Santa Paws Drive is ON!

I have some exciting news.
Santa Paws Drive is ON!
I know I maaaaed to you that it was not on and that the Farm cats were doing the Santa Kitty Toy Hop. Well, they Farm cats are still doing the Santa Kitty Toy Hop but Santa Paws Drive is happening too! But in a different way:

Instead of raising money to send to 6 different shelters they are raising money to rescue kitties! That's right! The Farm cats think this is a brilliant idea. They are all for kitties finding forever homes just like they have.

You can make donations for supplies or to save kitties. Santa Paws drive is happy to welcome any amount you can afford to give. This got the Farm cats thinking. This got the Farm cat conspiring. Conspiring Farm cats can be dangerous.

They sat on the publicist and would not let her type on the computer until she made a donation.
And so she did.
She paid to rescue a kitty.

Sherpa is still sitting on her though.
Hmmmmmm.

I will soon graduate to my very own bandanna like my great grandnanny Pricilla but not until I am READY!

For now I will wear my tie dyed tee shirt when I am on OFFICIAL BUSINESS.
I'm cute, aren't I?
You can get these great shirts for your kitties and doggies too. They are not just for goat kids.

But now I must get down to my work for the day.

The Santa Paws Drive Raffle is open for ticket buying!

It's that time of year again!
Time for all of the happy elves at Santa Paws Drive to start collecting monies and toys for their chosen shelters around the world. This year the six lucky shelters are:

I am most in favor of Santa Paws Drive even though they don't offer any goat gifts. There are goats in shelters too you know.
I will have to maaaaa to the Elves about this.

But anyway - I am giving a very nice prize to the Santa Paws Drive Raffle! I am offering up a year of my rich soap! It's true! I would not lie. I am a good goat. The person who wins my prize will get 4 bars of my soap every other month for a year! They can pick out whatever four bars they would like. They can keep them or they can have me send them to someone as a gift. It is only for winners in the US though because the postage is a bit expensive and I still have to eat.The Raffle will be up later this week so be sure to look for it on the site.

Farm Cat Friday - The Farm Cats Are All For Santa Paws Drive

Sherpa here - I am the SpokesCat for the Farm cats today.

I would like you all to listen to me today about a very important fundraiser for shelter pets. As you can see I have a pretty cushy life. If not for the male person coming and getting me out of the shelter I might be a shelter cat. That is why it is so important for me to help them.

I would like you to listen to me right now. I don't want to have to break out the paw.

Santa Paws Drive raises money and bundles of toys every year so that shelter animals can have a Merry Christmas. You can see we have a widget on the right side of our blog. The group picks 6 shelters every year to receive the benefits; this year two are overseas, one is a shelter impacted by Hurricane Sandy and the others are no kill shelters across the United States. You can read about them HERE.

Isn't that a wonderful fundraiser? Aren't they lucky shelter pets? I'm drooling just thinking about all those toys. 

Soon Santa Paws Drive will have a raffle! Last year the publicist donated to the raffle and she won us Greenies for a Year! That was a great prize. This year Pricilla is donating a prize! 

You can enter to win A Year of Soap! That's right - you will get 4 bars of Pricilla's soap every other month for a year. That's 24 bars of soap! Isn't that a great prize?! The raffle should start on December 1st so be on the lookout on the Santa Paws Drive site. Even a donation of one green paper can help.

I'm tired now. This SpokesCat stuff is hard work. I know I have a great place to live, lots of food to eat and plenty of boxes for play. Not all cats do, though so think about Santa Paws Drive.

Farm Cat Friday - The Farm Cats Come Together To Tell You About Santa Paws Drive

All of us Farm cats have a really good life.

We have boxes.

And baskets.

And catnip toys

And lots of good food to eat.

We get to sleep on nice soft beds.

We are very loved.
We are warm and safe.


There are lots of kitties who have to live in shelters where they don't have their own special publicists and male persons to love them.
That's where Santa Paws Drive comes in.

Every year Santa Paws Drive raises lots of monies and then donates toys to shelters around the world for Christmas so the animals (both kitties and doggies) in shelters will have a happy holiday!

We goats have a friend named Dorian. She writes a blog called Your Daily Cute.
If that were indeed true the blog would be all Abby, all the time but that is neither here nor there. Every year Dorian and some friends get together and open Santa Paws Drive where they raise money and collect toys for shelter animals all around the world.  You can read all about it on SantaPawsDrive.com

These poor animals in the shelter don't have a nice forever home like we Happy Goats and the Farm cats do and all of us think that is sad. We will be sending some money so they can have a happy holiday.

Today I am going to be a philanthropic goat.
It's true! I can be nice.
Stop laughing.

I am going to tell you about Santa Paws Drive. 
It is a wonderful program started by one of my favorite blogs, Your Daily Cute. 
(Although I have never been asked to star on the blog which I think is a grave oversight. I am VERY cute!)


But anyway, today I am going to tell you how you can help shelter animals ALL OVER THE WORLD. That's right! All over the world. You can read all about it HERE but basically Cute has teamed together with Nip And Bones (a very nice shop that sells stuff for animals - but no goat stuff. That should be rectified!) and other wonderful people to raise money and toys and treats for shelter animals. They will then send packages to 6 shelters all around the world.

Still no goats though. Hmmmm.

So you can see how happy these shelter animals are with their presents.

You can learn how to donate by going to Santa Paws Drive. You can choose to give toys, toy bundles for dogs or cats or cash. I asked the publicist to send a little cash. I didn't want to discriminate between dogs or cats.


Aren't I a nice goat?
So why not go and check it out and see if you can help these poor shelter animals. They don't have a nice warm barn like I do. Or a forever home. At least they can have a nice Christmas.
