When Sarah and Nora came to live with us they brought a present.
Wasn't that nice of them?
Presents are good things.
I like presents.
What did they bring you ask?
They brought us a new hay feeder!
Isn't is spiffy?
It is very sturdy and it holds a lot of hay.
This is good because there are now a lot of goats on the Farm.
But that is not the reason for this post.
Lew's confusion is the reason for this post.
He seems to think the new hay feeder is a toy!
That's right!
He hops in it!

This does give him excellent access to the hay so maybe he is not so silly after all.
He does seem to have some trouble decided what he wants to eat though.

I guess he really doesn't HAVE to choose one or the other so SMORGASBORD!
And as you can see NOTHING stops Abby from eating!
We went into our goat pen this morning and saw an alien!
That's right!
I can tell you don't believe me.
It was an alien with HAY GROWING OUT OF IT'S HEAD!
Now I am all for hay but I am not going to eat an alien's head!

It did not seem to bother Matthew. He went right up and MUNCHED ON IT'S HEAD!
So did Mallory!
Ha! I am kidding you! But I am sure you know that!
The male person's shop vac broke so now we get to use it as a hay feeder.
Which is nice because the chickens won't be dancing in our hay now.
Abby wasn't sure at first.
But she soon started munching away with Matthew.
Mallory really dug in, didn't she?
I think this alien in our midst is a good thing!
