I Wish I Was a Farm Cat

While it is cold and snowy and cold outside the Farm cats have the life.
They get to be inside the warm yurt and even get to have a warm fire!

That is right.
There is a woodstove in the yurt.
Just look at this.

Does Stinky look like a Happy Cat or what?
Since I am a Happy Goat I think I should be allowed to sleep like this in front of the fire.

What do you think?
I think you should say yes....

Brewster is NOT a SnowGoat and My Coupon Code

Our little Brewster is NOT enjoying the snow AT ALL.
(Not that I am either but that is a tale for another day.)

It snowed some more yesterday and the publicist made us come out of the barn!
Can you imagine such a thing?!

When she came out in the afternoon to check on us she called to little Brewster and this is what she got:

You are correct, that is the cold shoulder!
From a kid!

To make it worse when she called him again she got this:

THE GOAT STARE OF DEATH!
Little Brewster was in trouble now.
The publicist told him he was not being a very nice buck.

She told him she had nothing to do with all this snow and she didn't like it much either.
That he just better suck it up and get used to it because it was going to be around for quite a while.

So what did Brewster do then...

Ran to his Nanny for a drink of milk.
What else to do kids do when they are upset?

Silly Brewster!

Don't forget my very special COUPON CODE just for my blog readers!
If you go to my shop and buy my rich soap be sure to enter Pricilla at checkout.
That way you will get 10% off of your order!

Silly Sunday - Frosty the SnowGoat

Frosty the SnowGoat
Was a jolly happy buck

With a corn cob snack and
a bucket of hay the very best of luck.

Frosty the SnowGoat
is a fairytale they say
He frolics in the snow
And his children know
That he loves his life today.

There must have been some magic in that brand new collar he wore
For when they placed it on his neck
The does came by for sure.

Frosty the Snowgoat
was alive as he could be
and the publicist says he could hop and MAAAAA
for all the Farm to see.

Did You Ever Feel Someone Was Watching You?

The publicist felt that way.
She did!
She told me so.

She was out taking more photos in the snow.
She was out walking around taking pictures like this one

And this one

And this one

And she had the feeling that she was being watched.
But she did not see anyone around so she was confused.
The feeling continued!

Then she looked up and saw this

Farm cat Sherpa!
Explains it all, doesn't it?

AbbyDay - Who Deals with the Snow the Best? And I Give You a Coupon Code!

It's AbbyDay! The best day of the week.
It has been snowing around these parts.
I think the other goats are wimpy.
They all stand around like this.

Looking at the publicist like she can make all the snow go away.

Nora the goat hides in a goat house.

Little Brewster hides by his nanny.

Well, that I can understand. He is still a kid.
Mallory and Marion just stand there.

Marion keeps licking the snow off her legs.

Silly Marion.

What do I do you ask?
I am a smart goat.

I eat!
What should any self respecting goat do?

I have exciting news for you!
The publicist is letting ME give you a coupon code to use in the Happy Goat Soap shop.
That's right!

If you go to the shop and use the code Pricilla (why it couldn't be Abby I don't know) you will get 10% off of your order!

Isn't that wonderful?!
This code is good for all of my - YES MY - loyal blog readers through the end of the year.

I hope all of my US readers had a very nice Thanksgiving yesterday. We stayed in the barn - it snowed some more.

Happy Thanksgiving

I want to wish all of my readers in the US a very

Happy Thanksgiving

Even though goats don't celebrate this holiday it is always good to stop and consider all one has to be thankful for.

All of us Happy Goats are very thankful we get to live on the Happy Goats Farm.
We are well taken care of and we get lots of love from the publicist and male person.

While we don't get all the grain we want we do get grain every day which I know does not happen on every Farm. So we are thankful for that. erm burp.

We are very thankful we have a nice barn to go into every night so we don't have to be afraid that something might eat us while we sleep.

We are very thankful that we get nice fresh hay to eat when the grass stops growing in the winter.

We also get treats from the garden in the summer. We are especially thankful for them

We are thankful that even though our kids can't all stay on the Farm the publicist makes sure they go to a good Farm.

And I am thankful that you come to read my little blog.

Abby, Mallory, Marion, Sarah, Nora, Brewster, Luke, Sherpa, Stinky, Pumpkin, Harry, the chickens and I send our wishes for a very nice Thanksgiving.

We are Happy the Male Person is Home

We were so happy to see the male person today.
Even though he does not take care of us we still like him a lot.
We miss him when he is not here.

He told us he had lots of fun on his trip to Vermont.
He went to school in this place called Vermont - he lived there for 10 years.
One place he lived was a town called Brattleboro.

He showed us some pictures.
This is the fire station in the town where he used to live

Of course he would visit the fire station being fire chief and all.
He toured around all the places he used to visit when he was young.
Before he was "old and married."

