It was a great Event and I and the other Farm cats and the publicist thank you all for participating.
AniMeals got some great donations.
Here are all of the lucky winners:

The Catastic Event - Peach Industries - Max F.
The Catastic Event - SwiPets Pet Hair Removal Glove - Laurie
The Catastic Event - 6 Bars of Happy Goat Soap - Wen
The Catastic Event - Coupon for 40lb Bag of Precious Cat Litter - Christa B.

We were very happy to do this for them too. I hope you had as much fun as we did.

Catastic Event, Day 8: Cattino Review and Rattino Giveaway
Product provided.
Earlier in the Catastic Event we showed you how to put a Cattino together but we left you hanging as to whether we LIKED this cat scratcher with a modern design and two hammocks for resting. Let me put your curiosity to rest - well, for the most part. You see, ever since it came in the door of the yurt it has been SHERPA'S Cattino. The rest of us have not been allowed near it!
Well except me for a bit for what the publicist call a "photo op." She plopped me on top and started taking pictures. I can assure you - Sherpa was NOT happy about this. So from this point on I am going to turn the review over to Sherpa as he is the one using the Cattino the most. If any of us try to use it while he is near it well....
It's not pretty. I was thwacked on the head just for testing out the very cool scratching section. So I now turn it over to Sherpa.
Hi everyone. I must meow that I L.O.V.E. my new Cattino. It's like it was created JUST for me. See how cool I look sitting in the bottom? Now I know that it wasn't made for me, it was made for a lovely kitty named Miss Trudy but that doesn't mean that it isn't purrfect for me too! It is made in the USA and is finished with beautiful Baltic birch. It is just short of 2 ft x 2 ft in size. It comes with washable hammocks but what is really cool is the availability of additional fabrics. I am going to meow to the publicist to get me a really cool extra one in leopard for when she is washing my red ones. I wouldn't want to miss any lounging time now, would I? You can also get additional scratchers for when your cats mighty claws rip them to shreds.
The Cattino is a combination cat scratcher and lounger so it is ideal for cats like me. Cats with things to do. Cats with CLAWS. I have been using the scratcher quite a bit but I am a sneaky boy. Any time the publicist would whip out her camera to take video I would stop scratching and hide.
If you cannot see the movie you can watch it on YouTube HERE
Bwahahahaha. Did I scare you?
I am one sneaky cat aren't I?
But no matter how hard she tried I did not let her get me on film either scratching or playing with the catnip mustache. I am clever like that. I hear the trill of the camera and I stop what I am doing.
I love that I can sit inside the Cattino or on top of it. Don't listen to that publicist when she makes remarks that there is a little too much me for the top. I fit just fine. My motto is, "If I am comfortable, that is all that counts!" And no matter where I go on the Cattino I am one happy cat. It is mine, mine, ALL MINE!
Therefore if you want one of your own you can shop at Cattino and please follow them on Facebook and Twitter. We do!
The publicist is so happy with the Cattino that she is going to send one lucky US reader a Rattino for their kitty. I think I see something I need to take care of so I will let her tell you about the giveaway. I know my Cattino will be waiting for me when I get back. No cat would DARE get on it while I'm gone. They all know here that it is MINE.
Uh-oh. Trouble's a brewing in the yurt!
As to that giveaway - as Sherpa mentioned. One lucky US reader will win a Rattino - the mouse shaped cat scratcher from the designer of Cattino. How do you win? Just hop on the Rafflecopter. Good luck everyone!

