Farm Cat Friday - Silly Sherpa

The publicist says that Sherpa is a Flirty Cat.
Most mornings when she heads back into the yurt from letting us out of the barn he greets her like this:

I guess he is a bit of a flirt.
What do you think?

He follows her along as she walks to the steps.
But not walking on his paws.

Farm Cat Friday - What do You Mean? I Do NOT Sleep Funny....

It's another Farm Cat Friday around the yurt and I must maaa that Sherpa the Farm cat is a very silly sleeper. You don't believe me? Just LOOK:

How can that silly kitty sleep like THAT? He is partway between the cushion and the couch!
I really wonder about these Farm cats!

Would YOU be comfortable like that?
Oh, it seems he is waking up.
I wonder if he will move now.
What do you think?

Hmmm, it appears he is quite COMFORTABLE in that silly position.
He meows that he does not understand what the fuss is about.
He meows that I should try it - as IF I'm allowed on the couch!

"Whatevs", he meows. "I'm going back to MY business I suggest you do the same." "If you don't like it you can maaaaa to the paw."
SERIOUSLY?
He is going to meow to me like that.
Does he not know with whom he is dealing?!

Farm Cat Friday - Sherpa's Game

Every morning Sherpa plays a game with the male person and the publicist.
EVERY.BLESSED.MORNING.
As the publicist would say.

So where IS Sherpa? You will have to watch and see. The publicist starts the movie with the end.

What a crazy cat! If he does not get to play he meows and meows. If that does not work he has gone so far as to drag the pants into the living room!
Isn't he a silly boy?
It does make the male person and the publicist laugh - even though he has been playing this game for a long, long, long time.

He even plays it at night too!
He just loves to get in the male person's pants.
That sounds bad, doesn't it?

The publicist thinks that maybe Sherpa needs one of those cat tunnels but the male person says why spend the money when he has Carhartts.....

As you can see, Pumpkin the Farm cat is NOT impressed.
I have seen Harry the Farm cat jump on top of the male person's pants while Sherpa was inside of them.
THAT made for some fun times in the yurt.

It is NEVER dull when it comes to the Farm cats.

Breaking News: The Male Person Almost Throws Sherpa the Farm Cat Out in the Trash!

It's hard to believe but true!

Just look at the photographic evidence.

How did this happen, you ask?
Well, I will tell you!
The publicist and male person heard some strange noises in the computer room. Now this is not all that unusual with four Farm cats in the yurt.
But these were extra strange noises.
They went to investigate and they saw this:

SHERPA THE FARM CAT WAS IN A TRASH BAG.
Silly Sherpa!
What did he think he was doing in there?
Sherpa is not trash!

Then he started to chase his tail.
I will NEVER understand Farm cats.
BTW - he did not catch his tail. He never does.....


He did seem to like it in there. He settled in for a bit.

The publicist and male person didn't know what to do with him.
That is when the male person decided to try and throw him away.
You see, it was only a funny.


Sherpa did not like being carried in the trash bag but once the male person put him down...

...he STILL did not get out!
The publicist and male person finally just took him out and threw out the real trash.
Silly, silly Sherpa!
