The Chicks All Right with Pricilla

It is time once again for me to dust off my headshot and actually do my job as SpokesGoat for Happy Goat Soap. I really do enjoy my work - it gets me out of the pen and maaaaaing to my public. I will have to retire for a bit when the kids arrive as they will need my attention for about a month - but then I will be back to work!
Today I would like to remind you of our The Chicks All Right with Pricilla Soap. This is one of our newest shapes. We introduced it to celebrate the fact that we are getting chickens this spring. That's right! There will be little chicks running around the Happy Goats Farm. I have been assured that the name of the Farm is not being changed. I personally would not have stood for that! The chicks are all right with me but I don't want them horning in on my territory. I am sure you can all agree with me.

But back to business. These pretty and delightfully scented soaps would make a great gift for chicken lovers everywhere. Better yet - how about putting one in an Easter basket instead of filling it will all candy. Wouldn't that be a cute idea? I am just such a clever spokesgoat, aren't I?

At the same time we introduced the Chicks soap we brought you The Rooster in the Goat Pen Soap. Now I know we need the roosters to go with the chicks, just like we need our bucks but those roosters better steer clear of me! But you can have your own Rooster soap without having to worry about loose feathers. Could it get any better?

The shop has a whole section with just bird soaps; this also includes our Eagle on the River Soap.

So why not do a very pregnant spokesgoat a favor and pop on into the shop and have a look around? I would appreciate it.

Winning is Fun!

I just love it when I win things. Now for me winning is as simple as not having to spend too much time with Abigail, but for you winning is as wonderful as three bars of Happy Goat Soap. I am sure you recall this post when I told you about the delightful interview my publicist did at the SimplyShiny blog. With the interview we offered a great prize; three bars of Happy Goat Soap and a wooden soap dish! The big drawing happened yesterday and a winner has been chosen.

Drum roll please!

AbbaDabbaBags has won the soap! Hooray! I wonder which soaps she will choose? She has a lovely shop on etsy where you will find lots of pretty bags in many different styles.

At this time I want to give SimplyShiny our Coveted Scratch of the Tail Award for featuring us on her blog and for providing the opportunity for such a cool giveaway. Be sure to check out her blog on a regular basis as she writes about so many interesting topics. Even a goat finds them fascinating. She also makes really pretty jewelry that you will find in her ShinyAdornments shop on etsy. Do you think if I pierced my ears these would look good on me?

Spokesgoat Alert

One of our newest soaps, The I Heart My Goats Soap is listed in a beautiful Treasury created by the very talented Uyen from AsianExpressions She is very talented and if she would only make goat kimonos I would shop like a goat with a $10,000.00 credit limit. But since she doesn't I will have to satisfy myself with just looking at her beautiful products. She also lives in Montana, just like me.

The I Heart My Goats Soap would make a perfect gift for your Valentine! You can see that my publicist/udder massage specialist has taken a new style of photo including an adorable papier mache ME! A truly talented artist by the name of Natalie created this beautiful sculpture. Her work can be found in her shop, Humblebea. She also makes beautiful kid's clothing. Oops, maybe I should say children's clothing....
WOW! Another Treasury listing! HeathensHearth has listed my Sea Urchin Soap in her beautiful curation. In the relaxing lavender scent. There are a beautiful collection of bath and body products in her shop. If I used body frosting I know where I would find it.

Ahhh, Sunday!

I love my Sundays. I don't have any official spokesgoat duties and I just get to relax and enjoy myself. Unfortunately today was not a nice day. I woke up to another new layer of snow. Now my publicist is very nice about getting the snow off of my hay pile, but really! I am getting tired of all this snow. I can't find any little weeds to nibble on or any fresh grass. A goat gets tired of hay, hay, hay and more hay.

But I am not going to be a whining goat. I will share with you a funny story. Yesterday Michael decided he didn't want to stay in his pen. Why yesterday was his day to attempt to escape I have no idea but it was fun to watch. He would run up the side of his fence and LEAP. Well, after about 5 attempts - HE MADE IT! He jumped right out of his pen. Now I did not give him up but shortly thereafter the publicist/udder massage therapist came out and Michael went trotting up to her quite proud of himself. Needless to say, she was not happy....pen adjustments were made.

Starting next week I am going to interview the other goats on the Happy Goats Farm so you can get to know them better. Perhaps I will start with Michael so he can tell you more about his athletic feats.

The Glory of Being a Goat

Now I know that most of you reading this will never know the glory of being a goat and I am sorry for you. My life is just wonderful. My publicist/udder massage therapist takes wonderful care of me and I get to browse in a most scenic corner of the world. My only complaint is Abigail and since I gave birth to her I suppose I am mostly to blame....

But today I am going to discuss Happy things. It is Saturday and I am taking time off from my spokesgoat duties. A doe needs a break now and then, don't you agree? The first topic I want to bring to your attention is a wonderful fundraiser for another worthy species; the bunny! My furry friends from across the pond Arabella and Wesley (you can read all about them here ) are donating a beautifully crafted rabbit bag from their publicist to a wonderful organization - The Buckeye House Rabbit Organization to raise money for abandoned bunnies. A beautiful treasury has been created to showcase bunnies and other cuddly creatures and draw attention to this worthy cause. So why not check out the raffle and the Treasury?

And the MOST EXCITING NEWS since I have become spokesgoat for Happy Goats Soap
a wonderful etsy seller by the name of Lambert curated a Treasury and NAMED IT AFTER ME!!! How exciting is that? I cannot tell you how thrilled I was when I was told. I immediately did my famous goat dance of joy. Sometimes being a spokesgoat is just too much fun. I thank you Lambert and I must say I do like the Two Hens painting. When I next redecorate my goat house I will surely keep you in mind!