Catastic Event, Day 6: Guest Post from HHGutt from The Stunning Keisha and a Commentathon for AniMeals
Today is a very special day. For two reasons! It is the publicist's birthday and we are celebrating by having a commentathon to help out our friends at AniMeals in Missoula! Isn't that great? We are also very lucky to have HHGutt here from the blog Stunning Keisha and she is going to share a tale of a REVOLT. I do not think they are happy with CK right now. To thank her for posting today the publicist is making a donation to A Call 4 Paws Animal Rescue.
But first Stinky the Farm cat is a little taken aback. It seems she didn't believe me when we were meowing this morning.
Stinky! It is not polite to be shocked at the publicist's advanced age. She can't help it. Do I have to remind you that you are no spring chicken yourself?
Sometimes I wonder about things around this Farm. I will try and keep Stinky in line while you enjoy the guest post.
Erm. Without further ado please welcome HH Gutt with SOS - Save Our Stuffies!

Buenos días! I’m honored and delighted that Pricilla Presley Goat, AbbyGoat Lane and the Farm Cats invited me–HHGutt—to guest post during their hugo Catastic Event. “Stunning” Keisha is taking a siesta and couldn’t be bothered.
I’m going to fill you in on what’s going on in El Condo de Gato Guapo (The Handsome Cat’s Condo) since she censors what goes into the blog Stunning Keisha. There has been some very disturbing events commandeered by her which wound up with any and all stuffies being expulsados or I believe you say tossed aside.

Happier times
CK has always been aggressive but she became particularly aggressive toward her Pop this year. Every opportunity she got, she’d attack him. Quite incidentally this started when I returned from Vegas. I went to live in Pop’s room which made CK insanely jealous. She’d visit him at night just to bite him and then leave. I tried to protect him but she was too fast.

HHGutt in exile
Mrs K who CK calls TW messaged CK’s vet to discuss putting CK on Prozac or some calming meds. They discussed Comfort Zone, Essential Oils and Rescue Remedy as well. TW decided to start with the least invasive one for CK. Her and Dr. D decided CK was acting out of misplaced aggression cos she was scared jealous of us stuffies.
It’s a crime the way we’ve been tossed aside and not looked at. We’re just collecting dust and dirt and no one’s cares about us. The kicker here is even though CK did get calmer for a few weeks, she up to her old tricks again. I think it’s that new pillow on the bed.

CK mocking the stuffies that have been banished from the bed
If you’re friends with CK on Facebook, Twitter or can leave a blog comment, please tell her to give amnesty to all stuffies and let us back on the beds again. She has blocked me and mis amigos Mexicano from commenting. Por favor y muchas gracías. Enjoy your day. ¡VIVA EL STUFFIES!

CK: ZZzzzzz … what the hiss just happened??
Can you believe this is going on? Such a terrible event! Be sure to stop by and give HHGutt all the support you can!
On the publicist's blog today you will find a surprise birthday giveaway of Pricilla's soap
Now for the commentathon! To celebrate the publicist's many, many, many, many many, many, many, many ALL RIGHT ALREADY! - the publicist!
Ah hem. To celebrate the publicist's birthday we are having a commentathon for AniMeals in Missoula! For every comment made she will donate $1 to the group (up to $150) so let's make her spend her green papers, OK? One comment per ID....let's have fun!

