That was a very delicious treat!
Since I had a treat I now have a treat for YOU!


Yesterday's post was the 1,000th post on my blog!
Can you believe it?
I can't. That's a lot of blogging for this goat (with a little help from Abby)

Broccoli Face-Off: Happy Goats Farm

Yesterday you saw Nora the goat guarding a pile of broccoli stems.
Did she get to eat them all by herself?

What do you think?
Of course not!


We goats are piggie goats when it comes to goat treats.
But who shared Nora's pile o'broccoli?

ME!
I saw that pile and knew I had to have some.


We had quite the face-off!
I maaaaed at her to leave. That it was now MY pile.

But she did not listen.
I suppose I should be a good goat and share but that is not in a goat's nature.
Just ask Abbygoat!


But I did.

We both shared the pile of broccoli ends.
It was good.
There was enough to go around.


BUUUURRRRRRRRPPPP!

Farm Treat! Broccoli

Ooooh, we are very lucky goats.
Very lucky!
The male person harvested some broccoli and guess what?!
We got some broccoli stems and leaves as a goat treat!


YUM!


It was Sarah's first time trying broccoli stems.

She was not sure so she gave them a sniff.
Then she hopped up on the spool.

There she gave them the A-OK!
She looks like she might fall off at any minute!

Be careful Sarah!
No broccoli stem is worth falling off a spool!


Louise enjoyed her first taste of broccoli too.

These kids are very lucky to live on the Happy Goats Farm!
They get all kinds of spiffy treats from the male person's garden.

Louise really got up close and personal with her broccoli before she gobbled it up!


The publicist put little piles everywhere so we wouldn't erm, argue with one another.
Here Nora is guarding a pile.

Did she get to eat it all?

Christmas Tree-t Part II

We are still enjoying the Christmas tree-t from the male person and the publicist.
Mmmm, tree.

It is nice to have some greens. 
Greens are good in a diet.
Even for you humans.
It's true!
I wouldn't lie to you.
So eat your greens. Pricilla says so!


Today I will show you how much my kid Sarah and my grandkid Nora enjoyed munching on the tree.
Nora LOVES tree.

She must get that from me.
heh

She just ran right up to the front of the tree and nommed away.
Good girl, Nora. Good girl!


Sarah had to check it out first.

She gave it a good sniff...

Then decided it a tasty treat!
Smart Sarah.

I knew that once she tasted it she would be a muncher extraordinaire!


On Thursday you will get to see the fun that little Kringle had with the tree-t.

Christmas Tree-t Part I

The publicist brought us down from the barn today and we found a big surprise in our pen.
It was a very special tree-t for us goats.

That's right!
It is a Christmas tree.
The publicist and the male person's Christmas tree.
They knew we would love to munch on it and they were right.

We all had a lot of fun with our surprise and it will take all week to share it with you.
The publicist took lots of photos.
I will go first.
I dug right in to that delicious Frasier fir.

As I told you before I am a fir connoisseur.
Mmmm, delicious!

There is nothing like a munch of greens in a dreary winter.
It is also good for a good head scratch.

I love a good head scratch.
Especially from a tree with such good needles.

That splotch you see on my neck is some iodine. I had a boo-boo that the publicist had to put medicine on. It stung a little but I am better now.


We will be able to munch on this tree all week long. By the time we are done there will be nothing left but the trunk. Then we will eat the bark off of that.


Ooooh, what a tree -t!

We are very Happy Goats today!


Tomorrow I will show you how much Nora and Sarah enjoyed the tree.

Carrots - Are They Good for Goat Eyes Too?

The publicist came into our pen with this:

Needless to say we were very excited goats!
Whether carrots are good for our eyes I do not know.
I do know they are good for our stomachs!

Of course Mallory the bullygoat was first in line.

She does look happy with her carrot.
Marion was not sure about carrots.

She has only had carrot TOPS not carrots. You can see that Mallory was ready to munch that carrot if Marion did not!


Matthew had no trouble deciding whether to eat HIS carrots!

He butt right in and ate quite a few.
I'm surprised the publicist still has 10 fingers.
Nor did Abby. 

I, of course nommed mine right up.

I do loves me some carrots.

More, more, more!

Nora was her usual shy self.
She will not eat food from the publicist's - or anyone else's - hands.

So the publicist put her carrots on the ground for her.

She did enjoy them...
So did Sarah.

She is, after all eating for two or maybe three!
Even after watching us all eat the tasty carrots little Marion was still not sure.

Oh well, that meant more for us!
You will be shocked to learn that my studmuffin does not like carrots!
So he did not get a treat today.


Are our eyes any stronger? I do not know.
Our stomachs are full and happy. That I DO know.



It really is a wonderful time of year. We get so many delicious treats.
The publicist and male person have so many nice friends to think of us this way.

What's in the Bag?

The male person was helping the publicist in the kitchen yesterday.
But somehow I don't think THIS belongs in the bag...

Sherpa the Farm cat feels the same way.

But Harry the Farm kitten seems to think this is a good place to be.

Someone sent us goats a bucket of treats!
How exciting is that?
They have an apple tree and they sent us the windfall apples.

Mmmm, apples!
We goats love apples.
And there are rumors of corn husks under the apples.
Mmmm, corn husks.

We are the luckiest goats in the world!
