Farm Cat Friday - Just Who do You Think Supervised the Skylight Repair?

It is very nice for everyone that the skylight is fixed.
There was a supervisor on the job.
WHAT?!
You thought the male person was in charge?

Silly readers!
Here is who was in charge:

Did you expect otherwise?
You will recall that Harry the Farm cat was a BIG Help to the male person when he was making the repair when the skylight first blew off.

You will recall that he climbed the BIG ladder to check everything out.
Well, he checked everything out again.

He is like that.
He is a very thorough Farm cat.

He said it is a job well done and his work there is done.

Now everyone can enjoy the new view.
Thank you Harry the Farm cat, thank you!

The MONSTER Helped the Male Person Fix the Skylight

You were all right!
We had nothing to be afraid of - the MONSTER was here to help not to hurt.
It was here to help the male person and his friends fix the skylight on the yurt.

The publicist was very happy about this as it had been raining and the repair was leaking all over the inside.
Yuck!

First the MONSTER took the male person and his able assistant up to the roof to remove the repair.

Peak a boo!
I see the male person and his friend!

Then I just saw sky.

Soon pieces of wood were falling hither

and yon!

I was glad by then I was in my goat pen far, far away from all of the falling wood.
I came back in later for further reporting.
This was an all day job!

Then all of the mens loaded up the NEW skylight on the MONSTER so it could go for a ride.
The male person came into the yurt so he could meet it on the inside.
He set up the great big ladder again.

Up, up, UP it climbed.

All of us inside waited and waited.
Where was it?

Hooray!
Here it is!

The male person sprinted up the ladder to help get it all aligned.

It took some time wiggling and adjusting...

...but it was finally where it belonged!
The skylight was fixed!
The publicist is very, very happy.

Now let us hope that it does not happen again!

Farm Cat Friday - InspectorCat Harry

If you will recall, Harry the Farm cat was a big help to the male person when the skylight blew off of the roof of the yurt. Well he is continuing to aid the male person with the whole skylight issue. You will also remember that we goats were very surprised one day when the male person drove into the Farm with this:

We learned that it was the new skylight! He is getting what he needs together along with some friends to help him install it. He needs to wait for good weather which if I hear the publicist correctly will be "sometime in &%^$*&%&$ July" whatever that means.

Harry wanted to make sure that the new skylight was A-OK so he did what any good InspectorCat would do....

He climbed all over it.
I am sure this makes sense to all of you cats out there but it does not make sense to us goats. We would do the goat dance of joy on it to make sure it was good and strong.

The publicist called Harry over to see what he had to meow.

Being a good cat he came right over.

He meowed at her not to worry, that the new skylight was perfect.

He even tried to give her a little pat to reassure her.
Or to whack her for making him leave his inspection.
I am not quite sure.
One never knows with cats.

He did jump down and gave his head rub of approval to the male person's new/old trailer. He traded the old trailer for this one 'cause it will hold more hay. I am most in favor of that!

He also left his paw print of approval on the new skylight.
I am not sure the male person appreciated this.

WHAT is That?

I was standing in my goat pen and the male person drove into the yard.

What did he have in his trailer?!

It even made Louise look.
What could it be?
It was BIG.
Even bigger than Sarah the goat who is due to kid next month.
(Sshhh, don't tell her I maaaaed that.)

I came running to check it out.
Things are a bit slow around this Farm lately and any excitement is welcome.

Oooooh, I know what it is!

IT'S THE NEW SKYLIGHT!
It should be quite the show when he puts it up.
I should start popping the corn now!