The Catastic Event, Day 5 - Harry the Farm Cat Shows You How a Farm Cat Lounges on a Peach Industries Cat Lounger
I am sure you know by now that I am one cool Farm cat.
Since I am the BEST mousie hunter on the Farm - not to mention gopher hunter - the publicist makes sure that I am TAKEN CARE OF.
As you all know I was the very lucky cat who won the superb Peach Industries cat lounger when Waffles and Katie had a giveaway a while ago. The publicist thought we would share it - and I will admit that I do sometimes let Sherpa lounge - it is MY lounger. I took possession the minute it arrived and it has been mine ever since.
The very nice people at Peach Industries sent me a spiffy new hammock for my lounger so I now have two - that means that when one is in the wash I don't lose any important lounging time! In the past when I was a poor cat with only one hammock I had to wait endlessly for it to be washed and then dried. There was NO LOUNGING during that eternity. The horror!
My new hammock is a stunning deep amethyst color that complements my furs. The weather has been so lovely lately that Iordered requested my slave the publicist to take it outside so that I could enjoy the warm sun. (Do I have the life or WHAT?)
What is so wonderful about this lounger is that if you want to get out of the sun you can simply lie underneath for a bit. There is plenty of room.
The Peach Industries cat loungers are also VERY well constructed. It holds me quite comfortably, it holds Sherpa who is heavier. It holds the BOTH OF US and I'd be willing to bet it would hold a doggie! It was so easy to put together the publicist did it. ALL BY HERSELF. And trust me, she is hopeless when it comes to putting things together. Sometimes she can't even fold a box!
If you go and visit the Peach Industries Website you will find regular cat loungers like mine and the new and exciting mini cat loungers. I keep meowing to the publicist that we need to get another one but she looks at me and says - where in the devil would be put it Harry? There is no floor space. You can share.
Do you believe this? Share? I can't believe she expects me to.....is that a mousie? Gotta run, when I see a mousie I am ON THE JOB!
If you want to lounge in the most comfortable way I suggest you get yourself a Peach Industries cat lounger. You can also find ParkIt Mats for the doggies in your life. Although my friend Waffles has one and he takes it on picnics in the park!
You can shop at Peach Industries and please follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
We do!
Be sure to head over to the publicist's blog to read a fun Guest Post from Isabella and Angel from Beaded Tail.

Catastic Event, Day 3 - SwiPets Giveaway
I do not want you to think we Farm cats leave our hairs all over the place.
It is not our fault we shed.
It's erm, nature! That's it, NATURE.
That's why our hairs are everywhere.
I'm sure that many of you find cat hairs everywhere too.
In that case this giveaway will be one of your favorites.
It's from a wonderful company called SwiPets and it is for a two pack of their pet hair removal gloves!
The publicist will be showing you how great these gloves are with a review on her blog tomorrow.
I can't imagine why she would think that we would leave a lot of hair around.....
We are not messy cats.
Erm - OK, maybe Sherpa's hair floats down from his excursions.
And OK, maybe we do sleep on the back of the couch despite the numerous cat beds in the yurt.
Whatevs.
And guess what? The SwiPet gloves also remove doggie hair. Not that there is any of that around here. I wonder if it would work on goat hair? Well, you will just have to wait and see, won't you?
You can go to SwiPets and please follow them on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
One lucky reader (US) will win the two pack of the great SwiPet Gloves. Just hop on the Rafflecopter!
Good luck everyone!
a Rafflecopter giveaway
After you have entered the giveaway be sure to head over to the publicist's blog to read all about How to Assemble a Cattino! It's very informative. I don't think the male person would have been able to do it without our assistance.

The Catastic Event, Day 2: Guest Post from Truffles the Cat
Welcome to day 2 of the Catastic Event! Today we are bringing you a guest post from Truffles the cat of Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries and Meows. Truffles came into Melissa's life at a very special time and tells us how kitties can be healers. All of us Farm cats thank Truffles for sharing her story and the publicist will be making a donation to the Blind Cat Rescue in Melissa and Truffles's honor today to thank them for sharing this heartwarming story today.
Hi everybody! Allow me to introduce myself...I am Truffles the tortie, co-blogger at Mochas, Mysteries and Meows. Last week I celebrated a momentous anniversary. One year ago on July 18th my life changed forever. A nice lady found me roaming around her summer camp in the Champlain Islands of Vermont and brought me to the animal shelter. A mere month later my Mommy Melissa saw my picture on Petfinder, fell in love with me and decided to adopt me! I am so, so happy in my forever home and my greatest wish in life is for every homeless kitty to be as loved as I am.
I've heard it said that when you adopt a cat from the shelter you are saving two lives...the cat you're adopting and the next one who will take their place in rescue. But you know what I've discovered? You're actually saving a THIRD life...your own! You see, when I came into Mommy's life her heart was broken. Just six weeks earlier she had suffered the loss of her beloved kitty Tara. Tara had been sick for two years with a variety of serious health issues, and Mommy was exhausted, both physically and emotionally. Coming home everyday to a cat-less house was more than she could bear, and she knew that Tara would want her to open her heart to another kitty. Preferably, another tortie (teehee!). I was the lucky one that she chose, and I made it my mission in life to put a smile on her face every single day. So far I think I'm doing a pretty good job. From the day I came home we've been virtually inseparable.
I love helping Mommy blog about my adventures, and I'm right by her side while she's reading all the books she writes about, too. I'm not famous by any means, but I purr with delight when people tell me how cute I am :) Thanks to our blog I've gotten to try out some pretty cool toys, lots of yummy treats, and most importantly I've made some wonderful friends, both human and feline I want to thank the Farm Cats for inviting me to be a part of their Catastic Event. I love being a kitty blogger and spreading the word about the importance of adopting from your local shelter. You know how humans always say that money can't buy happiness? Not true...it can be bought in the form of an adoption fee!
Wasn't that the nicest of stories?
I think I see Sherpa wiping a tear!
Thank you Truffles I am sure you have made many people want to run to the shelter to adopt their own special pet!
Be sure you head over to the publicist's blog today where there is a GIVEAWAY from Peach Industries for a most excellent Cat Lounger! Actually for TWO loungers - one for you and one for the shelter of the winner's choice!

