Farm Cat Friday, Erm Saturday - Sherpa Shows He Knows How to Relax

Hi everyone.
Sherpa the Farm cat here.
I am chillaxin'
I am very good at it.

I know it is Saturday, not Friday but we are a day late because of Sparkle's Memorial. I hope you all went and left a comment. Pricilla went and represented all of us.

I like to sit on the publicist's bench and see what goes by. I never know what I might find.
Is that a birdie?
I am not allowed to have birdie.
The publicist yells at me.

Is that a mousie?
I am encouraged to catch mousies!
I guess I am not really relaxing, am I?

Well somecat has to keep an eye on things around this Farm.
And that cat is ME!

In fact I think it's time for me to do a walkabout.
I have to make sure that everything is safe and sound
And I am going to find that mousie.
Mmmmm, mousie.

Luke the Goat is One Fine Goat

Luke is feeling neglected.
He maaaas that no one pays any attentions to him.
He is all alone and hardly gets any blog time.
He put his hoof down and demanded a day on the blog.

I am just fine with that since I think my studmuffin is one Fine goat!

Don't you agree?
Even when he is just chillaxin' under his spool he is a handsome boy.

The publicist took these pictures back before all of our tasty grass dried up.
We have not had rain for a while so it is now all brown and crunchy.

But Luke sure enjoyed eating it.
So did the rest of us.
Now we are eating the knapweed and its purple flowers.
Buuuuurp!

My Luke is not exactly a dainty eater but that is OK.
I still love him.

How could you NOT love that face?
But he is MINE!
And don't you forget it!

Sherpa the Farm Cat is a Swinger!

As I mentioned yesterday, we have been enjoying some bright and sunny days.
Days that are perfect for relaxing in the sun.
But we goats take our duties seriously and we are not relaxing - oh no!
We are basking our little goat hearts out!

Not like Farm cat Sherpa.
He is a lazy boy.
I mean, just look at this...

Photobucket

Can you believe it?
He thinks he is a human!

Photobucket

He is chillaxing in the publicist's hammock.
That is not place for a Farm cat.

Photobucket

But he sure does look comfortable, doesn't he?
Even so, he does not stop watching what is going on...

Photobucket

whether it is under him -

Photobucket

or around him.

Photobucket

He is a good Farm cat.

But perhaps a sleepy one!
Sherpa had a little nap in the hammock and then he decided it was time for him to get to
his Farm cat duties.

Whatever they are...
So he stretched and took his time leaving the hammock.

Photobucket

As anyone knows who has ever used a hammock.

Photobucket

It is not always easy or graceful when it's time to get out.

Photobucket

But Sherpa did just fine.
He is an experienced hammock user.

Silly Sherpa!

I hope that you are enjoying your days and taking some time to relax.
Hmmm, I wonder if a goat can get in a hammock?
