Well, to maaaa you the truth the tree-t is gone but the publicist didn't use the photos fast enough so I'm still catching up. We ate that tree-t FAST,
It was yummy.
We wish we had more.
But there is only as much as there is.
I must maaaa that Harley the goat truly enjoyed his very first tree-t.
He got right into it.
Literally.
He doesn't even let the presence of AbbyGoat stop him from nomming on tree-t
That really maaaas something.
I don't mess with her....
His nanny soon came to make sure Abby wasn't messing with him.
That tree-t sure sees a lot of action!
I will have a big announcement about the blog tomorrow so be sure to stop by.

First Time Treet-ters
We only get Tree-t once a year.
I do not think this is fair but it is what it is.
The publicist says that she only gets a Christmas Tree once a year.
So I guess it makes sense that we therefore only get Tree-t once.
But I am still bummed.
Tree-t is tasty.
This was the first time thoserotten little kids had gotten to taste Tree-t.
Did they stay and eat the Tree-t in their pen?
Of course not!
They came and ate my Tree-t!
Needless to maaaa they found it quite yummy.
And they kept eating it!
Not to mention eating my GRAIN as well.
Harumph!
Don't get me wrong.
I am glad they are growing big and strong.
They are my great grandkids.
But they are very......active.
They like to climb on me.
I am an old goat.
This is why the publicist has put in my very own special pen.
When those three are over here "visiting" it's enough to drive a goat.....
Right into her goathouse for a little bit of peace and quiet.
It's nice the publicist gives me a pile of hay in there.
Those littlepiggies kids eat my hay too!

Christmaaaaa Carol: We Three Kids
We three kids of Happy Goats Farm
Seeing something we run afar
Field and food bin, log and hay pile
Maaaaaing at things with fur.
Maaaaa, we wander. Maaaaaa, we fight!
We visit our elders when we might.
Publicist feeding, always leading
'Til she yells at us not to bite!*
If you can't see the movie you can watch it on YouTube HERE
ps: Did you see me hiding in my goat house?

Oh, HI!
Harley here.
I wanted to thank everyone for all of your positive thoughts when I was not feeling well.
I just wanted to let you know that I am 100% back to normal.
I am eating like a little piggie goat.
At least that's what the publicist says.
Do I look like a piggie goat to you?
I think I look like a hungry goat.
Goat kids need to eat a lot so they can grow big and strong.
After being so sick I really want to make sure I grow big and strong.
My nanny keeps an eye on me.
I still drink her rich milk. I'm sure it helps me grow too.
It's nice we can share our breakfast together.
Then I'll go running to play with my cousins.
So, thank you all.
Have a great day.

Unrequited Love
It has been a goat Peyton Place around these parts.
It's true.
I would not lie.
You already know that Bernadette the goat was singing her song of love.
You also know that Bernadette danced the rumba with Luke the goat.
But there is another love story going on.
Things are always a little crazy here on the farm aren't they?
It all started when Bernadette started her song.
Somegoat perked up his ears.
He just knew that she was singing that song for him.
He was going to answer the song!
He dashed through the fence to get to his love.
He did not care what he had to do.
She was singing.
Singing for HIM.
Bernadette!
I love you!
You are MINE!
Why do you run from me?
Don't you see the love in my eyes?
BERNADETTE?!
You would rather eat grain than dance with me?
You silly kid.
You cannot dance.
Your dancing days were ended.
WHAT?
No dancing?!
Why?
I love you!

The Kid Report
Harley and Nick the goats play together every day.
It's very cute.
It's something this old goat likes to watch.
The leap and hop and run and jump.
They butt heads.
It reminds me of when I was young and fancy free.
It also does my little goat heart good to see Harley just being a kid.
We were all so worried about him and now it's like nothing was ever wrong.
He will grow up to be a strong little wether.
He is even showing signs of being BIGGER than Nick!
He is, after all, a week older and he is a single where Nick is a twin.
The publicist has the three little kids in one pen at night now so they keep each other warm in the bitter cold weather. She says they make a kid pile with Nora on the bottom. Isn't that cute?
Obviously Nora is not suffering from this.
I think those boys are doing a good job of keeping her warm.
Warm is good.

