What is Nora the goat Up to Now?

Where on the Farm is Nora the Goat?
Can anyone guess?

I will give you a hint!

Silly little doe!
Can you guess now?

How about now?
That's right!
Nora the goat went into her daddy's pen!

She really did some exploring!
I don't know about these kids.
They don't stay where they are supposed to, do they?

Let's go Nora - time to go back to your pen!
Silly kid!

Hey Publicist, Hey, Hey HEY!

Hey publicist.
Hey.
Are you paying attention?

Whatcha doin?
Is it important?
Important like scratchin' me?

You really should be scratchin' me.
There is nothing more important than that.
Nothin' at all!

Aaaaaah.
Aaaaaah
That's it.
That's what's important!

Hey publicist!
Hey!
Hey!

I want to thank everyone who reads my blog. This is my 2,000th post.
I am a very proud goat.

It Was That Kind of Day

You know the kind I'm maaaaaing about.
The kind where you just want to sit and bask in the sun.
Especially since the sun is going away for a few days.

So I just stretched out and basked away.
It was very nice.
This extended summer weather has been very nice.
I will be sorry to see it go.
But all good things must come to an end.

AbbyGoat does not believe me.
She thinks it is going to stay sunny.
Well, she'll find out soon enough.
She enjoyed basking today too.

I don't think any of us are going to be happy tomorrow.
The lovely 76° afternoons are going to give way to rainy 50° days.
I think AbbyGoat is trying to "Goat Stare of Death" the weather away.
I do not think that will work.

I do know one thing.
Little Nora will be happy.
No matter what she is a happy goat.
She love to be pet.
She loves the publicist
She is a very sweet little goat.

Little Nora Explores on Her Own

Sometimes little Nora just needs to get away from those two boys.
I think they sometimes play a little too rough for a tiny doe.

I don't blame her.
Who wants to spend all their time around bucks anyway?

She came over by me to see what I was doing.
Which was well,  nothing.
So she checked out a log. And maybe nibble a little bit of grass.
Logs are always very fascinating to little goats.

She tried to climb on top of it.
But the log won this time.
That's OK Nora. Soon YOU will win.

For now just study the log for your next attack.
Become one with the log.

Or not.
You can eat the log.
What ever floats your little goat boat.

Nora the Goat is Crazy!

It's true!
She is.....
Just look at this

She does not like green apples!
She sniffs them.

She will even go so far as to snuffle them and take one into her mouth.
But....she will SPIT IT OUT!
Can you imagine such a thing?

Spitting out an apple!
I was shocked!

I will neither confirm nor deny that a certain hornless brown and white goat ate those spit out apples. I will only maaaa that I don't think ANY apple should go to waste.
Ah-hem.

Back to Nora.

She maaaas that she thinks only RED apples taste good.
What a silly goat!

She prefers tree-t.

Soon There Will be No More Tree-t

You will recall that not too long ago Nora the goat tried to hide behind the Christmas
Tree-t.

It almost did hide her!

Not any more!
The Christmas Tree-t has been eat.
(I know, bad grammar but cute rhyme.)
But we still have some munching to do.

Look at last year's Christmas Tree-t.
We did some job on it, didn't we?

So we will continue to munch

and munch

and munch some more until that Tree-t is down to the trunk!
The publicist gave me some as take-out.
I will show you on Saturday.
Mmmmm.

Oh, it has snowed. A lot!
We are NOT Happy Goats!

Where is Nora the Goat?

That Nora the goat!
She is trying to hide.
From what you ask?
You will find out tomorrow on Silly Sunday because it was very silly indeed.

Do you see her?
At least she is smart.
If a goat is going to hide, a goat might as well hide behind a food source!

What's Up with Buster Brown the Goat?

The publicist came to the barn to let us out to enjoy the nice sunny day.
When it came to be Buster Brown's turn to go to his pen he took off like a shot!
Instead of his usual routine of jumping in the hay pile and having a much he did this:

What do you suppose he was up to?

Of course!
Buster Brown and Nora are in love!
They danced the rhumba a bit ago and should have kids in March if all goes well.

They had quite the convermaaation.
The publicist was getting impatient.
She had goats to milk.
Things to do!

But Nora sure looked like she wanted a little goat kiss, didn't she?
She didn't get one though.

They maaaaed their goodbyes and Buster finally went to his pen.

Not that going to his pen is a horrible thing.
Look what was waiting for him.

GRAIN!
I think he enjoyed it!

Don't you?

Out, Out Damn Goat!

So you saw yesterday how reluctant Nora and I were to leave our nice, warm, snow free barn.

Did this stop the publicist?

NO!

She made us go out into all that snow.
Stupid publicist.

I mean that snow was up to our udders.
Do you know what it is like to have frozen udders?
I thought not!

I tried to reasonmaaaa with her but it was no use.
She said we had better get used to it.
It was winter!

So off we trekked.

The long....

cold walk...

To the doe pen.
Does anyone in Florida or Arizona or HAWAII want to adopt some nice, sweet goats?

Silly Sunday - Snowhooves

Nora the goat shows off her new snowhooves.
I am not sure that she is happy about them.....

SNOW!

The publicist told us that snow was coming.
Ugh! Snow.

You know how I feel about snow....
The male person spent all day yesterday getting the outside ready for the BIG STORM that was coming our way. He told us we would probably have to spend the day in the barn.

Ugh! All day in the barn.
Yuck!

Well, it snowed.

Heh, and we didn't have to spend all day in the barn.
Not much of BIG STORM was it?

Now there was a bit more snow in the mountains but we were lucky down here in the valley.

I for one am glad I am not a mountain goat!

But Nora and I are both happy we are sportin' our winter coats!
