Exciting News!

Sherpa the Farm cat here!
I have very exciting news!
The publicist entered a giveaway to win us Farm cats some very cool shelves from ContempoCat and Hauspanther so we can climb high!

Now she just has to get the male person to install them.

As part of the entry process she had to include a photo of a cat climbing high so guess who was in the picture?

Me of course because I am always UP!

This is the photo she sent in.
I think I look particularly nice.
Don't you?
I am certainly UP.

What the publicist didn't remember is that there was going to be a grand prize. 7 photos were going to be picked out of all of the pictures sent in and these would be voted on to win some great gift certificates to ContempoCat.

Well guess what?
MY PICTURE IS ONE OF THE FINALISTS!.

Out of all those hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of photos MY picture is one of the seven finalists.
I am a very honored cat.

But now I must ask you a favor.
I would love to win the gift certificate so I can get UP more easily.
We are getting older around this Farm and the jumping is getting harder.

I am asking you to VOTE for my photo.
You can vote every 24 hours through August 16th so I will be a pain in your tail and remind you every day until then...

Just click the photo above or HERE to vote. My picture is number 5 under @BrokenTeepee to make it easy to find.

I really do thank you and appreciate your votes.

Just What is Sherpa the Farm Cat Up to Now?

We ask that question a lot around this Farm don't we?
But that Sherpa is always UP to something.
And he is generally UP!

This time he was UP on the walls.
Looking DOWN.
Not to mention looking a bit imperious.

No one knows what goes through his little cat mind.
But he sure does look comfortable up there doesn't he?

What? Did you want something Sherpa?
None of us can reach you up there.
If you want something you have to come done.

Ooooh, you'd rather stay UP, wouldn't you?
That's fine. Enjoy yourself.

You look somewhat golden up there with the sun behind you.
It almost looks like you could go out the skylight and on to the roof.

If you have a minute the publicist would appreciate your reading a post on her blog - it stars all of the Farm cats.

Farm Cat Friday -up, Up, UP, Down!

Hmmmm, what is Sherpa the Farm cat thinking?
I am thinking he is thinking UP!

What do you think?
Or is that too much thinking for one blog post?

Up he flies - 4 1/2 feet!

It does not matter because we are all right!
UP!

But what goes up does not always stay up.

Down he falls 6 feet!

DOWN!
Crash!Bang!
Poor Sherpa the Farm cat!
