The Boys Graze Too!

We does were not the only goats that got to get out and graze.
Oh no!
The publicist let the boys out to taste that first grass of Spring.


They were so happy to be free of their pen.

Buster Brown just enjoyed the warm sunshine.

He munched away.
Mmmm, that grass is good!

Luke ate grass for a bit but he had other things on his mind for his first day of freedom.

TREES!

Nommy good!
He showed Buster Brown how to munch on trees.
Or how to butt them. One never knows with the bucks now does one?

He didn't care if the tree was big or small. He went after it!
Then he went a little crazy!
He went on a long goat dance run of joy!

Buster Brown could hardly believe his eyes.

What was the silly Luke up to?
Uh-oh!

He was up to attacking Buster Brown!
Silly boys!
Fortunately it was all in good fun and they went back to munching.

I guess they had a lot of energy to expend.
Silly, silly bucks!


The publicist has EXCITING news! She is getting a new VIDEO camera! So there will soon be Happy Goat movies again.
Hooray!

AbbyDay - Nora the Goat Had Better Stay Out of My Way

It's AbbyDay! The best day of the week. It should be AbbyDay everyday and don't you forget it!


I don't know what that Nora the goat was thinking.

She was eating something that was so very obviously MINE.
How do I know it was mine?
Because EVERYTHING is mine!

I went over there to set her straight.

I ate the cabbage leaf.
It WAS mine after all.
The publicist yelled at me.


AT ME?!

WHAT?
I can't believe Nora the goat got me in trouble with the publicist.
I'll teach her!

She will know that AbbyGoat is Queen!

She actually tried to fight me; ME, AbbyGoat!
I told her she had better straighten out.

She stood her ground.
Well, she IS my kid so I guess I should expect it.

The publicist said we had BOTH better stop it and make friends.
Pfffft to the publicist.
But we pretended....and then we sorted it all out later when the publicist wasn't looking.

Michael and Luke - From Fighting to Friends

Michael and Luke tend to be the forgotten goats around here, especially since Kevin arrived. But they are very important members of the Happy Goats Farm. Without them we wouldn't have, well Kevin. So I thought it would be nice to show you a day in their life. The publicist brings them out of the barn and puts them into their pen where they eat their grain and then attack their hay. Unfortunately they then attack each other...

This behavior has really been on display since Jillian and Mallory have arrived. I suspect they are trying to impress the new does on the Farm. Silly bucks! I guess Luke is a little jealous too since Michael got to go on dates with the girls.

To help blow off some of their steam the publicist let them out for a bit of a graze. They enjoyed this; nibbling on the green grass growing around the Farm.

Then they went back into their pen where they made up and had a relaxing afternoon.

So, as much as they fight they really do love each other. Good boys!
