The Catastic Event, Day 5 - Harry the Farm Cat Shows You How a Farm Cat Lounges on a Peach Industries Cat Lounger

I am sure you know by now that I am one cool Farm cat.
Since I am the BEST mousie hunter on the Farm - not to mention gopher hunter - the publicist makes sure that I am TAKEN CARE OF.

As you all know I was the very lucky cat who won the superb Peach Industries cat lounger when Waffles and Katie had a giveaway a while ago. The publicist thought we would share it - and I will admit that I do sometimes let Sherpa lounge - it is MY lounger. I took possession the minute it arrived and it has been mine ever since.

The very nice people at Peach Industries sent me a spiffy new hammock for my lounger so I now have two - that means that when one is in the wash I don't lose any important lounging time! In the past when I was a poor cat with only one hammock I had to wait endlessly for it to be washed and then dried. There was NO LOUNGING during that eternity. The horror!

My new hammock is a stunning deep amethyst color that complements my furs. The weather has been so lovely lately that I ordered requested my slave the publicist to take it outside so that I could enjoy the warm sun. (Do I have the life or WHAT?)

What is so wonderful about this lounger is that if you want to get out of the sun you can simply lie underneath for a bit. There is plenty of room.

The Peach Industries cat loungers are also VERY well constructed. It holds me quite comfortably, it holds Sherpa who is heavier. It holds the BOTH OF US and I'd be willing to bet it would hold a doggie! It was so easy to put together the publicist did it. ALL BY HERSELF. And trust me, she is hopeless when it comes to putting things together. Sometimes she can't even fold a box!

If you go and visit the Peach Industries Website you will find regular cat loungers like mine and the new and exciting mini cat loungers. I keep meowing to the publicist that we need to get another one but she looks at me and says - where in the devil would be put it Harry? There is no floor space. You can share.

Do you believe this? Share? I can't believe she expects me to.....is that a mousie? Gotta run, when I see a mousie I am ON THE JOB!

Farm Cat Friday - Look At What We Got. Look. Look!

We Farm cats are very spoiled.
I admit that.
Look what I got in the mail from the very nice Georgia at Peach Industries

a booooootiful new cover my lounger.
Now the publicist says it will always be available for me to lounge upon.
Previously when she washed the cover there were a couple of hours WHEN I COULD NOT USE IT!

That was not fair.
What if I wanted to lounge?

What was I to do?
A cat should be able to lounge any time he wants.
I think this lovely Amethyst color is just perfect with my black and white furs.

But there is a problem.
Some other cat thinks the lovely Amethyst color is just perfect with his furs.

You guessed it!
Sherpa the Farm cat!

He has taken it over.
He thinks he is some kind of LoungerModelCat.
Hisssssss.

It is MY lounger!

Farm Cat Friday - Harry the Farm Cat Chillaxes

After all of Harry's hard work killing the mousie he really deserved some rest.
And so he took some.

He climbed up on his lounger with his flamingo and napped.
Harry loves his flamingo.

He often sleeps with it.

He gets annoyed if one of the other Farm cats tries to take it from him.
As if they'd DARE!
Would YOU take Harry's flamingo?

I think he looks cute.
Although I suppose he would rather look tough...
...but a guycat just can't look tough hugging a flamingo!

Farm Cat Friday - Harry and Sherpa Chillax Thanks to Katie and Waffles

Harry and Sherpa have a new place to sleep.
NO! Not at another Farm sillies!
They won a Peach Industries Kitty Lounger from Katie and Waffles at Glogirly.com!
They are very excited!

In truth, it's really Harry who rules the lounger - he just lets Sherpa "borrow" it now and again. Mostly when Harry is out eating mousie brains.

I'll let him meow you all about it.
Take it away Harry!

Let me stretch a minute and I'll get to it.
Sheesh! Let a cat wake up.
OK - first off I would like to meow my thanks to Katie and Waffles. I LOVE my new lounger. It is THE BEST. The publicist has stuff all over the yurt for us kitties and I never slept on anything. It drove her crazy! All part of my devious plan of course. But the minute she set up this lounger it was MINE, ALL MINE!

It is so very comfortable. Just the right size for me.

I can even do my cat yoga on it if I want.
Do I not look blissful?

I even brought my favorite toy up on it so I could play and lounge at the same time.

~KITTIES - do not try this unless you are experienced. It is TRICKY!~

Then I napped.

I love napping.

It is true that I sometimes let my brother Sherpa use my lounger when I am not around.

I am a nice brother.

I can share.

The publicist said I even had to let Stinky and Pumpkin have a try too but erm, no comment. I did let Sherpa on MY lounger at the same time I was on my lounger.

For the publicist.

OK.

I think we did our bit.

Right?

Can he go now?

Please?

Srsly.

I really, really, really like my lounger. As you can tell it's very strong. It can hold the both of us. I weigh 8lbs and Sherpa weighs 12lbs and I'm sure it could hold more. The fabric cover can go in the wash to get rid of all of that obnoxious orange fur be cleaned.  The publicist likes it because it's eco-friendly and she really likes the pretty colors. It goes with the yurt. The loungers are also available in other colors. You can see them all HERE.

The lounger came in a really cool burlap bag. 

IT'S HUGE!

It is very useful for carrying things around.

Like books....or Sherpas.
