I Cannot Believe It!

I feel like such a special goat!
I have such wonderful friends.
Guess what I got in the mail?

Go ahead, guess.
It has made me smile.

You are right!
ANOTHER tub of SomaPet!
I am so lucky to have friends like I do.
Friends that care about this old goat.

I now have another month of feeling a little more limber and lively.
The publicist says she is saving her pennies and with my nice friends she will get my next tub.
That will be so wonderful.

I am going to sit in my goathouse and think about how good I will feel for the next two months.
I thank you my friend.
I truly appreciate your sending me such a special present.
I name you an honorary Happy Goat!

Someone Sent Me a Present!

It's true!
I would not lie.
Let me start a while back.

You will recall that the publicist was giving me apples every day.
It turned out it was a way for her to give me SomaPet - a way to perk up my old bones.
The publicist mentioned that she didn't have enough green papers to buy me any more.
Well someone sent me some in the mail!

Isn't that very nice?
When the publicist showed me I couldn't believe it!
I was a happy and humbled goat.

Thank you mystery SomaPet sender.

I am enjoying it on my apples in the morning.
(The publicist still gave me apples even though she did not have the SomaPet.)

I do love apples.
They are very tasty.
Don't you agree?
Now I eat them and I can happily trot down to my pen.

Although I seem to always be followed by a chicken.
I think they want my grain.

But what they don't know is that it is ORGANIC grain.
Yes, we have switched over so that we are all on fully organic feed.
We goats and the chickens too.
Whether we like it or not.

Actually I will maaaa you a secret.
Do not tell the male person.
We all actually LIKE the organic feed.
We won't eat the old feed now. If the publicist gives it to us we turn our noses up at it.

We are cantankerous goats, aren't we.
Well, somegoat has to keep that male person on his toes.
Why not let it be me.

So now that I have had my delicious apples, my energizing SomaPet and my healthy organic grain I am going to smile and sit in the sun.
That chicken is eating my grain isn't it?

Stupid bird.

Can an Old Goat Still be an Active Goat? Let's Find Out with #SomaPet

Don't I look like a happy goat?
My skin and coat are healthy and  shiny.
I'm smiling.
Wait 'til you learn why.

Remember when I maaaaed to you that I thought the publicist was up to something? I was a little suspicious of all of the apples I was getting. EVERY DAY she was bringing me delicious, tasty apples.

What I didn't know is that she was giving me something to help me feel younger and to make my furs healthier and shinier at the same time! SomaPet is a mix of EIGHT amino acids in a 100% natural powder that was deeloped by Dr. Philip White to help his doggie. He wanted something to make aging joints feel better. To make us older pets feel more lively.

When you give it to your pets you do so by weight. Since I am over 50lbs (a ladygoat does not share her true weight! Harumph!) the publicist put two scoops on my apples. I did not even know it was there! I did not taste any difference from normal apples. That publicist is sneaky, isn't she?

The publicist used the SomaPet until it ran out. The tub (which retails for $49.95) lasted just short of a month. When I started it was June and I will admaaa-t that I was having trouble shedding my winter underfurs. The publicist had been brushing me and brushing me but my underfurs were not all coming out. She was worried that I would be too hot since the temperatures were rising into the 90ies which was early in the year for Montana.

I am happy to maaaa to you that after using the SomaPet my furs are so much improved! All of my underfurs came out in short order and they are now very soft and shiny. They have gotten even better since this photo was taken. The publicist and I are very happy with this result. There really must be something to this Pet Science stuff!

I am an old goat. I admaaa-t it. I am 18 years old. Goats of my breed have an average life expectancy of ::GASP:: 18 years! The last year or so the publicist has noted that I have been moving a lot more slowly and my gait has been stiff.  You can see in the movie that there is a difference between the before and after sections. I am definitely moving a little more easily and I have a big smile on my face.

The publicist was happy with how the SomaPet worked for me and she wishes that she had the green papers to give it to me all the time. That was the ONLY thing she wishes she could change. She said that since I am a retired goat and I don't give her any milk any more I am not making any green papers. Harumph! I blog, don't I? I am a Famous SpokesGoat! That has to be worth something! I am going to have a long maaaaa with her. Sometimes she drives me crazy.

But for now I will just enjoy feeling a bit like a 15 year old goat again. That's something, right?
