A RAW Tale in Three Parts, Part 3

Today we reach the finale of our story! If you need to catch up you can check out Part 1 and Part 2.

We left Harry the Farm cat receiving some "help" with his mousie.

I am not sure he appreciated the "help."
What do you think?
The kids are always sniffing at Harry.
I don't think they know quite what to make of him
So far they have not butt him.
Which is good for Harry.

But back to our tale.

Harry carried his mousie away from his "help" and sat on it.

But he got more "help."
I think he figured he had better do something or this "help" might take his mousie!
He did not know that they do not eat meat.
He only felt that they threatened his catch.

So....

....bye-bye mousie.
This time he ate the whole thing, not just the brains.
It WAS a small mousie after all.

Now for anyone that might be upset at the mousie eating. There are a LOT of mousies in our barn. Mousies here in Montana carry hantavirus which kills humans. We don't want the publicist or the male person to be deaded because of mousies so we are happy when Harry kills the mousies.

A RAW Tale in Three Parts, Part 2

You will recall that we left Harry the Farm cat patiently seeking mousie in one of the pens in the barn yesterday.

Did he find the mousie?
What do you think?

Of COURSE he did!
Harry is one expert huntercat!

He brought that mousie out of the barn to show it off and to do whatever it is cats do to mousies before they eat brains. (I do not understand this eating of brains, but then again I am a vegan goat.)

Harry put the mousie down.
It being a mousie - it ran away.
I can't say that I blame it!
Harry chased after it and for a minute there I thought he was going to lose his mousie!

The mousie was smart!
It hid behind the barn door.

Harry looked and searched and searched and looked.

SUCCESS!
Well, for Harry. Not for the mousie.

He took it further away this time.
Harry is no dummycat!

He put it down again because we all know that cats need to play with their prey.

Run, mousie, RUN!

Harry and the mousie played at well, cat and mouse.

Until he picked up the mousie and...

...uh-oh!
I don't think Harry was expecting THIS!

Be sure to come back on Monday for the conclusion to the story!

Farm Cat Friday - A RAW Tale in Three Parts, Part 1

You will recall that last week's Farm Cat Friday showed you the Farm Cats eating RAW treats. One of our delightful readers pointed out to the publicist that Harry the Farm cat already HAD a raw diet since he was so very fond of mousie brains.

"DUH!" exclaimed the publicist.

So now I give you a tale in three parts:  Harry and the Mousie.
It gets a bit graphic in places - so if you are squeamish about mousies you might not want to look at all the photos.

"I am FIERCE", meows Harry

Once upon a barn there was a fierce Farm cat.
His name was Harry.
Harry the Farm cat.

He would sit in the barn all day long hunting for mousies.
If anyone disturbed him he would make it known that he was busy.

"Quiet!," meowed Harry. "I'm huntin' mousie!"
He would go from one end of the barn to the other looking for mousie.

He would look high

He would look low

Right!

WAIT! He hears something! Is it a mousie?

He runs into a pen to check.
He is nothing if not thorough!

He will sit and wait until he gets his mousie!
So, did he find what he was looking for?
DID Harry the Farm cat get his mousie?

You will have to come back tomorrow to find out!
Bwamaaaaahahahaha!
