AbbyDay - I am Pleased to Introduce My New Kid, Flash the Goat!

It's AbbyDay, the best day of the week. And this is the bestest of the best of AbbyDays because I am bringing you a new generation of Abbygoats!

I had my kid yesterday.
This is Flash the goat.
Everyone was surprised that there was only one kid in there.

I was one big goat!
But that is how it goes sometimes.
I was also one hungry goat - BUUUUUUURP!

The publicist knew on Sunday that I would soon have a new kid but he did not arrive until some time on Monday.

I surprised her when she came into the barn!
There was little Flash already born and cleaned up.
Wasn't that nice of me?
And she says I'm the mean goat!
Pffffft! I showed her!

My little Flash is very cute if I do say so myself.
He has one long white stripe on on side - that is how he got his name.

And a chicken like splotch on the other.

Almost like Brewster the goat's chicken splotch.
Isn't that funny?

There will be much more of little Flash to come.
It seems he takes after his nanny - check out that look!

Oh, Pricilla wanted to say thank you to everyone who said she could come to stay with them. If I could I would ship her there myself.
Oh, did I maaaa that out loud?

More Baaaaaaad Goats

You will recall that we left Sarah the goat eating hay in the hay pile.

Baaaaaad Sarah!
The publicist, erm encouraged Sarah to leave the hay pile.

It took some discussion but she finally did

jump

down.
Stopping for a munch along the way.

Silly Sarah!

But in spite of the publicist yelling at her she did not immediately go the doe pen as she should have.

No she did not!
She and Abby were baaaaaaad goats.

They went into the male person's garden!
Sarah ate the male person's carrots!

The male person was not happy.
Sarah and Abby FINALLY went to the doe pen but they did not get their grain treat.

I did!

GOATS GONE WILD!

You saw yesterday that Abbygoat looked a little bit crazy.
Not that Abbygoat isn't always a little bit crazy but she looked downright MAD.
Mad as in certifiable.

What caused this?
Well, I am going to tell you.

The publicist heard a lot of noise when she was in the yurt.
She looked out the window and she saw GOATS GONE WILD.
Not me mind you. I am not a WILD goat. I am an old goat.

But this is what she saw:

Goats on the onion drying table.

Goats jumping off the onion drying table.

Goats butting goats on the onion drying table.

Goats running.

Goats leaping.

Goats challenging other goats.

It was CRAZY.
Abbygoat was in a duel with Sarah the goat.
That is what that charge was all about.
I do not know what caused it but boy, was it a BATTLE.

And all of this occurred when it was very, very hot.
The publicist thought we had all gone mad.
Well, not me.
I am a very sane goat.

She wants you to know she took all these photos through a window in the yurt so they are not perfect.

I Set Thelma and Louise on Nora the Goat!

Maahamaahamaahahahaha!
Nora the goat thought she could take MY favorite basking spot and have nothing happen!
I will teach her!
I sent my grandkids to "play" with her.

She thought she was going to sit quietly in the sun.
heh

Nora looks a little frustrated, doesn't she?

Thelma and Louise are active little kids and they like to run and play.
So I told them to run around the goat house.

And to say "Maaaa!" to Nora the goat.
Nora was NOT amused.

But that did not stop the kids!
Oh no!

They still wanted to play.
But then Nora stood up!

Uh-oh!
Time for the big goat!

Abby had a little, erm chat with Nora the goat.

Nora found a new place to bask.

Far, far away from little kids.
And Abby the goat.

Silly Sunday - This Chicken Had Better Watch Out

The rest of us does were just standing around when we saw this

Uh-oh!
That hen had better watch out.
Does it not realize it is on ABBY'S back?!

Stupid chicken!
Would you want to mess around with THIS Goat Stare of Death?!

Not to mention that she is just about due to have her kid(s) and she is a bit, erm, cranky.

We are about to start our Goat Yoga class so that chicken had better hop to!

Whew!
A relaxed Abby is a nicer Abby.

Now we can ALL enjoy our yoga class.

Abby is Getting Cranky

Well, Abby is always cranky but she is even crankier now that she is getting close to having her kid(s). I mean she is getting to be an erm, big goat.

heh heh
You didn't hear ME say that.
Otherwise she would butt me.
Again!

If you look closely at her horns you will see MY fur stuck on her horns.

Do you know how it got there?
Of course!
She butt me!
She butt me several times.

So my shaggy underfur that I am shedding is now stuck on her horns.

She looks so funny.
Ha ha ha to her.
That's what she gets for butting me!

Happy President's Day to all of you humans out there. I hope you enjoy your day off if you have one.

Apples? Did Someone Say APPLES?!

When the publicist came out to take us to the barn for the night she had something in her hands. It was a BIG bowl. It was a big bowl of something that smelled really, really good.

IT WAS A BIG BOWL OF

APPLES!
Are we lucky goats or what?

But then she did not come over to the doe pen.
She went over to my studmuffin.
He likes apples too....

Can you tell?
Oh, he wanted those apples.

He knew how good they were going to taste.
We had not had apples in a while so these were a real treat.
He tried his hardest.

He was going to taste one if it was the last thing he did.
Reach, reach....

Oh! He got the bowl!
Bummer.

Then the publicist went up to the barn with the bowl of precious apples.
Abby was waiting by the gate, ready to run.

Apples?
Apples, apples, apples, apples!
We were all maaaaaing for apples!
