Can an Old Goat Still be an Active Goat? Let's Find Out with #SomaPet

Don't I look like a happy goat?
My skin and coat are healthy and  shiny.
I'm smiling.
Wait 'til you learn why.

Remember when I maaaaed to you that I thought the publicist was up to something? I was a little suspicious of all of the apples I was getting. EVERY DAY she was bringing me delicious, tasty apples.

What I didn't know is that she was giving me something to help me feel younger and to make my furs healthier and shinier at the same time! SomaPet is a mix of EIGHT amino acids in a 100% natural powder that was deeloped by Dr. Philip White to help his doggie. He wanted something to make aging joints feel better. To make us older pets feel more lively.

When you give it to your pets you do so by weight. Since I am over 50lbs (a ladygoat does not share her true weight! Harumph!) the publicist put two scoops on my apples. I did not even know it was there! I did not taste any difference from normal apples. That publicist is sneaky, isn't she?

The publicist used the SomaPet until it ran out. The tub (which retails for $49.95) lasted just short of a month. When I started it was June and I will admaaa-t that I was having trouble shedding my winter underfurs. The publicist had been brushing me and brushing me but my underfurs were not all coming out. She was worried that I would be too hot since the temperatures were rising into the 90ies which was early in the year for Montana.

I am happy to maaaa to you that after using the SomaPet my furs are so much improved! All of my underfurs came out in short order and they are now very soft and shiny. They have gotten even better since this photo was taken. The publicist and I are very happy with this result. There really must be something to this Pet Science stuff!

I am an old goat. I admaaa-t it. I am 18 years old. Goats of my breed have an average life expectancy of ::GASP:: 18 years! The last year or so the publicist has noted that I have been moving a lot more slowly and my gait has been stiff.  You can see in the movie that there is a difference between the before and after sections. I am definitely moving a little more easily and I have a big smile on my face.

The publicist was happy with how the SomaPet worked for me and she wishes that she had the green papers to give it to me all the time. That was the ONLY thing she wishes she could change. She said that since I am a retired goat and I don't give her any milk any more I am not making any green papers. Harumph! I blog, don't I? I am a Famous SpokesGoat! That has to be worth something! I am going to have a long maaaaa with her. Sometimes she drives me crazy.

But for now I will just enjoy feeling a bit like a 15 year old goat again. That's something, right?

Farm Cat Friday - We Are Happy The Publicist is Back from BlogPaws and We Have a Giveaway!

Harry the Farm cat here. As you all know I'm pretty much the SpokesCat around these parts.
I want to meow to you that we are all happy that the publicist is back from that BlogPaws place.
The male person is OK but he does not wait on us hand and paw understand us cats like the publicist does.
He does what HE wants WHEN he wants.
Can you imagine?
It's supposed to be on OUR schedule.

Whatever. Now that the cat slave the publicist is back things are back to the way they are supposed to be. She brought us a LOT of fun stuff I have to meow that. So much stuff that we want to share some of it with you kitties whose humans didn't get to go to BlogPaws.

So come along with me and let me meow to you all about it. The weather has been beautiful here and I've been spending a lot of my time out on the deck. I will ad-meow-it that I can be a greedy cat and I didn't at first agree with the publicist.

But she convinced me that I and the other Farm cats are very, very lucky and we could share. After much petting and the consumption of many treats I have agreed with her and we are going to give away what you see here:

Plus maybe some other surprises. Since the publicist is cheap claims that shipping is expensive I can only offer the giveaway to my furriends in the US. I am sure that there are many of you that would like some yummy treats, food and a mousie. I have not eaten its brains - just so you know.

I am going to relax a bit, have a bath and contemplate my life as a Farm cat.

Or maybe go and look for a post dinner mousie brain snack.
I'm sure you want to know how to win, though, don't you?
I'm going to make it really easy!

If you want to enter just say so in the comments and name the cat for whom you are entering.
I will help the publicist pick the winner next week on Farm Cat Friday (5/23/14).
Sound good?

Wordy Wednesday - I Have Been Immortalized by Famous Artist BZTAT

I was wrong! I was wrong!
The publicist DID bring me home a present from BlogPaws!
She won the most wonderful prize.

I should have known she would not forget me while she was gone.
I should have known.
She LOVES me!

There was a BRILLIANT artist there - BZTAT and she was giving away digital artwork. When the publicist won instead of picking one of the Farm cats to immortalize SHE CHOSE ME!

Isn't it beautiful!
I just love it! I wish I could hang it in my goat house but the publicist says that I would probably just eat it if she printed it off. She is probably right. I do like a nice snack. BURP.

The publicist is thrilled too.
She couldn't believe she had won such a wonderful prize.

If you would like to have your pet painted by a famous artist you can contact BZTAT on her website or find her on Twitter, Pinterest or Facebook.

I am now even more famous than I was before, aren't I.
Thank you BZTAT for making me look so young and beautiful.
I AM a Happy Goat.

The Publicist Slept with WHAT?

I have heard rumors.
Baaaaaaad rumors.
About the publicist.
You know she left us and went to BlogPaws but I did not maaaa to you where it was.

IT WAS IN LAS VEGAS!
And you know what they say about that place - "What happens in Vegas STAYS in Vegas."
But I am going to ignore that and maaaaa to you exactly what happened in Vegas.

The Farm cats are especially unhappy.
Do you know why?

THE PUBLICIST SLEPT WITH ANOTHER CAT!
It's true.
I would not lie.

What cat you ask?
WAFFLES the cat.
He is on her bed here....

SEE!
He does not care that the Farm cats might be jealous.
He does not care that he is in the publicist's spot!

HE DOES NOT CARE!
He even tried to take over the publicist's drawer.

He didn't want her clothes in there.
He wanted it to be a Waffles bed.

I don't understand cats.
Or humans for that matter.
The publicist thought this was FUNNY.

But after all of this the publicist tried to pack Waffles AND BRING HIM HOME TO THE FARM!
Can you imagine?
We do not need 6 Farm cats.

Although he is kind of cute.
Especially when he is in his WaffleWagon.

The publicist had a lot of fun at BlogPaws and she brought home some great stuff for the Farm Cats. They will tell you all about it later in the week. She brought NOTHING home for me. Harumph!

She did tell me some great news - our very good friend Glogirly won TWO Nose to Nose Awards! Two of them - one for Best Cat Blog and one for Best Design. All of us here congratulate her and know that she deserved them both 'cause she is a brilliant blog designer.

The Publicist is Home!

We are of course, happy to see her.
Not that we are going to let her know.
We are a touch annoyed she left us with the male person as you know.

We are giving her our backs.
We will be nice to her again tomorrow.

I am sure she will tell us all about the FUN she had while she was away.
How she can even have fun without us is beyond me.
Harumph!

While the Publicist is Away....

The publicist is away.
She has abandoned us to go to BlogPaws.
(I don't know why it is not BlogHooves)
She has left the male person to take care of us.
As if!
He's nice and all but he just doesn't take care of us like the publicist does.
So I am on strike.

I am going to just sit and do nothing until she gets back.
What do you think?

I do not think he will notice me here anyway.
I am hiding.
With my brown furs I blend in.

And the weed tree gives me cover.
He'll never know I"m here.
Right?
