Silly Sunday - Peek a Pricilla

I am hiding from the other goats.
Especially Little Jim.
He seems to think there is milk in my udder.
Harumph!
My milk has not seen milk in years!

Do NOT tell him where I am, OK?

Or I will have to come and find you!

Silly Sunday - The Goat Stare of Death

I could not believe it.
His nanny could not believe it.
The publicist could not believe it.

But it was true.
We have kept it hidden until today...

But on HIS VERY FIRST DAY OF LIFE

Little Jim the goat gave the Goat Stare of Death.
Beware people.
Beware Jim the Goat!

I think we are all in trouble here.

The male person says thank you for all of the very nice birthday wishes.
He had a delightful day and a delicious dinner.

Silly Sunday - A Goat in a Coat

The mornings have been a bit windy and quite cool so the publicist has decided that little Jim needed to wear a goat coat.
He did not think he needed one - he squealed something fierce when she put it on him.

He does look cute though, doesn't he?

Even if he has learned at a VERY young age to express his opinion.
Very smart kid, that Jim!

He soon adjusted to wearing his stylish little coat and wandered around the pen.
Can you believe how small he looks next to the goat house.
It is hard to believe that kids are so tiny in their first days.

His nanny needs to keep a good eye on him.
At least if he gets lost everyone will know where he lives!
The other goats seem to not recognize him in his coat.

Sarah and AbbyGoat are having quite the goat staredown aren't they?
But Sarah protected her kid. She soon butted them all away and Jim was free to explore and then it happened.

He found his log!
His favorite log!

And on his fourth day of life, SUCCESS!

HE HOPPED ON THE LOG!
He was such a proud little goat he kept running around and around jumping on the log and jumping off.

It's good to be a kid!
Could there be ANYTHING more fun?

Silly Sunday - We Were Wearin' the WHITE for St. Patrick's Day

We were not happy goats for St. Patrick's Day.
Would you like to know why?

Your eyes are not deceiving you!
It SNOWED for St. Patrick's Day
That is just plain silly!

We took one look out of the barn and that was that!
We refused to leave.
What goat in their right mind would go out in the snow?
We are not silly goats!

Even the Christmas Tree-t that the publicist moved into the buck pen was covered in snow. It is not good for nibbling covered in snow!
That is silly!

The doe pen was covered too.
Silly, silly snow!

The snow was gone my noon and the publicist brought us all out.
AND THEN IT STARTED TO RAIN!
We went back to the barn.

It was a very silly day to be sure.
We would like the sun to come back.

Silly Sunday - Harry the SNOW Cat?!

Harry the Farm cat was not happy with the snow this week either.

Should we rename him Harry the SNOW cat?
We are ALL very glad the sun has come out and it has warmed up!

Hiding in the male person's pant?
Silly, silly Sherpa!

Silly Sunday - I Am Sad but I Win a Prize so I Can Smile

I was a very unhappy goat for a while.
Why you ask?
This is why...

My favorite basking spot was blocked by the big snow.
I had nowhere to bask!
That was just not right!

I sulked.
I sulked in my little goat house.

Can you see me.
Do I look unhappy?
But the publicist told me I won a prize!

THAT got my attention!
It is from the very nice Red Pine Mountain blog.
She said it might be TOBOGGANING TURKEYS?!!!!!!!

I am not sure I WANT a tobogganing turkey.....
Would YOU?
Hmmm, I will have to wait and see about this.
I will let you know.

Silly Sunday - I Cannot Bask in the Snow

This is just all wrong.
I CANNOT bask in the snow.

So I demand that the publicist fix this weather.
RIGHT NOW!

Are you with me?

Silly Sunday - Thelma and Louise go Crazypants!

It was like nothing we had ever seen.
The day started quietly enough but then....

They BOTH challenged me.
At the same time.
ME!

It went downhill from there.

They started running

and chasing

and circling

and butting

AND DOING THE GOAT STOMP!

I could not believe it!

Neither could the boys.
They just stopped what they were doing and stared.

And then suddenly, all was right with the world again.
Crazy girls!

Silly Sunday - Stupid Chickens

Can you believe your eyes?!

Even Harry the Farm cat is shocked!

He cannot believe that the publicist is letting the chicken

EAT MY GRAIN!
Harumph!

Silly Sunday - Love is in the Air

Aaaaah, please join us for some goatly romance.

Love is in the air
everywhere I sniff around
Love is in the air
Luke's snort is the sound

And I know I'm being foolish
I know for sure I am not wise
His love is something I believe in
Even when he looks in Sarah's eyes

Love is in the air
as he whispers in her ear
Love is in the air
as licks her horn so dear

And I know that I am just dreaming
I know I am not sane
It's something I must learn to live with
When Luke ignores my name.

Love is in the air
Love is in the air
maaa maaa maa maaaaaa
maaa maaa maa maaaaaa*

I think they might want some privacy now.
At least I will have grandkids in a few months.
*sigh*

*with all due respect to John Paul Young

Silly Sunday - Nora the Goat Bites off More Than She Can Chew

What is Nora the goat thinking?

Does she think she can fit that corn stalk in her mouth?
Now I know that we goat love to munch on a tasty corn stalk but really!

One goat cannot eat ALL of that alone, can she?
Ooooh, I am not going to mess with her.

I will go somewhere else and look for one of my own.

I think Nora is not in the mood to share....

Silly Sunday - Don't Leave Me Again, OK?

Luke the goat really missed the publicist.

He was very happy to see her come back.

He gave her all of his looks to make sure she never goes away again.

This is the one that really got to her.
She went AWWWWWWWW.

We goats are very smart you know......
I would not be able to resist that look either.