Welcome to the First Day of the Catastic Event!
Are you all as excited as we are?
Pumpkin can hardly contain himself.
He's rolling around like a crazy cat!
Well, he kind of does this all the time but we'll pretend, OK?
Today I would like to tell you a little bit about AniMeals.
That the is the shelter we are supporting with our commentathon on Friday.
We are also collecting a whole bunch of good stuff to take to them.
AniMeals is in Missoula, Montana. That is where we go to the evil vet when we have to do that.
They are a no kill adoption center and animal food bank.
They have even helped goats and horses and pigs!
They have served over 1.5 million meals in the last five years and saved the lives of countless animals!
They are a 501(c)(3) non profit supported entirely by donations.
As I am sure you are aware all shelters need all the help they can get so we Farm cats and going to help AniMeals. Because we are very lucky cats. We have a home, lots of good food, toys and treats. But most of all we have lots of love. All animals deserve love.
To kick off the big Catastic Event we are happy to present you with a giveaway from the Quaker Pet Group and their division - SuperCat. Sherpa thinks they are talking about him - HA! It's really all about great catnip infused toys for your kitties. SuperCat makes fun catnip infused toys for cats that work a bit like scratch 'n sniff stickers! The line currently has markers, stickers, "caves", crumples, and mini plush toys with Supercat spray for long lasting catnip scent.
I am excited to meow to you that SuperCat is also donating a prize package to AniMeals!
Hooray for Quaker Pet Group!
Now for that giveaway - I know you want to know how to win, right? Well guess what? THREE of you will win! That's right! The very nice people from SuperCat have given us three prize packages worth $50 each!
You can either accept it for your kitties or take it to your local shelter. How exciting is that? It is only open to the US but if you are in another country you can enter for kitty friends in the US or to be sent to a shelter in the US. Just hop on the Rafflecopter - good luck everyone and thank you for visiting on this first day of the Catastic Event!

Now that you have entered the giveaway be sure to head over to the publicist's blog for a very interesting guest post from Jeanne of Random Felines all about fostering kittens. You will enjoy it - I know you will!

Get Ready for the Catastic Event!
I get to go on a blogcation!
The Farm cats will be taking over the blog starting Monday, July 21, all the way through Friday, July 25!
They are joining with the publicist to hold the CATASTIC EVENT!
There will be reviews.
There will be giveaways.
There will be guest posts from FAMOUS BLOGGING CATS!
I will nap.
I will rest up.
I deserve it.
I am, after all an old goat.
I will also eat apples and graze on the tasty weeds around here.
When I come back I will have a nice post about some good stuff the publicist has been giving me and then there will be a full week of Luke the Goat! In all of his studmuffiny glory.
Does that sound like something to look forward to or what?
I am one Happy Goat.
I am going to go sit in the shade now.
I will see you in a little over a week.
Don't miss me too much!