He brought this picture home because he thought the publicist would like it.

Windham County Courthouse in Newfane, VT
 She did.
He also probably took it because he used to be a lawyer.

This is the West River.

It looks a bit like my river. Plus I see lots of good things to munch.
I wonder why the male person did not take ME on his trip.

I would have had no problem with a TSA agent checking my udder.
I have nothing to hide.

Ultimate Cat Fighting

It is something that happens ALL THE TIME around this Farm.
Who do you think will win - Sherpa or Harry?

Silly Farm cats!

Not So Happy Goats

I have a secret.
It's a big secret.
The male person has been away.
He went on a trip.

To a place called Vermont.
He's been gone for a week.
This is why the publicist has not had her camera.

He will be home today and that makes me and the other goats very happy.
What makes us not happy is this:

Did you see that?
It snowed yesterday!
We do not like snow.
As I have said many a time I am an African goat. I and the others like it warm.
This snow stuff is ridiculous.

The male person is upset he missed the snow.
Well, he can have it - it should have snowed in that place called Vermont.

Did you hear my studmuffin calling for me?
He is so sweet - even if he did dance the rhumba with Abby yesterday.
Harumph!

Amazing Behavior!

I was typing the blog and I saw some truly shocking behavior on the part of the Farm cats.
You are not going to believe it.

Farm cat Stinky and Farm kitten Harry were cuddling!

It's true.
I could hardly believe my eyes.
Farm cat Stinky had always hissed and spit at poor Harry.

Now all of a sudden they were sleeping together on the sofa.
What is the Farm cat world coming to?

Or are they just cold?

AbbyDay - We Go all Literary Without Eating a Book

It seems that all the goats in the goat blogging world are going literary.
It is true.
They are taking quizzes to determine which Jane Austen heroine they would be.

Now if you ask me all a Jane Austen story is good for is a good munch.
Books are very tasty you know.

But I don't want to be the last goat on this bandwagon so I decided to answer the quiz too.
So did Pricilla.
Pffft!
Of course Pricilla would horn in on MY day.

So here are the results.

Pricilla it seems would be Anne Elliot from Persuasion - which just happens to be the publicist's favorite Austen book. That figures. Pricilla WOULD suck up. This is what it says about her: Let's face it; you're easily persuaded, particularly when friends and relatives try to use "the Elliot way" against you. But this doesn't mean that you don't have conviction. Actually, your sense of duty is overwhelming. And though you won't stick your neck out too often, you have learned to speak up when it counts. To boot, you know how to handle sticky situations. You love deeply and constantly.

I think that says she is a wimp which is true. But she does love the publicist so I will give her that.

I am Anne Elliot!

I would be Marianne Dashwood from Sense and Sensibility. It says: You are impulsive, romantic, impatient, and perhaps a bit too brutally honest. You enjoy romantic poetry and novels, and play the pianoforte beautifully. To boot, your singing voice is captivating. You feel deeply, and love passionately.

It knows me well! I had not told anyone about my ability with the pianoforte!

See, that just shows I have more sense than Pricilla.
I knew it!

You can see what heroines my goat friends Millie and Isobelle are by clicking on their names.

To the Barn!

The male person has borrowed the publicist's camera so I have another video for you!
This is what the publicist sees (and hears - oh her poor ears!) when it is time to take us to the barn in the afternoon.

I guess there are some noisy goats on this Farm.
I am not one of them.
I am a dainty goat.

Brewster is Not to be OutMaaaaed

Little Brewster decided that is Marion was going to MAAAAA!
He was going to MAAAA!

Not only maaaa but maaa for his Ma.
heh

Little Brewster is getting bigger and will soon be moving into the buck pen with Luke so the publicist has given him his own pen in the barn. He does not like to be separated from his Nanny at night.

Not at all.
He maaaas and maaaas and maaaas some more.
Loudly.

When he comes down to the pen in the morning he maaas even more.
Here is a video so you can hear him.

Isn't he loud?
You can also see (if you looked closely) that he was flemming. This is one of the signs that he is growing up to be a big buck and has to move or we does might be in for a surprise in 5 months.

We don't want that do we?

Marion the Goat Says, " MAAAAAAA!"

Marion the goat feels that since little Brewster arrived she has been forgotten.
She would like to remind you all that she is still here and that she is still cute.

In fact she let the publcist know this today with a very loud MAAAAAA!
(Marion likes to yell)

She wants to know how you could forget her adorable little face.

and a cute smile

She does admit to being a bit, erm plump...

But that it is because she is always first in line to get to the barn for grain!

THAT is only because I don't run as fast as I used to!

Silly Sunday - Is Sherpa A VAMPIRE Cat?

