Luke the Goat's Strange "Hat"

Yesterday you saw my Luke wearing a very strange hat.
I must admit it does nothing to enhance his studmuffinness.
In fact, I think he looks rather silly.

But I understand why the publicist put it there.
You see, there has been a LOT of this in the buck pen.

A LOT.

Oh don't feel sad for little Brewster.
He instigates most of it.

It's true!
He will go right up to Luke and butt heads and keep butting heads until Luke responds.

It is not all Luke's fault.
The problem lies in the size difference between the two boys.
While Brewster's head no longer gets stuck in Luke's horns his little leg will.

The publicist will suddenly hear Brewster SCREAMING and she will run out and find Luke throwing him around like a rag doll because his leg is stuck between Luke's horns. His leg gets stuck in the part right in the middle almost at the base of his head.

The publicist and male person think it happens when Brewster is doing the goat stomp and Luke brings his head up. They have never seen it happen so they are not completely sure.

They are going to split the buck pen but the male person cannot drive fence poles in the winter.
The publicist thought of tying the baling twine on Luke's horns in the meanwhile.

So far it is working.
In fact Luke has been much calmer since it is has been done.
We are not sure but we think he is embarrassed.

I would be, wouldn't you?

Wow...look at those ferocious goat-stares-of-death! I suppose instead of tying twine around Luke's luscious horns you could tie Brewster's front legs together (just kidding, tee hee).

Actually, from my POV, if you Google images of the Yule Goat you will see something that looks very much like Luke. The Yule goat is made entirely from straw and Luke looks crowned and majestic! ;)

Hahahaha! That's a great solution. Even though Luke does look a bit sheepish.

I dunno. It kinda looks "gangsta" to me. Tell Luke I said that--it may help his ego.

i thought that was why luke was wearing that! it's good to keep brewster safe. brewster will be a tough guy when he grows up. luke looks like he is wearing a turban.

Luke does look a little embarrassed but we sure hope it works. That silly Brewster just asking for trouble. We think the baling twine is a good idea.WE will keep our paws and hooves crossed that it works. Take care.

oh yes the rag doll flinging of the little bucks.. uh huh we have seen that many times here. Sadly in our case um Harrison is just plain intolerant of other bucks. They don't have to start it. sighh

I think that it would have been even better for Luke if you could have used multiple colours of baling twine, to give him a sort of rainbow look. Yes, he would love that. :-)

You fully expect him to break out into goat rapping with that hat. Good to protect the little pest. Would it be okay to say that Brewster gets his goat?!? I miss Kringle... 8-(

Check out my new vlog!

MOL, gangsta Luke! He needs to stop being embarrassed and practice more on his Goat Stare of Death.

Why do boys insist on roughhousing?

We bet that does feel weird for Luke but we're glad little Brewster can't hurt his leg now.

Certainly it is necessary. If I can handle my casts, he can handle some bailing twine. At least his is temporary. Sigh.

He might be embarrassed. If it protects little Brewster, the embarrassment is worth it.

Ok first of all...ouchie! And second of all you tell that brewster to quit playing with someone twice his size! I must say the publicist is quite brilliant!

I find it interesting that I am drawn to blogs about farm animals. I seem to get great pleasure especially from the goats.
And I know you said the little one instigates, but I still wish he wouldn't. He's so cute and tiny!

I think the male person might be embarrassed too if he had to wear an Easter bonnet!
