Lock Up! Happy Goats Farm

Matthew is a very baaaaad goat.
He does not listen to the publicist!
So because of that he has to be put into solitary confinement until he learns.

He does not like this.
But we all have been through this.
Even me, I am ashamed to say.

Matthew keeps trying to eat too much grain.
As you all know too much grain is not good for a goat.
So the publicist is only trying to help Matthew - even if he doesn't understand that.

You can see he is trying his best looks out on her.
But she is going to make sure he learns his lesson.
She does not want anything to happen to him.

So until he pays attention to her...

This is where he will be - Lock up!
Happy Goats Farm.

I hope all of my readers in the US had a very nice 4th of July.
While I understand the barbeques and the parties I will never understand the fireworks.
Ooooh, does all that noise scare this old goat!

More Fun in the Wood Pile

You will recall that the male person bought us a pile of wood of play in.
Well, he piled that wood up!
I don't know why he did that. Silly male person.
It makes it harder for us to eat it.

It didn't stop Matthew and Timmy though....

Matthew is a baaaaad boy!

A Sharp Parter

Matthew the goat is growing up.
He is not the little kid on the Farm any longer.

He will soon be a year old!
Can you believe it?!

His horns are growing and his hair is starting to show some style;
it's parting down the middle!

Isn't that something?
He likes to show off for the camera.
He THINKS he's going to be the next Farm studmuffin.

Erm, THAT'S not going to happen. As we all know Matthew is a wether.
But it doesn't stop him from flirting.

Silly Matthew!

Hey Publicist, Hey, Hey, Hey! Hey Publicist!

It was an exciting day when Sarah and Nora came back to the Farm.
But I think that perhaps Matthew was feeling a bit left out because everyone was fussing over the new arrivals.

The publicist was standing by the spools and I think he was trying to get her attention

What do you think?

He kept tapping her with his hoof
Then he butt her with his head

and he did it again!

He was very insistent.

And then, then!

He BIT her hood!

Even Mallory was shocked at his behavior.
Can you imagine such a thing?!

I guess he realized he was being a bad kid because he leaned over to give her a goat kiss and then he jumped down to play with Nora and Sarah.

Silly Matthew.

Matthew and the Trailer

Matthew is growing up!
He is starting to explore on his own.
It is only right. He does not need his nanny as much any longer.
The other day he decided to check out the male person's trailer.

I can understand why.
It's the trailer the male person uses to bring home our delicious hay.
It is covered with yummy hay dust.

If I could jump up there I would.
But my old legs won't jump like that any more.
He checked out the back.

He checked out the side.
I wonder what he saw.

Then he decided to come down.
He thought about it a bit.

And he really wasn't very graceful about it at all!

He almost fell off!

But he finally made it back down.
Whew!

What a silly boy!

Mallory and Matthew Have a Fight

Mallory and Matthew have been having little battles.
I think Mallory is tired of nursing Matthew.
He is a big boy now.
He really does not need to be drinking milk any more.

The two of them really go at it.

You can see that even Abby is amazed.

But Mallory tends to give in to him.

We nannies are all the same when it comes to our kids.

The Happy Goats Car Wash

It's Sunday so you know that that means! It's time for

SUNDAY MOVIES WITH THE HAPPY GOATS!

Today I have a movie that shows the opening of the Happy Goats Car Wash!
What?!
You didn't know that goats washed cars?

I also think it might be the closing of the Happy Goats Car Wash.
Mallory really didn't do a good job and the publicist had to stop Matthew from jumping on the male person's truck.

Oh well. We will have to think of something else to do.
Any ideas?

Tomorrow:  Goatucation

Happy Goats Video Extra! - The Goat Olympics Continue

Since the Goat Olympics are such an important event and they don't happen all that often I told the publicist that having some extra videos this week was OK. She agreed and so today I am going to show you Happy Goats video of the Synchronized Bark Eating event.

Of course we wanted to enter our best eaters into this event. Mallory and Matthew had already won a medal in the Synchronized Dirt Eating so we entered them in this event too.

They did very well as you will see.

The Goat Olympics are coming to an end and I have to say that I will be happy. I am an old goat and all of this excitement is a bit much for me. All of that basking in the sun was HARD WORK.

Tomorrow: It's AbbyDay

(ps: The publicist has another video of Mallory and Matthew on her blog.)

The Goat Olympics Continue...

It's Sunday so you know what that means! That's right it's

SUNDAY MOVIES WITH THE HAPPY GOATS!

