AbbyDay - I Do Things On MY Schedule NOT the Publicist's

It's AbbyDay, the best day of the week. I think this blog should be The Maaaa of Abby.
What do you think?

After I am milked I leave the barn and I go where I want.
I do not do what the publicist says.
I am AbbyGoat!

I go to munch on some bark.
I like bark.
Why should I NOT nibble on bark?

It just tastes so very, very good.
Mmmm, fiber.
Do you like some bark for your breakfast?

My kid Ricky the goat looks a bit jealous, doesn't he?
I think he would like to join me.
But HE listened to the publicist and he is IN his pen.

Oh well, Ricky!
That is what you get for being a GOOD goat.
Bwamaaaaahahahaha.
I am not a nice nanny, am I?

What publicist?
Are you yammering at me?
I don't care.
I want to eat bark.
Go away!

Leave me to my breakfast in peace.
Sheesh!
It's bad enough I have to have the kid watching.

See you all next week.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
I'll be eating bark.

AbbyDay - I am AbbyGoat, Watch me Withstand the Assault

It's AbbyDay, the best day of the week. and now I show you that I am the best nanny in the world!

I was out for a graze - we all were actually and I knew.
I knew because I am such a good nanny.
My kids were hungry for some of my rich milk.

I stood.
They came.

If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE

Did you see how they almost knocked my leg out from under me?
But I stood strong because I'm ABBYGOAT!

Did you see their cute little tails wagging?
That's because my milk is the BEST!

If you raise the volume you can here them really enjoying their meal. There are no loud roosters in this movie. Only a quiet one in the background.

My boys are going to grow big and strong on my rich milk.
It's AbbyMilk!

Dinner with Dad

The other day little Ricky wandered over to Luke the goat's pen.
He gave his daddy a "maaaa" hello!

Then they decided to have a bit of dinner together.
Isn't that sweet?

There was quite a bit to dine on in front of Luke's pen so it made for a very nice get-together for the two of them. They munched and maaaed and maaaaed and munched - it was good for them to get to know each other.

I think Luke the goat enjoyed himself.
In fact, I think they both look happy - don't they?

Luke gave Ricky a couple of maaaas of fatherly advice and then Ricky went back to his brother.
Hopefully he shared what he learned from his daddy.

Luke is a good daddy goat!

We wish all of the daddies out there a very Happy Father's Day tomorrow. Be sure to have a nice meal together whether it be grass or a burger.

Silly Ricky! Hay is for EATING

Ricky the goat is very silly.
He seems to think that hay is a fashion statement.
You think I am telling tales?

Judge for yourselves:

He thinks he is some kind of hay fashion model!
Do you see the sultry pose?
Do you see the look in his eye?
He should be EATING that hay now WEARING that hay!

His brother is not much better!
He is posing too but at least he is not wearing his food!
These two kids have a lot to learn.

*sigh*
At least they are EATING.

AbbyDay - I Show You How Cute My Kids Are

It's AbbyDay, the best day of the week. And I have the best kids in the world - because they are AbbyKids!

The last few days it has been warm and sunny.
I approve.
But before it was warm and sunny it was cold.
Cold enough that Ricky and Rudy were shivering.
This worried the publicist so she put them in goatcoats.

Personally I would find wearing a goatcoat embarrassing but I suppose it is better than being cold.
I must admit that they did look very, very cute.

Don't you think?
Rudy the goat is still teeny tiny but he is feisty. He is first to go anywhere!

In fact he jumped on top of the hay feeder in his goatcoat and kept Mick and Keith at bay. They are a week younger than he is and yet they are both much larger. He didn't care. He did not let them jump up.

He OWNED that hay pile!
He (and I) was very proud!

After he won the battle he jumped down and got a snack.
He still hasn't learned to not eat IN his food.

He has though, learned the Goat Stare of Death.
That's MY boy!

Little Ricky was not to be outdone, but I think he was not happy with the COLOR of his goatcoat.

But buckly bucks wear pink.
Right?

Hey, if it keeps them warm they do!
Be proud, Ricky - wear that pink like a BUCK! (Even if you are a wether.)

You are still a toughbuck!
I promise.
You are an AbbyKid!

Show them!
You know what to do!

That's right - the Goat Stare of Death.
They're my boys!

Neither one has to worry any longer now - the weather has turned and there should be no more need for goatcoats. We are ALL happy about that!