Louise and Harley go out for a Walk
Little Harley is really getting back to normal.
We are all happy to see him acting like a kid should act.
You can see him and his wonky run in this movie.
If you cannot see the movie you can watch it on YouTube HERE
He is even starting to butt heads with Nick the goat.
It makes the publicist smile to see it.

Is That HARLEY?
Could it be?
Is that little Harley in the mulch pile?
IT IS!
It's so nice to see him out and about and having fun.
He's starting to run, albeit a little wonkily.
His nanny still keeps a close eye on him.
She takes good care of him.
The publicist is happy he is doing so well.
Nick and Nora keep him on his little hooves.
That's for sure!
He's even starting to butt back!
Hooray for Harley!

Little Harley is Sick
Just a short post today.
The publicist is sorry she has not been visiting a lot of blogs.
Or spending a lot of time on facebook saying hello.
Little Harley is sick.
She does not know what is wrong with him.
But it does not look good.
Please keep him in your thoughts.

Wordless* Wednesday - Any Bed in a Barn
*The publicist apologizes for the fuzzy photo but she had to show you what Harley does. Every day when he gets in his pen in the barn with his nanny he hops into the hay feeder and goes to sleep. He is there in the morning when the publicist goes in to let us all out. There isn't much light in the barn so the picture is not as good as she would like but she thought you would all laugh anyway.

Harley and Nick Play Together
The publicist has decided the new goats are Nick and Nora.
She is a fan of old movies.
And of her friend Nora.
I was watching the little ones play.
From the other side of the gate.
The publicist one let me in because Thelma was butting me.
The publicist did not think this was good for me.
She was probably right.
But I do wish I could be in there with the little ones.
Harley is actually a little bit smaller than Nick even though he is a week older!
He is very intrigued by these new little playmates
Louise made sure that Harley didn't play too rough.
He's been around a bit longer and his little legs are stronger.
Erm.
Harley! What are you doing?
Nick is not a jungle gym.
Little Nora isn't as active as Nick.
Harley did try to get her to play too.
But she was napping.
Quite soundly.
HALLLLOOOOOOOOOO!
Are you alive there Nora?
Sheesh Thelma - she just wants to nap a bit!
I think it's going to be fun around here this winter.

Little Harley is Starting to Explore
There is something special about a baby goat.
They are so cute when they start to get their legs under them
Little Harley was a bit slow to do this but he is making up for lost time.
You do not believe me?
Just watch!
If you cannot see the movie you can watch it on YouTube HERE
Isn't he adorable?
I think so.
So does the publicist.
ps: BIG NEWS! Thelma the goat had twins last night. I know this is not necessarily exciting but ONE OF THEM WAS A DOE! You read that correctly. There is a new doe on the Farm. I will show you photos tomorrow.

What?! No Ear Freckles? How Can That Be?
The publicist was sratching little Harley under the chin when she noticed something shocking.
As an aside little Harley just loves to be scratched under his chin.
Unlike EVERY other goat on the Farm he does not have ear freckles!
His ears are all black.
No dusting of white.
Could Louise have licked it all off?
ALL of us have ear freckles.
I have them, Luke has them, even AbbyGoat has a few.
What could this mean?
Should I be concerned?
Louise is looking a bit worried there, isn't she?
What does she know?
Hmmmmmm.....

You Can Do It Harley - Well......
Little Harley really, REALLY wants to get into the grain bin.
He tried and he tried and he tried.
I don't know why he wanted to get into the bin but most little kids seem to wan to nap in them.
He walked around the other side and tried and tried again.
But his little legs are just too short right now.
Maybe next week.
For now he just sat down next to it and munched on a cabbage leaf.
I don't blame him.
Cabbage leaves are tasty.
