You will recall that the Christmas Tree-t FINALLY made its way out to us goats.
I was very excited about this occurrence.
In fact, the publicist said she hadn't seen me move that fast in a very long time.

We are all happy to see him acting like a kid should act.

There is something special about a baby goat.
They are so cute when they start to get their legs under them
Little Harley was a bit slow to do this but he is making up for lost time.

ps: BIG NEWS! Thelma the goat had twins last night. I know this is not necessarily exciting but ONE OF THEM WAS A DOE! You read that correctly. There is a new doe on the Farm. I will show you photos tomorrow.

Louise! Be Careful!

Little Harlequin had just settled down to munch on a bit of cabbage when Harry the Farm cat came into the goat pen. This made Louise the goat a bit nervous. It was not good for little Harley.....just watch!

What do you mean that does not look tasty!?!
That is a most delicious goat delicacy.
What is it you ask?
It is Old Man's Beard.
It is a lichen that grows on the trees in the forest here.

When the male person goes into the forest to cut wood for the winter the dried Old Man's Beard comes along for the ride. Then the publicist picks it off to feed it to me because she knows how much I enjoy it.

I can see her coming and I am so excited!
She has been bringing me this little treat for several days.
The last load of wood was particularly covered.

I have been feasting.

AbbyGoat Goes a Little Crazy

By now you all know that AbbyGoat seems to think that the deck of the yurt is part of her grazing territory. The male person totally disagrees with this - especially since she tries to snack on his bonsai plants when she goes up there. He does not appreciate her doing this.

Now it seems that she is not going to allow any other goat to explore the deck of the yurt!

We were out grazing  - actually I was trying to hide from the heat - and I heard all of this caterwauling.

It's true!
I would not lie.
Take for example when it is time for us to go up to the barn.
We get pretty excited when it is time to go up to the barn.

Probably because we get grain.

I LOVE the Weeds the Male Person Grew for Us

The male person was so nice to grow all of those tasty weeds for us.
He is back in my good graces.

The publicist brought me a nice big pile to enjoy all by myself.
None of those other goats were there to steal them from me.

They are sooooooooo good.
I ate the WHOLE pile!
I did.
I would not lie.

But I do NOT grunt like a pig!
The publicist is lying.

She claims if you turn your volume way up you will hear me doing so. (There are no annoying roosters in this movie so it is safe to turn the volume to high.)

So what if I like my weeds!
They are very tasty.

The publicist wants to apologize for not visiting your blogs lately. She hurt her leg and cannot sit at the computer for very long. In fact Saturday was the first day since my blog started that I did not have a post on a scheduled day. She starts physical therapy for her problem today and hopefully she will be better soon.

She will try as best she can to get to visit but she can only sit for about 15- 20 minutes at a time and she pays for even that. She has to sit on a big ball. It's very funny....heh.

I Can't Run and it Seems I Can't Hide Either

As you all know I am getting a bit on in years.
So I don't run and jump like I used to.
I like to just stay out of the way of those young goats.

I like to hide.

But the publicist keeps finding me.
She won't let me stay hidden!

AbbyGoat was out grazing on the hill behind the yurt and she was munching on some tasty weeds when I guess one decided to fight back! Well! She was not going to let that weed get the better of her!

The publicist is being so nice to me since she got back from BlogPaws.
She has given me apples every night.

She brought me delicious strawberries.
Not from the male person's garden - they won't be here until much later in the summer.

I gave it a really good sniff.
It met my approval.

I really enjoyed my unexpected treat.
She is so good to me! Watch! (But beware the rooster!)

Yesterday was the male person's birthday but it seems it was Luke the goat that got the present.
Bwamaaaahahahaha!
What am I maaaaaing about you ask?

Louise the goat wanted to dance the goat rhumba with him.

And so she did.
It appears we will have September kids.
Won't that be fun?

Luke the goat was one happy boy.
He was pleased to have a visitor to his pen.

I'm not sure WHAT Louise the goat was thinking.

I have maaaaaed at you that Alex the goat is a pain in my tail.
