You read that correctly folks, Luke the goat escaped his pen through a hole in the wire and decided to join us ladies in our doe pen. The nerve of him thinking he could just come in uninvited. It is not the time of year that we look for, uh, male company. In fact the only reason he behaved with any decency at all was because he had already gotten both of us pregnant! But I guess this doe must give him credit for being clever. At first the publicist had thought he jumped over the fence as when she came home the male person had told her he saw Luke in our goat house. It had been raining and he doesn't like his goat house much. But she later saw him sneak through the hole in the wire. He is a clever buck, isn't he?
He toured around our pen and checked to make sure I was feeling OK as he knows the kids are due very soon. I think he is going to be a good daaaady.
The male person fixed the hole in the fence so I don't think we will be having any more unplanned Luke the buck visits in the future. But you never know, he may learn to jump that fence someday....
