Those bucks!

Join Bruce and Clarence and they show off for us girls and show you that Love is a Buttlefield!

If you cannot see the movie you can watch it on YouTube HERE

Silly boys!
Do they think that impresses us when we have Luke the goat across the way?

War - Continued

As I left you on Saturday I was showing you how those boys, Bruce and Clarence were fighting over their goat house.

Silly boys!
I guess they just have to practice their fighting skills somehow!
It was quite the battle.

Clarence held the territory first.
And he looked quite comfortable up there, don't you think?

But Bruce had other ideas!
He went over to discuss this with Clarence.

That's when it all went to pot.
It seems Bruce wanted to sit up there too.
Would there be room?
Would they share nicely?

What do YOU think?
It was QUITE the battle.

I think little Bruce had a head up on things.
Don't you?

He was determined to claim the top of the goathouse!

SUCCESS!
But do you think he was able to bask in the win?

If you did, you do not know buck goats!
Silly goats!

It started ALL OVER AGAIN!
They played like this all day long.
I guess they are just having buck boy fun!

WAR!

Bruce and Clarence are enjoying their new home but bucks being bucks they have started laying claim to the goat house they have to share.
This has led to WAR.

Who will win?

Bruce?

Clarence?

The viewers?
Stay tuned for the rest of the story.....

Exiled!

The time has come.
The boys have been permanently exiled to the garden.

It's true!
And to maaaa you the truth it's a relief.
They were always sniffing around in places I don't want sniffed.
I am a modest doe and I don't want to always walk around with my tail down if you know what I mean.

Since their banding didn't go as expected and they are old enough to be weaned from their nanny they now have a pen to themselves.
The publicist moved a goat house in their for them and they have hay and water and grain.

What more could little goats want?
OK - maybe their nanny but they would have to be weaned SOMETIME and they ARE 4 months old now.

They are learning to adjust.

A Surprise for the Happy Goats

The male person left us a surprise the other day.
I am happy to report that I was the only goat that knew exactly what to do with the surprise. Now AbbyGoat was still in the barn as she needed to be milked so I don't know what would have happened had she been there....

I hope you enjoy this movie. There will be several movies this week. The publicist says she has been very bad about showing you our movies and we are, of course MovieStarGoats and you deserve to see our OscarGoat performances.

If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE

Weren't those other goats silly?
Did you see just how excited I was?
At least until the others scared me away.
Don't worry though, I went back when they weren't there and had my fill!

And don't worry about my Luke. The male person made sure he had some too.
That male person is just the best!

Goatucation Makes a Return - Fixing the Bucks

Goatucation is making a return for today. There were quite a few questions when I showed you that the twins had to go to jail when Louise erm, wanted to dance the rhumba with Luke.

This is not going to be a fun Goatucation but it will answer all of the questions.  As you know there seem to be a lot of little boy goats born on the Farm. When the male person bought Luke the goat from his Farm he came from a Farm where there were a lot of boy goats and he asked the lady if that meant Luke would make boy goats. She swore up and down that he would not.

She lied.

Luke has been here 2008 and he has danced a lot of rhumbas. The only girl goats have been Emily and Thelma and Louise. So that leaves the male person with a lot of buck fixing to do. And he growls a lot every time another little buckling appears.

We cannot have a lot of bucks on the Farm and bucks are hard to place. On the other hoof, wethers (a fixed, male goat) make very nice lawn mowers and excellent pets. So the male person and publicist do something called "banding" the little boy goatlings. It is not their favorite job but it has to be done. Not everything is fun on a Farm.

It bothers the little guys for about 10 - 15 minutes and then they are back to bouncing around and annoying us older goats as kids are wont to do. If the male person erm, misses the buckling can maintain his "buckiness" and that is what happened with Bruce and Clarence. They think it is because they were smaller than average. Nothing more can be done at this point. This presents a problem because they now spray and do things that a buck would do so they cannot be placed as pets.

The male person and publicist are not sure of what is going to happen right now. These are some of the hard decisions that come with having goats.

They will stay here for a while yet so you will get to see them grow a bit more. They will just have to go to jail when their nanny wants to dance the rhumba!

The Twins Went to JAIL!

It's true!
I wouldn't lie about such a thing.
It seems that when the male person fixed them he, erm missed. So they aren't completely harmless.

This is why they sing the Toughbuck Chorus so often it seems.
Then their nanny was finding Luke the goat VERY attractive and it was a dangerous combination of events.

