The Tree-t Goes On

Well, to maaaa you the truth the tree-t is gone but the publicist didn't use the photos fast enough so I'm still catching up. We ate that tree-t FAST,

It was yummy.
We wish we had more.
But there is only as much as there is.

I must maaaa that Harley the goat truly enjoyed his very first tree-t.
He got right into it.
Literally.

He doesn't even let the presence of AbbyGoat stop him from nomming on tree-t
That really maaaas something.
I don't mess with her....

His nanny soon came to make sure Abby wasn't messing with him.
That tree-t sure sees a lot of action!

I will have a big announcement about the blog tomorrow so be sure to stop by.

Show 'em AbbyGoat

The very first day the Tree-t came into the doe pen a certain goat made sure it knew who was boss.
Of course we all know who that was, don't we?

If you cannot see the movie you can watch it on YouTube HERE

Who else BUT AbbyGoat!?!

First Time Treet-ters

We only get Tree-t once a year.
I do not think this is fair but it is what it is.
The publicist says that she only gets a Christmas Tree once a year.
So I guess it makes sense that we therefore only get Tree-t once.
But I am still bummed.

Tree-t is tasty.

This was the first time those rotten little kids had gotten to taste Tree-t.
Did they stay and eat the Tree-t in their pen?

Of course not!
They came and ate my Tree-t!

Needless to maaaa they found it quite yummy.
And they kept eating it!
Not to mention eating my GRAIN as well.
Harumph!

Don't get me wrong.
I am glad they are growing big and strong.
They are my great grandkids.

But they are very......active.
They like to climb on me.
I am an old goat.
This is why the publicist has put in my very own special pen.

When those three are over here "visiting" it's enough to drive a goat.....

Right into her goathouse for a little bit of peace and quiet.
It's nice the publicist gives me a pile of hay in there.
Those little piggies kids eat my hay too!

I Love My Tree-t

You will recall that the Christmas Tree-t FINALLY made its way out to us goats.
I was very excited about this occurrence.
In fact, the publicist said she hadn't seen me move that fast in a very long time.
I promaaaaa-sed you a movie and a movie you shall have.

If you cannot see the movie you can watch it on YouTube HERE

I do look rather excited and happy don't I?
And despite what the publicist might say I am not making noises like a little piggie.
Harumph!

It's Here, it's Here. The Tree-t, the Tree-t!

Oh, I was such an excited goat this morning.
Would you like to know why?

The male person brought the Christmas tree-t!
And I got first choice!
The first thing I did was rub my head all over the top of it.
It felt soooooooooo good.
Did you know that tree-t made a great scratcher?
It does! The publicist will have a movie of me enjoying my piece of tree-t on Monday.

But first I had to direct the male person in how to cut the tree-t up so we each had some.
It was an important job.
Of course I got the best piece because I am spoiled special.

He did a good job.
He is A-OK in my book.
I think I'll keep him around.

Farm Cat Friday - Bye Bye Tree, Hello Tree-t

We all hope you had a very nice New Year's Day.
We had a quiet day.
It was sad in a way.
The publicist took all of the cat toys off of the tree.

Pumpkin "helped."
I think he will miss having the tree to hide under.
He spent a lot of time beneath its branches.

I think it made him think he was outside.
Only it was warm.

Now the tree will become a tree-t.
Pumpkin will have to find a new place to hide and the goats will start to munch.

All will be right on the Farm.

I Do Not Understand You Humans

I just don't
Every single year the male person brings home a perfectly tasty tree and then what does he do with it?

He takes it into the yurt!
He puts sparkly lights on it.
Then the publicist hangs all kind of inedible things on it.

She calls them "ornaments."
She says they make her happy.

You know what makes ME happy?
EATING the tree.
Why do I have to wait?
It makes no sense AT ALL.

Humans.
Harumph!

AbbyDay - SHARE?! Share This!

It's AbbyDay, the best day of the week written by the best goat on the Earth.

I AM BACK PEOPLE. I AM BACK!

I will maaaa to you that I did not like feeling sick.
It was not fun.
But I am back now. Back to my usual self.

The male person tossed that Tree-t into the pen and Pricilla thought we were going to share.
As IF!
As if I would share with anygoat.

If you cannot see the movie you can watch it on YouTube HERE

I showed that Pricilla.
That Tree-t was MINE!

Christmas Tree-t! Christmas Tree-t! Christmas Tree-t for All!

It's the most wonderful time of the year.
It's Christmas Tree-t time!
You know we have been waiting with bated goat breath!
I heard the yurt door open....

...and out it came.
OUR GOAT TREE-T!
Yay yay yay yay yay yay yay YAY!
But why is he stopping?

WHAT IS THE MALE PERSON DOING TO OUR TREE-T?!
Oh the tree-manity!
He broke it.

He broke our tree-t!
WHAT WAS HE THINKING?