We are continuing with the Goat Olympics here on the Farm - we all need a chance to compete in our best events. Abby cannot get all of the attention.
So I would like to present to you Mallory the goat and Matthew the goat with their entry into the Synchronized Dirt Eating competition.  So sit down, grab a bowl of your favorite dirt and enjoy!

We will know tomorrow if Mallory and Matthew won a medal. I am rooting for them of course! It's always good to have Gold Medal goats on the Farm.

Tomorrow:  Goatucation

A Nanny and Her Kid

We nanny goats love our kids. I even love Abby even though she drives me crazy. Mallory is lucky to still have little Matthew with her. He will be moving soon - although I don't think Mallory realizes it. I'M not going to be the one to tell her. Oh no!

They spend a lot of time together. They like to jump up on the spools and play.

They do look happy up there, don't they?

But Matthew is getting big now and he is going to go over into the buck pen with Luke to keep him company. Luke needs a friend, don't you think?

I suspect that Mallory will miss her little guy, but at least she will be able to see him across the driveway.

Not like me and my little Kevin. Sniff, sniff. I hope my new kid is a doe so she can stay on the Farm.

Matthew Butt Me!

That Matthew! He is growing up and he is getting frisky. His nanny had a date with Luke the goat on Tuesday - I will tell you all about that on Saturday - and Matthew was running around because he missed her. So he decided to take it out on me.

ON ME!
He came over and started to butt me. This is where he got the goat hair that was on his horn yesterday. Silly Matthew!

I put my head down to him but that did not seem to discourage him at all.

He even did the goat stomp at me.
The goat stomp!

Can you imagine such a thing?!
Who does he think he is? Harumph!
Mallory was watching - with pride I think. Harumph again! But I suppose I would be proud if a kid of mine did the goat stomp at a bigger goat so I guess I understand....

He soon calmed down and went and stood on the stool with his nanny. I am sure she was critiquing his stomping.

Harumph!

Wordless Wednesday - What's That, Matthew?

What's that on Matthew's horn...
Here's a close up

You'll find out tomorrow!
You'll be horrified!

That Mallory!

You are all going to think it is Mallory week here on The Maaaaa of Pricilla but she has been acting up! You saw how she was chasing me around on Monday and today you will see how she went after little Matthew.
Yes, you read that correctly - she was even chasing after her own kid.

Although, it is a good thing for a nanny to teach her kid how to do the goat stomp. The goat stomp is an important thing for a goat to learn.

That Matthew sure doesn't look too impressed does he? So Mallory decided to stomp at him again!

When Matthew just ignored her again, Mallory ran off...

I can't say that I blame her, none of us like to be ignored do we?

Tomorrow: It's AbbyDay and you know what that means.

The Sweet Taste (?) of Pine

As I mentioned before (and given how the publicist keeps messing with my schedule) we goats were given a yummy, yummy New Years treat. It is going to be Valentine's Day before I get to show you these photos!

Mallory loves pine. She went right over and gave it a good sniff. It has a lovely bouquet you know.

Matthew just dove right in and started munching. He is no fool! He knows a good snack when he sees one.

Now that I am pregnant the publicist is treating me extra specially. It's like I had room service! She brought my pine right to my goathouse so I didn't have to go out into the cold. Isn't she nice?

But then Mallory had to come and try and snitch my pine!

The publicist shooed her away and she went and got a drink of water. Silly Mallory!

Of course Abby had some pine too but she will want to tell you all about it on AbbyDay. You know she doesn't like to share the spotlight.

Oooh, rumor has it that the memory card for the video camera will be arriving on Friday. The publicist said something about the slowest shipping she has ever encountered. I don't really understand that but it will be fun to star in movies! I just hope Abby doesn't steal all the scenes.

Tomorrow: AbbyDay

It's a good thing the electric fence is not on....

Or someone would be getting a shock!

Playtime for Matthew and Jillian

It has been quite chilly lately and that tends to make us goats frisky. We run around to help warm us up. The other day Jillian and Matthew were running and jumping and butting like crazy goats.

Jillian started by running and leaping on to the spool and then off. The photo is fuzzy because she was moving so fast!

Then she decided to play with Matthew. The two of them often have fun together. They started by butting heads.

Then when Matthew got distracted Jillian bit him! Blue Guy was watching so he was a witness.

Look - you can see her nibbling.

Matthew didn't like this and he cried and Mallory came running.

She got between them and gave Jillian a maaaaing to.

Then Matthew decided to go graze and all was well with the goat world.

I hope you enjoyed watching the goats play.
