Brewster Gets to Explore

Little Brewster was able to escape the publicist for a bit and explore around the Farm a little.
I guess we were all being baaaaad goats this week.

I took him over to where the good grass was growing and he played King of the Hill.

I know I complained about him but he is a cute little guy.
He then took off on his own to see what he could see.

He was very interested in the old weed bush we goats had been eating all summer.
It doesn't have any leaves any longer but he didn't care.

He checked it out.

He even went deep inside the weed bush to see what was there.

You can hardly see him!
The publicist caught up with him after he came out and he then had to go back to the goat pen.  I think he had fun on his first big adventure.

AbbyDay - Who Cares What the Publicist Says?

Not me!
The publicist was bringing us down from the barn and I spotted some tasty grass.
I haven't had tasty grass in a while so I ran over to it and started to munch.

It was delicious.
The publicist was yelling something about me getting in my pen but I ignored her.
Did I mention the grass was tasty?

Why haven't I had tasty grass in a while you ask?
Well, it has nothing to do with me breaking into the chicken house and eating their grain every time I was let loose to graze.
I don't care what the publicist says.
That wasn't me.
That was some other black goat.

So I just kept on grazing.

I didn't listen to her saying things I cannot repeat on a family blog.
I didn't care about all the things she had to get done.
I wanted to eat the tasty grass.
So there publicist.

So there.
Catch me if you can!

The Publicist is Making Me Work Hard

I will tell you. I thought when the publicist told me I was going to be retired it meant I was
going to have lots of days like this...

Ha!
She is really putting me to work.
Seems SHE needs a new pot so I have to do more ReviewGoating for CSNStores.com
Harumph!

I better get something good out of this.
Like a whole POT of apples.

Or even better - how about wardrobes full of apples.
Now THAT would be something.
How many apples do you think this one would hold?

Not to mention the fact that it is pine - one of my favorite woods to munch.
It could do double duty - apple holder AND snack all at the same time!

I like this one too. I think it's big enough I can stuff Abby in there and then not have to worry about getting butt all the time.

Just don't tell the publicist I said that, OK? I don't think she'd like that.
But there are times I would really like Abby to disappear. The wardrobe is black. Abby is black. Who would know?

Maybe I should get back to my grazing....

Don't forget that the publicist has a giveaway going on right now for a $65.00 Gift Card to CSNStores.com on her blog. You should go and enter!

Disclosure: The publicist gets all the good stuff from my hard work. I get apples. Not that apples aren't good but I don't get the gift card. She does. Gift cards don't taste good. Especially electronic ones - they are invisible and have no taste at all.

Who's Blog is This?

I don't mean to sound like an AbbyGoat whiner but I am starting to wonder if this is still my blog.
It seems that little Brewster has stolen everyone's heart.
I can understand that.

He is cute AND he is my grandkid.
But THIS IS MY BLOG.

OK. It is hard to resist photos like this...

Especially since Brewster is becoming such a little camera hog.
And the publicist is not used to having kids at this time of year.
I can see that she would like taking pictures of cute kids and not old mature goats.

But he even has the male person snowed.
Just look! When we were working on my review yesterday look at what little Brewster did...

He was trying to distract the male person from working with ME.
I don't know about this.
I don't know at all.

Today I am a ReviewGoat - Wrought Iron Fireset from CSNStores.com

As you all know I have retired from being a milk goat so I needed something to do with my spare time.  I am still a SpokesGoat but I needed something more.

So I am a ReviewGoat. I like to try new things and besides the publicist gives me extra treats for being a ReviewGoat and I like THAT very much.

I told the publicist that I am an old goat and I get a little chilly when I am in my goat house.
I told her I wanted a fireplace.
In my goat house.

I am not a crazy goat.
I just want to be a warm goat.
If I am going to have a fireplace I need a Fireset
A Five Piece Wrought Iron Fireset by Uniflame

I know a good place to get one too - CSNStores.com! They have over 200 online stores where you can find just about anything you need for the home and office.

The publicist also needed a fireset - what a coincidence! We can fight over it.
The male person brought it out to my goat house

I looked at him and said you silly man, not this goat house.

But then Mallory had to go and check it out.
This is MY review Mallory, not yours!

Come on, male person. Move that fireset to the big goat house where you are going to build me a fireplace - hint hint.

That's better.
Doesn't it look nice against my beautiful goat house?
Don't you think I deserve a fireplace to keep me warm in the mornings?
I think so.

Hey Abby! Get out of here. This is MY review!
I don't know what it is about these goats.

I am very happy with this fireset. It is very sturdy. The male person has been using it in his house until I get my fireplace built and he told me that he likes it very much. He said that it is easy for him to use and it is very strong.

Now I just have to learn to work it with my hooves.
AND find someone to build me that fireplace.

Any takers?

Disclosure:  The publicist received a gift code to purchase me this fireset from CSNStores.com but it's really for her. She did give me some apples to help her with this review. I like apples and they didn't make me say nice things about the fireset. I really did like it. I think it would come in handy for hitting Abby over the head...did I type that?