Farm Cat Friday - How Many Farm Cats Do You See?
We were all out grazing the other day.
There is a lot of grazing to do!
I looked over and I saw this:
How many Farm cats do YOU see?
I have goat eyes which are very SHARP!
Here, look a little more closely
Of course you see Sherpa. He is obvious.
Do you see another Farm cat?
Sherpa does.
I do!
Which one?
Why Harry the Farm cat!
He is really hiding in the weeds isn't he?
He looks peaceful there all hidden by the tall grasses, doesn't he?
Uh-oh/ He looks a bit on alert now.
I wonder why?
I should have known!
Run, Harry, RUN!
Sherpa is after you!
The Farm cats are excited to announce another wonderful sponsor for the Catastic Event!
Cattino will be participating.
The Farm cats will be showing you just how much fun a Cattino can be!
All of us here on the Farm would like to wish a great big Congratulations to Gabe and Justina - Katie and Waffles' brother and soon to be sister in law as they get married tomorrow. The cats meow, the goats maaaa, the chickens bauck and the humans sing - best wishes to the happy couple!

Farm Cat Friday - Silly Sherpa
The publicist says that Sherpa is a Flirty Cat.
Most mornings when she heads back into the yurt from letting us out of the barn he greets her like this:
I guess he is a bit of a flirt.
What do you think?
He follows her along as she walks to the steps.
But not walking on his paws.
What do I mean?
Well, watch!
If you cannot see the movie you can watch it on YouTube HERE
Isn't he a silly kitty?
He has exciting news for you about the Catastic Event (July 21 - 25)!
There will be a giveaway from another one of our wonderful Sponsors - SwiPets!
The publicist loves her SwiPets glove. She says with all of the cat hair in the yurt she needs a legion of hands wearing them to get it all but it's miraculous how much hair ONE glove picks up!
Wait 'til you see it in action!

Farm Cat Friday - Sherpa is Hard at Work
Sherpa here!
I really must meow that I am one hard working Farm cat.
In fact, I think I am the ONLY hard working Farm cat around this place.
I am here blogging away to tell you about a BIG EXCITING CATASTIC EVENT and where are the other Farm cats? Well, I'll meow you where!
They are sleeping!
SLEEPING!
When there is so much work to be done.
Srsly Harry. Can you not even open one eye to help me-out here? Too much time chasing mousies?
Sheeesh.
And Stinky? Exactly what is it YOU do all day?
It seems to me NAPPING is what you do all day.
CAN YOU HEAR ME IN THERE?
I have a big meow-ncement. It concerns all of us.
We will ALL have to work.
It's for a Good Cause!
At least Pumpkin is awake.
Are you ready to work, Pumpkin?
How about you Harry?
Harry?!
HARRY!
Good heavens.
I guess I am going to have to do all the meowing myself.
So here goes!
I am very happy to announce...
It is a week long celebration on our blog and the publicist's blog.
It will take place from July 21 - 25 and there will be reviews and giveways of great cat products.
There will be giveways for your favorite shelter.
We will have guest posts from Famous Blogging Cats.
AND we will be fundraising for our favorite shelter, AniMeals in Missoula, MT.
The Event ends on the publicist's birthday where we will have a commentathon.
As it gets closer I will meow to you all of the great companies participating.
Are you excited?
If you are a Famous Blogging Cat and would like to join in the fun just let ME know because the other Farm cats are likely to be asleep. If you have a cat related product and would like to be featured you can contact the publicist for information (kaiminani at gmail dot com) and scheduling but get to her quickly because from what she tells me it's filling up fast!
Whew!
I think after all that hard work I deserve a nap myself.
WHAT?
What? What is wrong with how I sleep?
Why is everyone laughing?