So the publicist put the twins IN JAIL.
Well, really she put them in the garden.

It was contained.
They had hay.
They had water.
They had a lot of room to roam.
They had each other.
They just didn't have what they wanted the most.
Ah-hem.

They spent a lot of time running around exploring. They were never far from each other though.

Little Clarence made his displeasure KNOWN!

Any time he saw the publicist he would MAAAAAAA!
And loudly!
She knew they were just fine.
They could still see the herd and they had plenty of food.

Wait!
Is that the Goat Stare of Death?
Tsk, tsk. That is no way to win the publicist over to your side Clarence!

They eventually settled down to their new surroundings and actually started to enjoy the big pen.
The male person is going to build them their own pen as soon as the ground softens up in the Spring.

Pricilla the SnowGoat?

Is that what they are singing?
It is certainly what they turned me into!
Harumph!

If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE

At least I am still a popular goat.
Silly bucks!
I am not sure I like all of this singing.
Would you?
For some reason it makes the publicist laugh. And laugh and laugh and laugh.
She is a very silly woman.
But she brings me treats so I have to put up with her.

Sherpa meowed at me to let you know that the RAFFLE is on at Santa Paws Drive. There are lots of great prizes including the one I donated - A Year of My Rich Soap! So if you have not donated any green papers yet now you can do so and maybe win a prize too!

Oooooh, Bad Goats!

It seems I hear the publicist saying, "BAD GOATS!" an awful lot around here lately.
Not that she would ever have cause to say it to ME!
I am hardly ever never a bad goat.
In fact, I am downright angelic.

Why am I hearing hysterical laughter?

Never mind.

Today's post is about REALLY bad goats.
Just look:

I was shocked too!
You never see ME in the hay pile.

Erm.
THAT PICTURE IS PHOTOSHOPPED!

Back to my tale....
That Louise does not control her kids!
Especially that little Clarence.
He was down.

He was up.

He was a little jumping bean of a kid!
Doesn't he look like trouble's a brewin'?

Just look at how floofed his fur is!
He soon started chasing his brother around.

Louise KNEW she was in trouble.

Look at her face!
She kept peering around the corner every time the publicist yelled.

Not that she moved away from the hay pile or anything! Oh no!

She and those hoppy kids of hers just stayed there and munched.

The publicist soon corralled them all and got them back in the barn.
Where those boys were STILL climbing.

Silly kids!

I Refuse to Discuss the Snow

If I do not maaaa about it, it does not exist.
Right?

So therefore I give you kids on a wood pile.
They go up.

They go down.

They run all around!

They leap! They fly!

They have FUN!
Don't they?

Bruce and Clarence Sing!

Thelma is about to dance the rhumba for the first time and Bruce and Clarence think they should be her dance partners.
Even though they don't have the correct dancing shoes.
Silly kids!
Here they sing the Toughbuck Chorus to try and get her attention.

If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE

She was not impressed and they prove at the end that they are not so tough after all.
They are still just kids.

I hope you liked their silly little song.

Be sure to stop by tomorrow for a very special Sunday post as the Happy Goats Blog for Peace.

Bruce and Clarence are Going to Eat Me Out of Barn and Goat House

Those two kids are GROWING!
It may not look like it but they ARE getting bigger.
And they are getting bigger by eating MY grain.
It's true!
I wouldn't lie!
Look:

If you could not see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE

Did you see that Clarence stealing my grain?
Harumph!

I am going to maaaaa to the publicist about this.
I am the eldergoat around these parts and I deserve RESPECT.

PS - I had to put the comments under moderation because of the nasty spammers. I am very sorry but it was that or limit them. The publicist will approve them as soon as she can. I do not like SPAM at all!

My Great Grandkids are Pretty Silly!

It's true!
I would not lie about something like that.
They ARE pretty silly.
Just look at this:

Clarence was eating some grain from the feeder

And Bruce shows up.
(They are never really far apart.)

He wants some grain too - of course - but I don't think this is the most expedient way of getting it.

Silly Bruce!
Now neither kid can eat any grain!

I think Clarence looks a bit put out.
Put out of his spot and put out of his grain.

Soon Clarence is truly put out and Bruce FINALLY gets some grain.
Louise comes to see what all the fuss is about.

Clarence goes off to other adventures.
And he gets away from the pecking, pointy beak of the chicken!
Louise wonders how she gave birth to such crazy kids!

Me?
I'm just a happy greatgrandnanny!
