I am a very mellow goat.
I try not to bother any creature around this Farm.
OK - I have been know to butt a Farm cat.
But they should not get so close to me.
I am a goat.
I am a prey animal.
They look like little mountain lions.
Especially that Sherpa!
Look at him.
You can see it in his eyes - he is ON THE HUNT.
Is he coming after me?
I can't believe my eyes!
He was not hunting me.
He is hunting something I love!
He was hunting my tasty grass!
How dare he!
You don't believe me?
Here is a close up of his chomp!
I guess it is better than his eating me....

AbbyDay - I Eat all of the Grass
It's AbbyDay, the best day of the week starring the best goat on the Earth!
The grass is really growing here on the Farm and it is MY job to cut it down.
And a very tasty job it is!
If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE
Am I not the best grass eater you have ever seen?
I do not let ANYTHING bother me.
I just eat and eat and eat and eat.
Buuuuuuuuuurp!
That grass is deeeeeeelicious!

Scenes from a Graze
A bit ago we were all out on a graze in the neighbor's yard.
He is very nice and allows us to munch on his grass.
It was a beautiful day; the sun was shining, the grass was still green and tender.....
Aaaah, those were the days!
Now the grass is all dry and brown and crunchy.
Almost like hay.
We are glad to get fresh and tasty greens from the garden.
Fall is coming.
The seasons change.

Thelma and Louise - Devourers of Weeds
Thelma and Louise are turning into quite the little eaters.
If given a weed pile to munch they work hard at it and munch away until there is nothing left!
They were out the other day and their nanny left them with a tuft of grass.
They both worked at it.
They have very good grass eating form, I must maaaa.
I suspect that my genes have something to do with that!
Little Louise really concentrates as she eats.
But don't worry!
Thelma is no slacker.
She eats like a pro too!
It's hard to believe these does are only a little over two months old!
I am very proud of them.
The male person is very happy that they are eating all of the tall grass.
Then he doesn't have to mow!

Mmmm, Green Grass!
Oooh, Spring must be coming.
It must!
Why do I know this?
Because yesterday the publicist let Abbygoat and me into the GARDEN!
We had a job to do for the male person.
We were to nibble down THE GREEN, GREEN GRASS that was growing in there.
Tough work but somegoat has to do it!
It was so nice to taste green grass again!
I had forgotten how good it was.
Mmmm. Abby really enjoyed herself.
I am sure her kid(s) liked having some grass too.
What is this?!
An interloper!
THAT should not be here.
Abbygoat went to check it out.
Sherpa the Farm cat made the right decision and ran far away.
Farm cats do not belong where goats roam.
Then we all did some synchronized goat yoga in the driveway before we went back in our pen.
All in all a perfectly lovely day.
It must!

Sherpa the Farm Cat Grazes (?)!
Sherpa the Farm cat is hard to keep inside any more.
He runs out the door almost tripping the publicist in the process.
She has given up. He is such a big boy now she does not feel the eagle is going to fly away with him.
He stays close to the yurt.
There is not much she can do.
She sighs a lot.
He seems to like the grass as much as we do.
I am not sure I like this competition.
We goats are supposed to be the ones eating the grass around here.
Just look at this!
He sniffs...
He bites down...
He looks like he is smiling while he eats MY grass.
Harumph!
I am going to talk to the publicist about this.
Just what am I going to eat if this cat is munching all the good greens.?