The publicist will be reviewing another great product from CSNStores.com on her blog tomorrow and she will also have a giveaway so maybe YOU could buy a fireset to hit Abby over the head. Then I wouldn't get blamed...

ps:  I know I can't have a fireplace in my goat house. All that hay. But maybe if I work up enough goat gas I won't need one. heh heh

Silly Sunday

Note the corn stalk. In flight meal?

Sometimes there is nothing crazier than a new kid...
who thinks he can fly.

Silly Brewster!

Be sure to come back tomorrow when I will not be silly. I will be have my ReviewGoat hat on and tell you all about a very cool product from CSNStores.com

I am a good ReviewGoat.
The best in fact!

Splat!

As you have seen little Brewster likes to hop into the hay feeder.
While there he does eat some hay and explore the feeder...

But he also tries to climb on his nanny.

I am not sure how Sarah feels about this but all of us who have had kids have had kids try to climb on us. You will all remember my hopping Kevin.

Little Brewster was very determined this one day. He was going to climb on Sarah's back
no matter what!

But it was not meant to be...
SPLAT!

Poor little Brewster.

AbbyDay - The Publicist Takes Good Care of ME!

It's Friday so that means it's AbbyDay!
My favorite day of the week.

As you know the publicist has been giving us corn stalks.
What you don't know is how the publicist takes care of ME.

She gives me my own very special pile of corn stalks.
It's right there - see it?

That way I can eat in peace without all the other pesky goats bothering me.
It has nothing to do with ME bothering the other goats.
Oh no!

I really enjoy my corn stalks and I take my time eating them.

Boy are they tasty!
The publicist sure knows how to treat a diva goat.

I just stand here and eat my fill.

Although I think it's time to just let me enjoy my corn stalks now.
I am tired of the paparazzi.

I have special news! The Nanny Goats in Panties calendar which you can buy through the widget on the left is now 30% off. Even though I don't star in it I think any calendar with goats is a good thing.  You just need to use the code 2011CALENDAR at checkout.  This is good through 11/3 so hurry!

Silly Brewster!

As you all know we goats go up to the barn every night.
We each have a special place to sleep.
I have to share a pen with Abby.

That is a topic for another blog post.

Today I want to tell you about silly little Brewster.
He goes into his pen with his nanny, Sarah.
Then he has taken to hopping into the food trough!

Does he think he is goat grain?

Then he settles down for the night and goes to sleep.
The photo the publicist took of him resting did not come out so you will have to imagine.
What a funny little kid.

I guess he feels it is just his size so it should be a goat bed.
Silly Brewster!

Brewster Has His First Taste of Corn Stalk

When the publicist first brought the corn stalks into the pen we goats got very excited.
I think this might have scared little Brewster a bit because he did this...

That's right!
He hopped into the hay feeder.
I think he felt safer there.

But he soon joined in with the rest of us to enjoy the tasty treat.
He went first with his nanny so she could show him how to enjoy the stalk.

This time Sarah was a good maaaammy and shared with little Brewster.
She is sometimes forgetful about having a kid.
I am working with her and reminding her that she has to take care of him.

She shared her stalk with him which was nice.

Then Brewster went off on his own to find some more to eat.
Nora the goat didn't like where he was looking.

It was HER pile!

He eventually found a safe spot and dug deep to find some stalk.

Success!

I would say he really enjoyed his first taste of corn stalk.
I am sure it won't be his last.

Where Was I When the Corn Came Out?

As I told you yesterday the publicist brought some tasty corn stalks into the goat pen.
But as she put the piles of stalks around she went looking for me.
She wanted to make sure I would have a nice pile all my own.

Isn't that nice of her?

But I wasn't in the goat pen!
Where was I?
I was in the mulch pile!

Stop bothering me. I'm busy
Why was I there instead of eating tasty corn?
Because there are APPLES in the mulch pile!

Can't you take a hint?!
The publicist yelled at me to get back in the pen.
She said they were old apples.
She said they were "fermented."
She said I would get tipsy.

I didn't know what this meant.
I just wanted the APPLES.

APPLES. APPLES. APPLES.
I love APPLES.
Even more than corn stalks!

But the publicist made me go eat some corn.
I shared with Nora the goat who was very nice to me.

I ate some on my own.

Then I snuck back to the mulch pile.
APPLES!

The publicist found me again and said I needed appleholics anonymous.
Harumph! I told her.

Har(hic)umph!

Be sure to check out the giveaway on the publicist's blog!
She is giving away a Nanny Goats in Panties 2011 Calendar starring Luke the goat and Harry the goat!  You can find all of the details HERE

Or if you really want one NOW you can click on the widget on the left side of my blog and get one for a 25% discount with the code "FALLCALENDAR"

I don't get anything for telling you about the calendar. I had hoped for some apples but after the publicist's appleholics comment I am not so sure. Tell her I deserve some OK?
