AbbyDay - I am a Nostalgic Goat

It's AbbyDay, the best day of the week. And just so you know - AbbyGoats are the BEST goats.

I have been thinking.
It happens when one is a hormonal goat.
My kid Thelma is going to have HER kids soon.

I am going to be a grandnanny again.
I can hardly believe it.

I remember when Thelma and Louise were born.
It seems like it was yesterday!

They were soon growing big and hopping all over the Farm.
Time goes by so quickly.

And suddenly Louise was having kids.
My first grandkids.
I guess I now knew how Pricilla felt.
Don't tell her I maaaed that, OK?

Then Bruce and Clarence the goats joined us on the Farm.
Oh my! They were cute.

But soon they were acting like BOYS!

Who knows what Thelma will have?
The publicist tells us it will be in the next week but only a goat knows for sure.

And then soon after I am a grandnanny I will be a nanny again!
My oh my!
There will soon be kids hopping and bouncing all over this Farm.

Fun times ahead!

PS - our very good friend, Daisy the Curly Cat wrote a very informative post about how to treat your friends on her PetMeds Blog. Pricilla even helped her! You should go and check it out to see Daisy's Etiquette Lesson. It is very wise.

That is what these two cause....

No matter the weather or the time of day.
Boy are they going to be surprised when they are not the "new kids" any longer.

Bwamaaahahahaha!

Thelma's udder has dropped so it won't be long now!

A Happy Announcement

I am sure you remember the happy day that Jillian and Mallory arrived on the Farm.

We were thrilled - well mostly - to have them here after we learned that they were not being treated nicely at their old Farm. Goats should not be treated poorly! Goats have feelings! Goats need to have enough to eat - they should not have to scrounge for food. Jillian and Mallory are very happy here. They have learned what it is like to be spoiled goats and I think they like it.
They have had adventures here like battling over their goat house

and jumping on top of the big goat house. Battling again. Hmmmmm.....

You will also recall I am sure that Jillian had a date with Michael and danced the paso doble.

So you see that Jillian has had a lot of exciting adventures in her short time here on the Farm. I am now happy to report that we think her life is going to get even more exciting. We are pretty sure that Jillian is pregnant! Isn't that great?! More kids for the Farm. Just look at her in this photo; doesn't she look a little, well, round?

It is a little tricky to tell these things for sure with us goats as you can't go to the pharmacy and buy a pregnancy test but the publicist thinks she is indeed pregnant. If she is right there will be more little kids in September. Michael will be a daddy goat. Won't he be proud?

AbbyDay - So There Pricilla! I am a Cover Goat Too

As I mentioned when I let Pricilla sleep in on Thursday, I too am good enough to be a cover goat. She is not the only goat around here with the looks to grace a magazine cover. See

*

Since my kid is coming soon MY headshot is on Expecting magazine. I can be famous too. I gave them photos of my last kid, Nora for the inside so they know how beautiful any kids of mine will be. Nora is living on another Farm with Michael the buck's twin Sarah. She is one year old now.

Nora was a very cute kid and I am sure my new kid will be too! Here is a photo of my beautiful self and Nora. It shows me teaching her how to graze. A good mother does that you know.

Soon I will have photos of a new baby to post. I wonder what color it will be?

Be sure to sign up for the newsletter. Someone is going to win THREE BARS of rich soap. There are only a couple of weeks until the May 16th deadline.

* Just like Pricilla's cover the publicist made this one up for me to keep me happy. Isn't she nice?

Michael's Big Date

I haven't talked much about my other son, Michael for a bit. It's been all Kevin. I can understand that; Kevin is new and little and cute. But I can't forget about Michael. He is a good boy too. He has grown up to be a very fine looking buck.

He has been making eyes at the new girls. And yesterday Jillian was making doe eyes at him. Ha! Get it "doe" eyes? Jillian is a doe...ha ha ha! So the publicist arranged for Michael and Jillian to have a date. Jillian was very excited and couldn't wait for Michael to get to her pen.

Michael went in their pen and Mallory graciously left them alone.

I think they have been watching too much "Dancing with the Stars" because it looked to me like they were trying to do the paso doble. But I guess dancing is a good thing to do on a date.

Michael seemed to really like Jillian. It was Jillian's first date with a buck. On her old Farm there were no bucks.

Afterwards Michael went back to his pen where he started to sing Jillian a song.

I think both goats had a lovely time. Hopefully Mallory will get to go on a date soon too.
Don't forget my newsletter contest; all who sign up for my newsletter(over there to the right) through May 16th will be entered into a drawing for THREE BARS of my rich soap. I am not a spammy goat. I am too busy with little Kevin and setting up dates for Michael. So you don't have to worry about too much mail. But you will get discounts....
