Itchy, Itchy, Itchy

It's that time of year.
It has started to warm up and our underfur is shedding.
It makes us look very shaggy and we are very itchy.

In times like these I am very happy to have the remnants of the Christmas tree-ts in the goat pen. (Beware the rooster!)

If you cannot see the movie you can view it on YouTube HERE.

That sure felt good!
The Christmas tree-t looks quite covered in underfur these days.
I'll have to get the publicist to take a picture of it so you can see.

The birdies then take our underfur to line their nests.
It keeps the baby birdies nice and warm.

The Publicist's Tripod

When the publicist comes into the goat pen to take pictures I am a very big help to her.
I come right over to her and stand right next to her.
She calls me her tripod!

I think though that I am a quadrupod.
What do you think?

I think I look quite thoughtful.
What I am not telling her is that I just like to have my tail scratched.
Sshhhh.
Please keep my secret, ok?

It is nice to have some attention especially since little Jim arrived.
You can see my underfur is coming off. I will be glad when it is gone.
I am a shaggy goat these days.

I Need a Trip to the Goat Spa

It's true.
I am looking a little bit shaggy.

It is because it has warmed up a bit, then gotten cold and then warmed up again.
My fur does not know what to do. And I itch!

My warm underfur is starting to fall out and it is catching all manner of hay.

It is NOT a good look for a famous SpokesGoat.

The publicist has been brushing me but as you can see....

It is not working.
I think she should send me to the Caprine Spa and Salon for  professional attention.
What do you think?

I would like to wish all of my readers a very Happy Valentine's Day. You are all sweethearts to me!

AbbyDay: I Get Some Brushing

It's AbbyDay.
My favorite day of the week.
It is that time of year. The time we start to shed our warm winter undercoats.
It's SHAGGY TIME!
I - and all the goats, except Mallory - have little poofs of underfuf all over us. I mean, just look at me...

This is not a good thing for a star goat!
So I called over to my executive assistant and requested some attention.

She was very thorough. Brushing my back...

Brushing my head....

But then she just went and got silly on me.
I MAAAAAed her back in line!

 Aaaaaah, pure bliss.

Until I had had enough! Even a goat being pampered has her limits!
I gave the goat stare of death!

I needed to get some hay.
I was a hungry girl.
It is hard to be pampered.

Tomorrow:  Luke has a three course meal.
