what we woke up to on Easter Sunday
Nothing but beautiful blue skies no matter which way you looked.
There is nothing like the Big blue sky in Montana
So now we are no longer striking and we went back to work!
The publicist thought it might be a good idea if we helped to mow the grass up by the road.
We are not allowed to do this without her.
She is afraid we might go across the street and visit the horses. We are not allowed to cross the street. Those things you humans drive called cars can hurt us.
The grass is growing very well up by the road and it is bright green and truly yummy. The first grass of Spring is always a treat!
Mallory enjoyed herself quite a bit
So did I , but I am, of course, a dignified goat.
Now Abby - she is a lawn mowing machine!
Just look at her go!
She really shovels it in.
Talk about nom, nom, nom!
After we finished mowing the grass I went for a rest in the pen. As you know I am a bit tired with my kids due so soon.
The other girls and Matthew went for a graze by the riverbank.
It is just so nice to have the sun back.
We hope the publicist keeps it this way.....OR ELSE!
Tomorrow: Wordless Wednesday (Almost)

Ooooh, We Have Nice Neighbors!
I have written before of the horses across the street; of how they sometimes like to come over and say "neeeeiiiiiiggggghhhhh!" But I have never told you about the horses' publicist!
To tell you the truth I hadn't really met him.
He was out the other day trimming his trees and our publicist ran out and asked him if he wouldn't mind sharing the branches.
Because you know how much we goats love to munch on spruce and pine. Mmmm!
And look what he brought to us!
Aren't we the luckiest goats ever?!
Of course Mallory and Matthew were right in there munching away.
I think they found a nice tasty bit of bark to nibble. Oooh, how yummy!
The publicist is so good to me. It was a cold morning so she brought a branch to me in my little goathouse. She really spoils me.
It was a tasty blue spruce. A very special treat!
Of course Matthew had to come and try and snitch MY special branch! Harumph!
I think he might be giving that chicken the eye. What do you think?
Then the horses' publicist had a great big bonfire with the rest of the branches.
I'll bet it was nice and warm over by that fire.

Happy Goats Video Extra! Leaf Eatin'
It was a miserable, rainy day yesterday so we spent most of the day in the barn. Since we didn't do much of anything I am going to give you a Happy Goats Movie Extra!
Remember when I told you of our yummy snack of some crunchy leaves?
Mmmmm.
Well, the publicist was out with her video camera and she has a few snippets - one of which I am sharing with you here...
I hope you enjoyed this Happy Goats Movie Extra. I know the publicist is having fun with her video camera.

Don't Leave Me
Heh Heh
I know I hinted at the famous Goat Dance of Joy.
But I have to disappoint you.
It doesn't mean I won't have it for you later in the week......
But today I have a special treat for you. Well, it really was for us but you might enjoy us eating our treat.
Leaves!
That's right! A friend of the male person gave him several bags of tasty dried leaves and now we get to munch them all up.
My little studmuffin got to check them out first. He wasn't sure about the bag at the beginning...
...but the publicist spilled them out for him and he munched away.
Then she brought some into our pen.
Mallory had to be a bully goat again and she rushed right up to get her share.
Matthew was there too! Of course...
The publicist made a seperate pile for Abby and me to munch. Wasn't that nice of her?
I just love a crunchy leaf!
So does Abby.
I was giving Matthew a bit of the stink eye here. I really wanted him to move so I could eat some more.
We all had a nice taste of something we don't get to eat very often. All of our trees are pine trees. There is one more bag left so I know we will have another tasty treat on another day.
Yummy!

The Sweet Taste of Pine
If you will recall from last Friday's AbbyDay the publicist brought us a nice treat of some pine tree branches. Mmmm, they were tasty. I haven't had a chance to tell you about them until now. It's been so busy around the Farm that the pine tree story fell by the wayside a bit. But the memory of that delicious pine still lingers.
The branches were freshly cut and were bright green.
Mallory and I both enjoyed a nice munch.
And of course Blue Guy had to get in on the act. He never misses a snack!
Jillian did her fair share of nibbling.
The kids were all still here then; don't they look cute all in a row eating their pine?
I hope you enjoyed the pictures of our pine eating frenzy as much as we enjoyed eating it.
Tomorrow: The girls get frisky

The Last Graze of Fall
Winter will soon be here and there is not much left for us to graze on. We are mostly eating hay and the treats the publicist gives us from the male person's garden. It's disappointing but that is the life of a goat. It's a good thing we like hay! The publicist buys us some tasty hay too. Yum!
We don't go out for many grazes in the winter because there just isn't much to eat so when the publicist let us out yesterday we knew it was probably the last one for a long time. It wasn't a really sunny day but it was still nice to run around and see the sights. The kids really had fun because they haven't had too many grazes.
We all head over to the riverbank because the view is so pretty. Isn't that what you would do?
Then we ran down to munch on the bushes in the gulley. There were still some yummy green leaves.
Mallory ran up and found a log to nibble. Mmmmm, bark.
Jillian scratched her head on an old tree. I know from experience that this feels really, really good.
It was fun for all of us to be out.
A chicken even joined in the graze. I just can't seem to shake those hens. Harumph!
I hope you enjoyed seeing our graze as much as we enjoyed going on our graze.
Tomorrow: It's AbbyDay and she is going to have a special message for you.

AbbyDay - I am a Glorious Goat
That's right! I have said it. I am just a bit tired of being upstaged by the two new additions to the Farm. I mean, I know they are cute and all but I am a glorious goat. I was here first and I deserve some attention. So I am just going to let you bask in my glory as I enjoy my treats on the Farm.
There is nothing like a big dose of Abby to start off your weekend. I hope you appreciate AbbyDay as much as I do.
Tomorrow: More of the New Kids. Sigh.

Life Returns to Normal
We are settling back to normal here on the Farm. We still miss the kids but life goes on, right? The publicist has been very nice to us as she knows we are sad; I think she is sad too. But that is enough of the sad! We are Happy Goats and happy we will be!
One of the publicist's friends, our Aunt Diane (she sells Avon if anyone needs any) sent us a present! We love presents! Especially edible ones. Aunt Diane has a garden like the male person. She grows some different things - like cabbage! She sent us her cabbage plants - after she had picked her cabbages of course. Mmmm, we love cabbage leaves. She is also going to send us her corn stalks. Yummy! More treats to come.
We all shared in the delicious treat. The big boys got theirs first. Of course they had to have seperate piles. (Not that we does are any different.)
Hi Luke! Go ahead cutie pie, eat your cabbage!
I try and stay away from all of the confusion. I mean look at this craziness....
Wait a minute! That isn't a goat by the water bucket! What is Fred the Farm cat doing? Could he be thirsty? Silly Fred!
Why does Blue Guy have to try and take my snack?
He is a hungry rooster!
Jillian is eating big right now and who could blame her! She is going to have her kid any day now.
Abby, of course, ate hers on the top spool!
I hope you are all enjoying these snacks of ours as much as we are. Thanks Aunt Diane!
Tomorrow: AbbyDay; Abby reminisces about little Harry.
