Farm Cat Friday - The Cherry Box; Who Wears it Better?

The publicist got some cherries.
The cherries came in a box.
We all know cats LOVE boxes.....

Sherpa was first in the new box.
The publicist keeps several different boxes around the house for him because he is a spoiled cat so he can hop in one whenever he likes.

But then Harry decided to try out the box.

Harry is not as much of a box cat as Sherpa so the publicist was surprised to see him in the cherry box.
As you can see - so was Sherpa!

Silly Farm cats!
That box looks tasty to me.

Farm Cat Friday - Biting Box of Orange?

You all saw Sherpa the Farm cat in his new box.
That Sherpa!
He does love his boxes!

I am sure this is not like any box of oranges any of you have seen before.

Farm Cat Friday - No Box Too Small, No Cat Too Big

The box wars continue on the Happy Goats Farm.
Not with us goats - oh no!
If we were given boxes we would simply munch them 'til they were gone.

It's those silly Farm cats Sherpa and Harry.
The publicist was getting a soap order ready to ship and she emptied out one of the boxes she was using to store soap.

AN EMPTY BOX?
What was a cat to do?

But this was a small box and Sherpa is a BIG cat.
Did that matter? NO!

He was going to stuff himself in that box no matter what!
And it took some stuffing.

He was rather proud of his cat self.

But when the publicist and male person starting telling him he was a touch erm, fluffy for that box he ignored them! He liked his new box and that was that.

In fact, his tail told the whole story:

as cats' tails always do.

That silly Sherpa stayed in that box for so long the publicist thought he was STUCK!
But no! He eventually hopped out.

He then went and visited Harry in HIS box....

Harry is no foolcat!

Farm Cat Friday - Breaking News!

It's Farm Cat Friday and we have breaking news!
Sherpa the Farm cat is STILL in his box!

You will recall that Sherpa occupied a new box.

But that is not the Breaking News!
Sherpa's box is now on the Ham-mick!

Would you sleep in a box. In a box on a Ham-mick?
This is too much excitement for this old goat.
NOT!

Silly Sherpa!
He looks happy enough even though I think he is bursting out of his box.

Farm Cat Friday - What's In the Box?

The publicist brought the male person a box.

She put it in his lap.
What do you suppose was in it?
Do you really think she would put a box full of buffalo in the male person's lap?
She's silly but I don't think she is THAT silly.


He thinks she's just plain crazy and even he knew it wasn't a box o'bison.
He felt something MOVING in the box.

SHERPA THE FARM CAT!
What was he doing in the box?
Silly kitty.

He jumped in the box in the basement and the publicist thought it would be funny to give it to the male person.
(You see now that he is right to think she is crazy!)


The thing is though, Sherpa did not leave the box!

He stayed in the box on the male person's lap for quite some time.
He seemed rather happy in the box.
Any time the male person told him he needed to leave Sherpa gave him.....

....the Farm cat Stare of Death!
Hmmmm.
Who's crazy?

Farm Cat Friday - There Once Was a Box

There once was a box.

Then there was a cat in the box.

There was a discussion over ownership of the box.

Somecat might or might not have meowed, "talk to the paw."

Further "discussions" ensued.

A detente was called.

But somecat remained unconvinced as to this result.

Farm Cat Friday - All Boxed In

I want to report that this is not the post I wanted to write!
The publicist is having technical difficulties with photobucket so she could not upload photos so I had to improvise.


It is good I am a clever goat!


You know how cats love boxes, right?
Well this is a story of two cats and a very BIG box.

Sherpa and Harry the Farm cats were checking out a box that the male person left lying around. Silly male person. He should know that if he leaves a box that cats will not be far behind!

This was not just any box - oh no! This was a loooooooooooooooooooong box. 
Harry went in.

Sherpa went on.

This made Harry a bit nervous. He did not want to get squished.

So he rushed out.
But that Harry got to thinking.
He thought that box was a great hide-out.
So when Sherpa went on his way....

Harry went back in. He figured he had a good attack spot in there.

Plus he did look really cute.
Hopefully next week the publicist will have sorted out her problems with photobucket and I can have the Farm cats give you their review of a great new product that takes out the smell of Stinky in the litter box.


She really erm, stinks up the place.
