The Snow Did Fall

AbbyGoat's Stare of Death did NO GOOD.
It snowed.
And it snowed.
And it snowed.
And it snowed some more.
It snowed so much we got enough snow that I pondered how my udder could swing free if it was buried in SNOW.

Guess what?
IT CAN'T!

Just look!
That snow is almost as tall as ME!

I must say that the publicist and the male person are very, very good to us.
The male person made us pathways in our pens.
I do not know what we would have done otherwise.
We got 18" of the white stuff and the publicist tells me that another storm is on the way.
I do not want to even think about it.

My studmuffin didn't care about it as long as he could get to his hay.
Luke has a rather one track mind.
Well two tracks but this is a family blog.

The other girls are just sticking to the cleared areas.
We have never seen this much snow before.

Not all at once, anyway.
It was a lot of shoveling for the poor male person.
We do thank him.

Especially Bernadette.
When she gets out of the cleared area she disappears!
There will be a movie on Saturday!
If we are not snowed under!

I am one goat who is ready for Spring.
Does anyone want to adopt me?
I do not ask for much....just a nice place to sleep, some hay, some grain and the occasional apple.

SomeGoat is Getting Plump!

I hope you all had a very Happy St. Patrick's Day.
I had an OK day.
It snowed and you all know how I feel about snow.
But the publicist surprised us goats.

And I am here to maaaaa to you all about it!
It was a BIG surprise.
And a tasty treat.
Not something I would expect on a day like it was yesterday.

Can you guess what I got?

Delicious strawberries!
Look how beautiful.
Look how red!
Look how juicy!

I was a VERY happy goat!
I got MORE THAN ONE!

Don't worry - the other goats got some too.
I will show you that tomorrow.

I was out in the goat pen and Louise came over and decided to challenge me.

Just what was she thinking?
Does she really think she will win?

I might be old but I am still the head goat around these parts.
She is trying to tell me otherwise.

She needs to learn her lesson!
But I will be gentle.

She does not let any other goat near it but I am a smart goat.

Oh Boys.......

I know the publicist has been showing you all of the attention I have been receiving lately from the boys on the Farm.
At times it is pretty silly.
At times I don't mind it.

At times I let those boys know that their attentions are not unwelcome.

I do this when they are not so close.
I play hard to get.
When one of them shows up I act like I DON'T want them around.

Hahahahaha.
I drive those boys crazy.

Harumph!

It has been raining for FOUR DAYS.
This is as much is what the publicist saw as she walked up to the barn.

She is not happy either.
She is mumbling something about mold on her mildew.

She opened the barn door and I did not like what I saw.

Well, I LIKED seeing her of course!
But then I looked out and saw the weather.

Ugh!
It was another day of rain!

I was NOT a happy goat!
I expressed this.
The publicist said there was nothing she could do.
Even the chickens were soggy.

To be honest, I was a little bit happy about that.
The chickens annoy me.

The publicist went about her work milking Abby and Louise and feeding us nice fresh hay.
I decided to run between the raindrops and get some fresh air.

I did not run far.
Just to the hay pile.
It is under cover so I wouldn't get wet.

I am not a dumb goat.

I maaaaed to the publicist that I had had it with all of this rain.
She told me it was going to rain for THREE MORE DAYS.
This is all I had to maaaaa