I have been skulking around and watching Farm cat Sherpa.
I am worried he might be....

A VAMPIRE CAT!!!!!

What is my evidence you ask?
Just look - he sneaks up on Harry the Farm kitten all nice and sweet.
He licks him and holds him like he is his friend
Then he goes in for the big bitey!
THE BITEY IS RIGHT ON HARRY'S NECK!

What do you think?
Should I be worried?
Should I wear garlic?
Mmmm, garlic.

A Lost Video!

I have unearthed a lost video!
A video from when Brewster was just a tiny kid.
I thought you might enjoy it.

Wasn't he just adorable?
He has now learned how to exit the goat pen correctly.

AbbyDay - I Tell You About Santa Paws Drive

It's AbbyDay!
Yay!
I love AbbyDay!
You should too...

Today I am going to be a philanthropic goat.
It's true! I can be nice.
Stop laughing.

I am going to tell you about Santa Paws Drive
It is a wonderful program started by one of my favorite blogs, Your Daily Cute
(Although I have never been asked to star on the blog which I think is a grave oversight. I am VERY cute!)

But anyway, today I am going to tell you how you can help shelter animals ALL OVER THE WORLD. That's right! All over the world. You can read all about it HERE but basically Cute has teamed together with Nip And Bones (a very nice shop that sells stuff for animals - but no goat stuff. That should be rectified!) and other wonderful people to raise money and toys and treats for shelter animals. They will then send packages to 6 shelters all around the world.

Here are some nice pets in Australia playing with toys they received last year.

How cool is this?
Still no goats though. Hmmmm.

This is a kitty in Canada enjoying a toy she received last year.
So you can see how happy these shelter animals are with their presents.

You can learn how to donate by going to Santa Paws Drive. You can choose to give toys, toy bundles for dogs or cats or cash. I asked the publicist to send a little cash. I didn't want to discriminate between dogs or cats.

Aren't I a nice goat?
So why not go and check it out and see if you can help these poor shelter animals. They don't have a nice warm barn like I do. Or a forever home. At least they can have a nice Christmas.

Today I am a ReviewGoat - The 12 Quart Pot from Le Crueset and CSN

The publicist told me that today I was going to be a ReviewGoat.
I am starting to like this job.
I get grain when I am a ReviewGoat and you all know how much I like my grain.

Better yet the publicist told me I was going to review a new pot.
A 12 QUART POT.
A Black Onyx 12 Quart Stockpot from Le Crueset.

DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH GRAIN CAN FIT IN A 12 QUART POT?!

I was very excited when I heard this so I RAN to meet the publicist.
The problem was that some other goats ran too.
They must have smelled all that grain.

The others were all crowding around the pot so I could not do my job. It was not good.

The publicist had to move me out of my goat pen so I could do a proper review
That was OK - I could then eat all of the grain myself.
I had to do a PROPER review, didn't I?

I gave the pot a good sniff because that is what anyone should do with a new product.
You need to make sure it hasn't gone bad.
This pot smelled just fine. In fact it smelled a bit like there was GRAIN inside and that is a good thing.

Then the publicist opened the pot and I saw this:

WHAT A RIP-OFF!
THAT IS NOT 12 QUARTS OF GRAIN!
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?

The publicist told me to "chill."
Harumph!
She said 12 quarts of grain would make me sick and to just do my job.

Harumph again! (munch, burp!)

Well, it was good grain and the pot was very easy to eat out of and it did make me happy for a while.

But I was being a prima donna and I walked away. I know I should not do this but I don't think I got enough grain for the work.

So the publicist let the other goats have it.

And boy did they fight over it.

Sarah got some

Mallory and Marion got BOTH of their heads in there.
Wow!

EVERYGOAT wanted a piece of that pot.

But of course Abby won in the end.

Who else?
Just goes to show how big and strong the pot is!

Even though I walked off the job for a bit I, PricillaGoat can assure you - this is a good pot.

The publicist says she is very happy with her pot too.
She says the service from CSNStores is excellent and they ship very fast.
She will tell you more on her blog.

I guess I should be better tempered.
It's the grain talking....

I want to wish everyone a Happy Veterans' Day and thank all of the Veterans out there for their service. I don't know any Veteran goats but if there are any out there thank you too!

Disclosure:  The publicist received a gift certificate from CSNStores.com to pick something out for me to review. Why she picked a pot and not a big bag of grain I will never know. If you ask me I should have picked out what I was going to review but I am a goat so I guess I can't shop. Any opinions you have read in this post are the publicist's interpretations of my maaaas. She knows me well enough now to know what I mean when I maaa. I received no compensation for this post other than that paltry amount of grain you saw in the pot. I didn't even get any apples. Harumph!
