We certainly enjoyed ours.
It rained all day on Christmas Eve.
We spent the day in the barn.
Harry the Farm cat spent the day sleeping.
I can't say I blame him.
But I guess the big question is, did we have a White Christmas?
Well,.....
.....sort of.
There was maybe an inch of snow on the ground.
I am not sure this counts as an OFFICIAL White Christmas.
But it was enough for me to be a snowgoat!
At least for a little while.
The snow was all gone by the afternoon but the publicist tells me that very cold weather is coming.
It was a very nice Christmas day.
Sherpa had fun.
But then Sherpa always has fun.
He played with wrapping paper.
And he played in boxes.
He could not have been happier.
We did get apples!
They were very tasty.
The kids have learned that.
It will never be the same around here again.
They are VERY greedy.
We all hope you had as nice a day as we did.

Apples, Apples, Apples, Apples, Apples, Apples, APPLES!
Can you tell we are excited?
It is apple season.
There is nothing much better than apple season!
Well, maybe corn season,
or carrot green season,
or broccoli season.
OK - I guess we like to eat.
BRRRAAAAAAAP!
Erm...excuse me!
AbbyGoat was amazed at the nice present some neighbors brought to us.
Do you blame her?
It was a lot of apples.
But here is the problem...
AbbyGoat thought they were all for her and her boys!
She would not let anyone else near them
She would yell at anygoat who came close!
I do not think this was fair - do you?
Look at them - they are piggie goats!
Especially the little RUDE-ly!
Just who does he think HE is?
It is apple season.

I am a Special Goat
You saw yesterday that I had some apple.
What you did not know was that I WAS THE ONLY GOAT TO GET THE APPLE.
I am one spoiled goat!
It's true!
The publicist always treats me a little bit special.
At first I was not sure what was going on.
I was all alone in my pen.
All of the other goats had gone to the barn.
I was worried!
Then the publicist came back and told me to turn around.
Is that?
Could it be?
::sniff::sniff::SNIFF
APPLE!
I haven't had apple in a long, long time.
Oh, yum!
Yummity, yum, yum!
I forgave her right away.
She fed me lots of delicious apple!
I was such a Happy Goat!
There is nothing better than apples.
WAIT! Where did she go?
I have to go find the rest of those apples!
Silly publicist!
She is just playing with me.
Of course I will finish those apples!
They are MINE, MINE, MINE!
All MINE!
And now they are all gone.
::sob::

Nora the Goat is Crazy!
It's true!
She is.....
Just look at this
She does not like green apples!
She sniffs them.
She will even go so far as to snuffle them and take one into her mouth.
But....she will SPIT IT OUT!
Can you imagine such a thing?
Spitting out an apple!
I was shocked!
I will neither confirm nor deny that a certain hornless brown and white goat ate those spit out apples. I will only maaaa that I don't think ANY apple should go to waste.
Ah-hem.
Back to Nora.
She maaaas that she thinks only RED apples taste good.
What a silly goat!
She prefers tree-t.

APPLES! The Publicist MUST be Feeling Guilty
Do you see all those apples?
The publicist brought them out to us.
I think she is guilty about leaving us to go visit Aunt Nora.
If this is how she is going to deal with it I say she should go visit Aunt Nora more often!
That is a LOT of apples!
I was one excited goat!
I was licking my lips in anticipation of tasting those delicious fruits.
The publicist fed them to me one by one.
I might have bitten her finger.
I will not admit or deny this fact.
I was not intending to bite her as I am a vegetarian goat.
I was, however, still better behaved than somegoats.
I am not going to maaa names.

Mad Dash for APPLES!
Yesterday you saw that the publicist brought us some yummy apples.
Well guess what?
She brought us some more today!
Are we the luckiest goats EVER?!
She knew we would be excited so she had the male person let us out of our pens.
We ran like the wind to get up to the barn.
Of course that Abby got there first but it didn't matter because we don't get the apples until we are all in our pens.
The boys didn't care though - they were up on their spool maaaaaing for APPLES!
Then the male person let them loose.
Run Brewster, RUN!
Into the barn they ran.
But what's this?
The publicist forgot to unlock Luke's pen!
Oh no!
But she soon fixed it and we all had our apples.
Yum!
She told us that that was the end of them though, and we wouldn't be having any more for a while. Oh, well. They were delicious while they lasted.

Apples? Did Someone Say APPLES?!
When the publicist came out to take us to the barn for the night she had something in her hands. It was a BIG bowl. It was a big bowl of something that smelled really, really good.
IT WAS A BIG BOWL OF
APPLES!
Are we lucky goats or what?
But then she did not come over to the doe pen.
She went over to my studmuffin.
He likes apples too....
Can you tell?
Oh, he wanted those apples.
He knew how good they were going to taste.
We had not had apples in a while so these were a real treat.
He tried his hardest.
He was going to taste one if it was the last thing he did.
Reach, reach....
Oh! He got the bowl!
Bummer.
Then the publicist went up to the barn with the bowl of precious apples.
Abby was waiting by the gate, ready to run.
Apples?
Apples, apples, apples, apples!
We were all maaaaaing for apples!

Where Was I When the Corn Came Out?
As I told you yesterday the publicist brought some tasty corn stalks into the goat pen.
But as she put the piles of stalks around she went looking for me.
She wanted to make sure I would have a nice pile all my own.
Isn't that nice of her?
But I wasn't in the goat pen!
Where was I?
I was in the mulch pile!
Why was I there instead of eating tasty corn?
Because there are APPLES in the mulch pile!
The publicist yelled at me to get back in the pen.
She said they were old apples.
She said they were "fermented."
She said I would get tipsy.
I didn't know what this meant.
I just wanted the APPLES.
APPLES. APPLES. APPLES.
I love APPLES.
Even more than corn stalks!
But the publicist made me go eat some corn.
I shared with Nora the goat who was very nice to me.
I ate some on my own.
Then I snuck back to the mulch pile.
APPLES!
The publicist found me again and said I needed appleholics anonymous.
Harumph! I told her.
Har(hic)umph!

I don't get anything for telling you about the calendar. I had hoped for some apples but after the publicist's appleholics comment I am not so sure. Tell her I deserve some OK?
