It's AbbyDay! The best day of the week. Since it's time for the Goat Olympics AND it's AbbyDay that makes it AbbyOlympics!
I am a GoldenGoat - I don't need the Olympics to tell me that.
Everything I do merits a gold medal!
But today I give you my entry into the Tree Butting competition.
If you cannot see my sure to be winning performance you can view it on YouTube HERE
Pay no attention to Louise!
This is NOT the Synchronized Tree Butting competition.
She was just trying to erm, butt in, erm horn in, YOU KNOW!
I think I have won the Gold!
Don't you?

Super Basking
I am preparing for the Goat Olympics.
You might think I am too old but that is not true.
I am entering the Basking competition.
I do not think there is goat out there who can out bask me.
Plus, I have a surprise up my hoof.
You all know I am an expert basker. I can bask in the winter! I can bask in the summer!
Just look at my style.
But what no one knows is that I, Pricilla can....
REVERSE BASK!
Have you EVER seen anything like this before?!
I did not think so.
Just look at my form.
Just look at my concentration.
I am SURE to win gold!

AbbyDay - I Train My Girls for the Goat Olympics
It's AbbyDay! The BEST DAY OF THE WEEK.
There should be no day BUT AbbyDay.
Work on it calendar people.
WORK ON IT!
As you all know the Goat Olympics are coming up this summer.
I will be busy with my new kid(s) so I don't think I will be competing so I am working with Thelma and Louise to get them into shape.
The Abby line will WIN!
It is, of course VERY important that a goat stretch before starting any kind of training. You don't want to strain your muscles by using them before they are warmed up.
Louise shows excellent form here. Ready....
S.T.R.E.T.C.H.
She is now ready to practice her Competitive Goat Yoga!
I think I am going to enter the girls in both Individual and Synchronized events.
What do you think?
Thelma shows amazing form as she shows the "Head to Tail" position here.
To be honest I think she shows Louise up a bit.
Here they both show the "Horn to Hip" position.
Who do YOU think does it better?
I know it it tough but I think Thelma has it.
I think they need practice on their Synchronized Event.
But there is still plenty of time until the big Olympic opening.
I wonder if Lucky Nickel, Millie, Darla and Isobelle are going to participate? Maybe the goats from Texan and Laughing Duck Farm too. Wow that would be some Olympics!
Stay tuned.....

Goat Olympics Round Up
It is that time when the Goat Olympics must come to an end.
I know.
It is sad but we can't stay in competition form all the time. It would just be too hard.
A goat has to have SOME time off.
It was a good year for The Happy Goats.
Abby took the gold in Field Lounging. I think it was her smile that took her over the top in the points.
Mallory and Matthew took the silver in Synchronized Dirt Eating. They were beaten out by a team from another Farm. But Matthew is young and he will learn.
I of course won gold in Basking. I have been basking for years and no one can out bask me.
Don't even try....
Tomorrow we will have the closing ceremonies and I will hopefully have the goat dance of joy for you.
Keep your hooves crossed!

Happy Goats Video Extra! - The Goat Olympics Continue
Since the Goat Olympics are such an important event and they don't happen all that often I told the publicist that having some extra videos this week was OK. She agreed and so today I am going to show you Happy Goats video of the Synchronized Bark Eating event.
Of course we wanted to enter our best eaters into this event. Mallory and Matthew had already won a medal in the Synchronized Dirt Eating so we entered them in this event too.
They did very well as you will see.
The Goat Olympics are coming to an end and I have to say that I will be happy. I am an old goat and all of this excitement is a bit much for me. All of that basking in the sun was HARD WORK.
Tomorrow: It's AbbyDay
(ps: The publicist has another video of Mallory and Matthew on her blog.)

I Compete in the Goat Olympics
Just because I am an old goat and a pregnant goat does not mean I cannot be a good Goat Olympics team member for the Happy Goats Farm.
Oh, no!
I entered the Basking in the Sun competition and I think I blew all of the other goats out of the field!
I mean I have been basking in the sun for 13 years now so I not only have style, I have lots of experience.
We were a bit concerned that this event would not be held because of the weather conditions we usually have but lo and behold the sun came out in full force just when we needed it!
I geared myself up and I put in a Gold Medal performance if I do say so myself - just look at me here -
have you ever seen a better bask in your life?
I do a little stretch and scratch to show the judges that I can make that sun glint off of my fur even though it has been a bit warm and we are entering shaggy time around these parts.
You can see the concentration on my face as I work at my best Basking in the Sun performance so I can bring home the gold!
And you thought basking was all relaxation. Ha!
This is perfect form. I dare you to beat me!
I hope you enjoyed this competition day of the Goat Olympics. It's hard work, but some goat has to do it.
Tomorrow: Wordless Wednesday

The Goat Olympics Continue...
It's Sunday so you know what that means! That's right it's
We will know tomorrow if Mallory and Matthew won a medal. I am rooting for them of course! It's always good to have Gold Medal goats on the Farm.
Tomorrow: Goatucation
SUNDAY MOVIES WITH THE HAPPY GOATS!
We are continuing with the Goat Olympics here on the Farm - we all need a chance to compete in our best events. Abby cannot get all of the attention.
So I would like to present to you Mallory the goat and Matthew the goat with their entry into the Synchronized Dirt Eating competition. So sit down, grab a bowl of your favorite dirt and enjoy!

A Startled Publicist
I have to admit to laughing at the publicist yesterday.
It's true.
I suppose it was not very nice of me, but sometimes the publicist is very funny.
She was out taking the photos of Abby participating in the Field Lounging Goat Olympics and she suddenly screamed!
What could have caused this reaction?
Tango the cat was there to judge the Goat Olympics.
He jumped up on the fence to oversee Abby's form and he just startled the publicist!
She did not know he was an official Goat Olympic judge.
OK - maybe we should have told her, but then we would have missed the scream.
heh heh
After he saw enough and noted his comments he jumped down and went back home.
Abby did indeed win the Gold Medal.
All of us goats want to wish the publicist and the male person a Happy Anniversary!
Tomorrow: Sunday Movies with the Happy Goats

AbbyDay - I Will Win the Gold Medal in Field Lounging!
Hi everyone! It's AbbyDay so you know what that means! All Abby - glorious Abby.
Since the Olympics are going on I thought I would show you my Gold Medal form in the great goat Olympic event of Field Lounging. I suspect that you find no other goat has better form and that I will be awarded the Gold Medal!
Just look at me here - have you ever seen a prettier goat?
My fur just shines even in the limited sun.
I stretch to scratch at my leg and you can see my goat muscles. Mmm! I am gorgeous!
Young Matthew could learn a lot from studying me. It will be many years before he even comes close to being medal ready. You can see I am giving him some tips. I can be a helpful goat.
I even attempted a big smile for the judges.
Then my profile...
I don't even let those pesky chickens mess with my style.
And now I just wait for the big announcement! I am sure that it will soon be all over the news that I, Abby the goat, have won the Gold Medal in Field Lounging.
You can all applaud now!
Tomorrow: An unexpected visitor during the Field Lounging competition
