Can You Believe Your Eyes?

Just look at me?!

How can this have happened?!
I am a GIRL goat!
I might have a BEARD but never a mustache.

WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON?!

Even the hens have them?
Is the world going crazy?

NO - it's Mustache Monday!
mustache monday
All thanks to my friend Lin!
Isn't she silly?

She even put a mustache on a chick!
You can learn more and even participate in all of this mustaching if you want by going to Lin's very wonderful blog - Duck and Wheel with String (and Mustache!)

Me, I think I am rocking this mustache look.

What do you think?
Should I keep it?

ps: I just learned we are getting SNOW!
Oh no!

pps:  hopefully you can see my mustache now. The publicist is hopelessly inept with a computer. Stupid publicist!

Meet My Friends Monday - Duck and Wheel with String

It's Monday so you know what that means!
It's time to meet another one of my friends.

Today I would like you to meet Lin, from the blog Duck and Wheel with String.
That is a funny name for a blog, isn't it?
But there is a story behind it!
You can read it HERE.

Lin lives in a town she calls Weirdville. If I didn't know better I would think she lived next door to me! Weird things happen here, that is for sure.

This is the Duck and Wheel family. Lin lives with her husband Joe and her daughter Em. Her son Colin is home for the summer from college. He is working where she works for the summer!
Do you think they will both survive?
You will have to read the blog to find out!

There are also animals!
No goats (drat) just cats.

Hobbes - an orange cat like Sherpa the Farm cat.

And Grace - a very pretty gray cat. Grace is shy.
Hobbes is......fluffy.

You should go and visit Lin at her blog. You will not be disappointed. Just don't steal the duck. Or the wheel. Or the string. It just wouldn't be the same.

I think Lin should come and visit me.
She keeps promising me a tail scratch but she has not delivered.
I do not think this is fair.
I deserve a tail scratch.
Don't you think?

Catstacular Event - Guest Post from Grace at Duck and Wheel with String

Today I would like to welcome a very special cat. A cat that is not often seen or heard; Grace from Duck and Wheel with String. I am telling you all of these beautiful girl cats are driving me crazy. What is the publicist trying to do to me?  I hope you like Grace's story:

While Hobbes gets the majority of the attention over at the Duck and Wheel, I want you to know that is not the case at home. Mom and I are very close and she often whispers in my ear that I am "her girl" - which makes me purr.  I thought my guest post for Pricilla's week off might be a good time to tell you all about me for a change.

Mom had to put her kitty, Molly, down the day I came to live with them - she was sick for along time.  Colin and Emma were very young then, so Mom and Dad planned on giving another kitty a home right away because she didn't want Colin and Emma to be sad for too long.

That day come too quickly and the whole family appeared at the no-kill shelter that I was living at.  It was in a house, so it was pretty nice, but I wanted to be an only kitty and wanted out of there fast. I actually greeted my new family at the door and acted like I was all cuddly and loved kids - but it was an act. I'm sort of an actress, I guess.

Here is my baby picture:

While I'm not big on cuddling OR kids, I do like Mom. She and I nap together and I like to sit by the tub while she takes bubble baths - it is our time together. She and I also talk a lot and I help her when she is on the computer - I sit on the keyboard.

I like Dad and the kids a bit better now, but I still don't like Hobbes. In fact, I don't like any other kitties - I like to be an only cat. I barely tolerate that big orange guy and swat at him every chance I get.  Sometimes, I even chase him when Mom is not looking.

Hobbes is actually second fiddle around the house, although you wouldn't know it by all the attention he gets at our blog.
Sheesh.

I am very glad that Grace found a forever home even if she has to live with Hobbes. Hmmm, I wonder if this means she would not like me, either. Oh, well! You should head over to Duck and Wheel with String for some fun posts and for I Love Hobbes Thurdays. Hobbes kind of looks like me....

Be sure to head over to the publicist's blog where she has a great review of some yummy cat treats from Po's Bag of Bones Bakery.

So Stinky, Tell us What You REALLY Think

I thought this was a very funny photo so I wanted to share it with you. I guess Stinky got tired of being butted!

It's a big day on the Farm! We are getting two new goats today. I don't know their names yet. There is a lady who lives down the road with two girl goats and she does not want them any longer and they are going to join us here at the Farm. The male person is going to pick them up later this after noon. He has to take one of the fire trucks to the town Easter Egg Hunt. To make room for them the boys are now living together in one pen. They are having a good time in there butting heads and eating hay.

The male person spent yesterday cleaning out Luke's old pen and fixing the hole in the fence so the new goats can spend some time in there getting used to the Farm. Then they will join me, Pricilla and little Kevin. I will show you pictures of them tomorrow.

In other exciting news our blogger friend Lin is having a Pay it Forward giveaway on her blog Duck and Wheel with String and she is giving away - as much as I hate to use the word - Pricilla's soap! Isn't that exciting?! Why not go on over and check it out?! You could have a chance to do something wonderful for someone and win a bar of Pricilla's soap plus some other fun stuff. Plus the cat photo at the top of the post is really funny.

As usual I end my post with a lovely photo of ME! Have a Happy Easter everyone!
