AbbyDay - For Once I Agree With Pricilla

It's AbbyDay, the best day of the week! It had better not be a rainy AbbyDay. I FORBID it! You hear that Mother Nature?

I FORBID IT!

That Mother Nature had better listen to me - or ELSE!
This is one thing that Pricilla and I agree on.
We both hate the rain.
We both say PFFFFFFFT to the rain.

See?
We were able to get out for a little bit yesterday but not for long.
I think the mud may have sucked up little Clarence but I am not sure.

I AM JOKING!

But the mud did come up to his little goat knees.
We have HAD IT!
Rain rain go away.
I wish I could send it to all of you who asked for it yesterday.
Trust me, I would if I could.

Harumph!

It has been raining for FOUR DAYS.
This is as much is what the publicist saw as she walked up to the barn.

She is not happy either.
She is mumbling something about mold on her mildew.

She opened the barn door and I did not like what I saw.

Well, I LIKED seeing her of course!
But then I looked out and saw the weather.

Ugh!
It was another day of rain!

I was NOT a happy goat!
I expressed this.
The publicist said there was nothing she could do.
Even the chickens were soggy.

To be honest, I was a little bit happy about that.
The chickens annoy me.

The publicist went about her work milking Abby and Louise and feeding us nice fresh hay.
I decided to run between the raindrops and get some fresh air.

I did not run far.
Just to the hay pile.
It is under cover so I wouldn't get wet.

I am not a dumb goat.

I maaaaed to the publicist that I had had it with all of this rain.
She told me it was going to rain for THREE MORE DAYS.
This is all I had to maaaaa

If you did not see it, here it is again

NONE OF US ARE HAPPY.
We ALL feel this way

WOULDN'T YOU?

Bringing Out the Big Boots and a New Sponsor for the Catstacular Event

It rained ALL night.
It rained ALL morning.

All that rain made lots and lots and lots of mud.
The publicist had to bring out the big boots.

Her boots are not sick, they have poke-a-dots

She figured it was time for her mud boots.
It's a tough call because her mud boots are not very good in the snow and there is still some snow left around but she decided the mud was worse and she would be VERY careful on the snow. They are very good in the puddles, though.

There are LOTS of puddles!

At least when she is wearing her boots the mud doesn't suck them off her feet like when she is wearing her shoes. She is very happy about this...

And if the publicist is happy, I am happy!

The publicist also wants to announce a new sponsor for the Catstacular Event! The Farm cats will be reviewing the Skratchkabin on 3/27 and the publicist will be having a giveaway for one on her blog on the same day. I know the Farm cats are very excited about this.

AbbyDay - Why Won't the Rain Go Away?

This is Abby and I just want to maaa that I am tired of the rain.
I know the other goats have complained before but this is MY day and if I want to complain I can.
Pffft!

It has been raining all week.
We come out of the barn.
We get settled.
It rains.
Then this starts.

The publicist comes out of the yurt and we all peak out of where we are hiding.

Can it be?

Are we going to the barn?

YES!

We are going to the barn.

Hurry, hurry. Early grain. Early grain.

The stragglers....

Luke is the last one in!

What do you mean you are leaving us here?

Then we stay in the barn all day unless the rain stops.
Of course if it is raining we won't leave the barn anyway.
Not that we are fussy goats or anything like that......
