Maaa maaa everyone - Sarah the goat here to reminisce about my kid, Jim the goat. I was sorry to see him leave the Farm but I knew it was coming.
He was a baaaad little guy, wasn't he?
Always butting and biting the publicist
Hee hee.
I thought he was the cutest little kid when he was born.
Of course I think that about all of my kids.
Of course they ARE!
He grew fast and he loved to hop and jump. He especially loved his log in the goat pen.
He was jumping on it and on, ahem....
other things in short order.
He was a BIG eater.
Of BIG things.
Inappropriate things.
But he was cute!
I will miss him and all of the rest of us will miss him too.
Now we look forward instead of past.
Forward to little Louise the goat's kid due the end of this month.
I'm just glad that I am not the one having the kid!

Goodbye Jim the Goat - YOU Will be Missed but Your Butts Won't Be
Farm Cat Friday is being postponed today to bring you this movie of The Kids of Summer.
Jim the goat has left the farm.
It was time.
He will be missed and Sarah the goat will share his story tomorrow.
If you cannot view the movie you can see it on YouTube HERE
The publicist will not miss the butts.
She is very bruised.
She thought it was nice to show you Flash the goat again too.
He is doing very well.
She talked to his new Farm owner.
They love him.
He is very spoiled.
So goodbye Jim the goat.
Goodbye

Jim the Goat DEMANDS Attention
As you saw yesterday Jim the goat lets the publicist know if she is not paying sufficient attention to him. She has to be very careful and always know where he is or she gets butt.
Sometimes he surprises her.
Sometimes she says naughty words.
But overall Jim the goat is a very cute boy.
Don't you think?
Of course I am not just maaaing this because he is my grandkid.
It's because he is adorable!
He does still have some issues with what does and does not constitute a goat snack.
The publicist is NOT a goat snack.
We thought he understood this but apparently he does not.
He is now taking even bigger bites out of her.
I do not understand this.
Publicist does NOT taste good.
GRAIN and APPLES taste good.
Jim is one strange kid.
But cute.
Definitely cute!

AbbyDay - I Send Flash on a SPY Mission
It's AbbyDay, the best day of the week. DON'T YOU FORGET IT!
You will recall that I was a bit...disappointed that the male person did not build me a goat palace.
I was a bit....shocked that he built a new chicken house.
Pfffft!
I decided I needed a spygoat to check out the inside of it to make sure the male person was not hiding something from me.
I sent in my kid, Flash the goat!
That little door is just his size!
He maaaed to his brother Jim to come help.
First they reconnoitered the entry.
They are smart kids!
Then they started to climb the ramp.
Flash was making sure it was sturdy.
He did not want it to fall on Sarah the goat.
Then he looked in!
What did he see?
CHICKENS!
Lots and lots of chickens.
So I guess the male person is not trying to hide something from me.
I still think he should have built me a goat palace.
He is feeling a little bit better. His fever is gone. He thanks everyone for sending along the positive thoughts. So far the publicist has not caught the flu. Keep your hooves crossed!

Through a Glass, Dark Goat
The publicist thinks she is so funny.
She was sitting at her dining room table and she looked out her window and what did she she but....
AbbyGoat stuffing her face.
We were ALL out for a graze but Abby eatslike a pig with enthusiasm.
Do you think she could stuff any more grass into her mouth?
I do not.
You will also note that I am nowhere to be seen.
I am not a dumb goat.
When AbbyGoat is hogging the green I stay far, far away.
I do NOT want to get butt.
Sarah and the kids showed up soon - they have more courage than I do.
Those little ones are sure growing big, aren't they?
Won't be long before Jim goes to his new Farm in September. We will miss him. So far Flash does not have a home and Louise will be having her kid in September so it will still be a Farm with lots of fun going on.
And pretty sites to see.
And AbbyGoat....darn.

You saw Jim the Goat "helping" the male person yesterday.
Ha!
He was really just playing and plotting his escape.
It's true.
Just look! Does he look like he is working?!
NO!
He and Flash the goat are PLAYING.
Just like I maaaaed.
They raced UP the boards.
Then they turned around and raced down.
Silly kids!
Then they started all over again.
I wish I still had that kind of energy.

The Publicist is NOT a Goat Snack
This is something that I thought we had all worked out.
The publicist is NOT edible.
We goats are vegetarians.
We do NOT eat meat.
You would not know this from the above photo would you?
A certain kid seems to think that the publicist is for noshing.
She does not appreciate this.
I have heard the yelps!
Jim the goat looks a little wild eyed as he chomps, doesn't he?
I maaaself have never bitten the publicist so I do not know if she tastes good or not.
But I really think I would much prefer a tasty weed.
I am going to have to have a long maaaaa with my grandkid.
Or the publicist will run out of fingers!
Then how would she feed ME apples?

What is in the Trash Can?
As I mentioned yesterday the publicist heard a terrible catermaaaaing.
She looked out the window and this is what she saw
JIM THE GOAT WAS IN THE TRASH!
How did that happen?
Why was Jim in the trash?
Jim is not trash, he is a goat!
The publicist rushed outside to see what was going on.
Poor little Jim.
The trash can was full of WATER!
We goats do not like water.
No wonder he was catermaaaaaing!
Sarah the goat was quite upset too.
Jim was happy to see the publicist.
He maaaaed and maaaed and maaaed at her.
She got him out and he looked like a drowned rat.
She did not bring her camera down because she was worried about him.
She does think he is a silly little goat.
She THINKS he was jumping to get on TOP of the trash can but did not realize that it was open and that he would fall in. She has now put it on its side.
Little Jim IS a hopper.
Little Jim is NOT trash.

Farm Cat Friday - There's a Goat in the Yurt! There's a Goat in the Yurt!
You will recall that yesterday a certain little goat took advantage of the publicist's mistake.
It's true!
Jim the goat saw the Welcome sign and thought it meant that HE was welcome in the house.
Silly Jim the goat!
He came in and started to explore and then....
AAAIIIEEEE!
A cat! This is not what he expected to find.
Although with FOUR Farm cats I don't know why he was surprised.
AAAIIIEEEE!
ANOTHER one?!
They are EVERYWHERE! (I have heard the male personcomplain about mention this too.)
Jim decided to see if they were the evil creatures I maaaaed to him they were.
He sniffed.
He sniffed some more.
It was suddenly all too much for a little kid only a month old.
He ran out for comfort.
For his nanny.
For some rich milk!
And he left the cats to the house and he and his nanny
went back to their grazing.
So the cats where happy and the goats were happy and all was right on the Farm.
Until the publicist heard a horrible catermaaaaaing!
What in heaven's name did she find?
Come back tomorrow to see.....

Knock, Knock
The publicist made a big mistake.
She left the basement door open!
Oh noes - any kind of riffraff could find its way into the house.
Well, the door DOES say "Welcome."
Does that include goats?
Once a little goat comes into a house it never knows what it might find!
What could possibly make a little goat do the goat stomp?
Come back tomorrow to find out.