Oooooooh. We are SHARING the tree-t!
I guess that is fair.
We are in two pens so the male person gave us each half a tree-t.

He is the Solomon of male persons!
(Do not worry about Luke the goat - he got the wreath. More on that later.)

Maaa-y Christmas to All

All of us here on the Farm would like to wish you a Maaaa-y Christmas.
We are going to try and stay dry since it is raining here - instead of snowing!
The publicist is going to bring us some tasty apples as a Christmas treat and we are going to dream of what is to come.....

Mmmmm, Christmas Tree-t
Soon it will be ours.
We can't wait.

We will be taking a short break until after Christmas so that we can enjoy our time with each other and the publicist and male person. I will back on Thursday with more tales from the Farm.

Maaa-y Christmas!

Itchy, Itchy, Itchy

It's that time of year.
It has started to warm up and our underfur is shedding.
It makes us look very shaggy and we are very itchy.

In times like these I am very happy to have the remnants of the Christmas tree-ts in the goat pen. (Beware the rooster!)

If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE.

That sure felt good!
The Christmas tree-t looks quite covered in underfur these days.
I'll have to get the publicist to take a picture of it so you can see.

The birdies then take our underfur to line their nests.
It keeps the baby birdies nice and warm.

My Studmuffin is a Lucky Goat

You have seen all of us enjoying the Christmas tree-t. Well, not quite all of us - you have not seen my handsome studmuffin enjoying his bit of the tree-t! The publicist would not leave him out of the fun. She is an equal opportunity dispenser of tree-t!

Well, truth be told it was the male person who delivered it but it was the publicist who did the directing. ("Ain't that the way of it," the male person mumbled)

If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE

As I watched my Luke enjoying his tree-t he did spend more time butting it than eating it but as long as he had fun that is all that mattered, right?

Bruce Practices to be a REAL Toughbuck

Little Bruce was a little scared of the Christmas tree-t at first.
I don't blame him.
He had never seen a tree-t before.
It was so much bigger than him.

He has now figured out that it is a good thing to have in the goat pen!
He is using it to practice being a Toughbuck!
Well, when he doesn't get interrupted....

If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE

That AbbyGoat! She does not let anygoat have any fun AT ALL!
Not even her grandkid.

I Get MY Share of the Tree-t

That AbbyGoat is a tree-t hog.
She does not let any other goat near it but I am a smart goat.
I found some time to enjoy the tree-t.
And enjoy it I did!

If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE

I wanted to climb INTO the tree-t - did you see that?
Sometimes I am a silly goat.

AbbyDay - Who's da BossGoat? I'm da BossGoat!

It's AbbyDay, the best day of the week. In fact I maaaa here and now forever that AbbyDay is the ONLY day of the week!

As soon as I saw that Christmas tree-t in our pen I took charge!
I let it know that AbbyGoat was not going to be afraid of tree-t!

If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE

So THERE tree-t.
So there!

You are not only tasty, you are good for butting.
So says AbbyGoat - Queen of the World!

A Surprise for the Happy Goats

The male person left us a surprise the other day.
I am happy to report that I was the only goat that knew exactly what to do with the surprise. Now AbbyGoat was still in the barn as she needed to be milked so I don't know what would have happened had she been there....

I hope you enjoy this movie. There will be several movies this week. The publicist says she has been very bad about showing you our movies and we are, of course MovieStarGoats and you deserve to see our OscarGoat performances.

If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE

Weren't those other goats silly?
Did you see just how excited I was?
At least until the others scared me away.
Don't worry though, I went back when they weren't there and had my fill!

And don't worry about my Luke. The male person made sure he had some too.
That male person is just the best!

Take Out Tree-t

Before all of this storm stuff started we goats were enjoying the last of our Christmas Tree-t. Oh, those long ago days. Days full of nothing but eating yummy tree-t. I am going to reminisce a bit now because I am tired of the snow.

Nora and Sarah were munching away but the publicist knows I am a special goat.

So she brought me Take Out Tree-t.
That way I didn't have to be bothered by any other goat while I enjoyed my snack.

And boy! Did I enjoy my snack!

The publicist brought me several pieces.

She really spoils me, but then again I deserve it!

I just had to watch out that a stupid chicken did not steal MY Tree-t!

Do YOU like Take OUT Tree-t?

Thursday, January 19, 2012

Soon There Will be No More Tree-t

You will recall that not too long ago Nora the goat tried to hide behind the Christmas
Tree-t.

It almost did hide her!

Not any more!
The Christmas Tree-t has been eat.
(I know, bad grammar but cute rhyme.)
But we still have some munching to do.

Look at last year's Christmas Tree-t.
We did some job on it, didn't we?

So we will continue to munch

and munch

and munch some more until that Tree-t is down to the trunk!
The publicist gave me some as take-out.
I will show you on Saturday.
Mmmmm.

Oh, it has snowed. A lot!
We are NOT Happy Goats!
