Farm Cat Friday - InspectorCat Sherpa Goes to Work!

Since we do things the right way here on the Farm, before the male person put the roof and walls on the motorcycle palace he had it inspected. He certainly wouldn't want to keep building if there was a problem!

So he called in the best inspector he knows.

InspectorCat Sherpa was ON THE JOB!
He takes these tasks VERY seriously.

He walked down one side of the building. He made sure it was well built!

He went around and came up the other side.

Uh - oh! Is there a problem?
NO! But it's good that InspectorCat Sherpa gave it a good look-see.

Now to sit and get his thoughts together for his report.
And maybe spot a mousie or two.

OK! That was a job well done but it's time to go on to further adventures.

Down, down, down he goes.
Good job InspectorCat Sherpa!
What would the male person do without you?

Go off and hunt mousie. You deserve a break!
You worked hard!

Farm Cat Friday - Deck Inspections Continue

You will recall that Sherpa the Farm cat is quite the InspectorCat. He has been checking up on the contractor building the new deck on the yurt. Well it appears he has hired an assistantcat.

Who you ask?
Why Pumpkin the Farm cat!
The publicist found this quite amusing as Pumpkin barely stirs himself for anything.
Not even treats!
But there he was....

...out with Sherpa checking out the new deck.

Sherpa was most assuredly in charge of this inspection.
He seemed to be giving Pumpkin orders!
Which Pumpkin studiously ignored.

He went his own way and checked out the edge.
Hmmm, what could be down there?
I have no clue. I just eat the grass around here.

But it must have been pretty interesting because Pumpkin JUMPED!
And had an asthma attack.
Poor Pumpkin.
He has them all the time.

Sherpa soon joined him and they went off to explore the Farm.
Those Farm cats are crazy!

Farm Cat Friday - InspectorCat Sherpa is on the Job!

It's time for another great job by that hard worker - InspectorCat Sherpa!
The male person and the publicist are having a deck put on to the yurt.
I think they are doing this so that I can come up and eat apples in comfort.
Why else would they do it?

Sherpa being Sherpa felt the need to check out the contractor's work.
He is always looking up.

Up, up, up.
That's Sherpa!

When he got up there he did a VERY thorough job of inspecting the work. He walked along the boards to make sure they were sturdy.

He did get a bit sidetracked at one point.
I think Stinky the Farm cat had been in the window just a moment before this photo was taken.

He checked left!

He checked right!

He even made sure that the front door was closed. Clever cat!
I think he can't wait to have a new way into the yurt.

He is one focused InspectorCat!
He soon finished his inspection and decided he had better things to do.

It was time to jump down and look for other things that needed inspecting.

Good job, InspectorCat Sherpa!
Good job indeed!

Farm Cat Friday - Final Inspection

The trailer is leaving this weekend so InspectorCat Sherpa came out to do a final check to make sure it was ready to go. You noted that he did a tire check on the truck and found it was A-OK! What was left?

The "basement" of the trailer of course!
He had to make sure that it was free of any stowaways.

He was VERY thorough!

He checked right...

He checked left....

He checked up....

He checked all around!
Oh noes! He found a stowaway!

Chase it out. Chase it out!

Harry the Farm cat does not want to leave the Farm, does he?
That would NOT be good!

Good job, Sherpa.
Good job!
Now that trailer is ready to roll!

Farm Cat Friday - Calling InspectorCat Sherpa!

The publicist and male person are selling their trailer.
It is happy and sad.
Sad because they had lots and lots of fun times traveling around the country in it and it did bring them here to Montana and to us. Happy because it takes up a LOT of space - space WE could use for grazing.


Before it leaves the male person is checking everything to make sure it is safe.
The publicist is making sure it is clean.
And there is one more VERY IMPORTANT inspector doing his job too:

InspectorCat Sherpa is giving the trailer his Paw of Approval before it leaves.
You can see how determined he is to make sure that all is A-OK with the trailer.

He walked from one end to the other.

And that was a loooooooooong walk!
While he was up there he did take time to enjoy the view.

Or to scout for mice. Who knows....

He checked over.

He checked under.
He was a super InspectorCat!

He knew that he had an important task and he was going to do it well! Even if it involved looking at alien beings.

When he was done he meowed his report.
It's PAWSOME he purred.

It was time for him to get down.
He had worked hard!
