A Big Welcome For Bernadette the Goat

We were all enjoying our Tuesday basking in the sun when we heard loud noises coming from the goathouse.

Even the chickens were wondering what was going on in there.
It WAS loud.
I'm not kidding.

But Louise was.
Bwamaaaahahahaha!
I am one funny goat!

I have a new great grandkid.

I am very pleased to introduce you to Bernadette the goat.
Isn't she erm, wet?
Just wait, she cleans up really cute.

It takes a bit of licking to get all the ick off.

It's hard work having a kid.
I remember even if it's been a few years.

Louise is a very good nanny.
She licked and licked and licked some more until little Bernadette was all clean, dry and fluffy.

Then she gave her a kiss.
Awwww, how sweet.

I think little Bernadette is going to like it here.
She's smiling already.

Please Welcome Marion the Goat

We had exciting times in the barn last night!
Mallory the goat had her kid!
And we were all in the barn to experience it.

Boy can that Mallory Maaaaaa!

But that is neither here nor there.
I would like you to meet the new kid on the Farm -
Marion the Goat!

That's right we have a new doe.
She is a big girl too!

She is all black but the publicist thinks some brown might come in around her eyes and face.

We are all very happy to have her here and we congratulate Mallory the goat and Luke the goat!

A Surprise

The publicist came into the barn this morning and she found a surprise. When she looked into Mallory and Jillian's pen there was a kid in the water bucket!  She rushed in the pen and got the kid out and was looking to see if it was Jeffrey or Emily.

That is when she found her second surprise.

It wasn't Jeffrey and it wasn't Emily.

Mallory had her kid in the middle of the night and she didn't let on to anyone that she was in labor!

So, please, everyone let's have a big, warm and DRY welcome to Matthew the goat!

He is ALL BLACK. There is not a bit of white on him anywhere.

Doesn't he have a cute little face?

Here he gets a bit confused about where he should be getting his milk. But that's OK, I don't mind.

I just want to give him a big lick! You can see that Mallory is a very protective nanny.

This is a Farm just full of surprises, isn't it? Even the publicist doesn't always know what is going on!

Tomorrow: Kids, Kids and more Kids. Seriously!
