Unlike the presents that Harry the Farm cat brings home this present was still alive.
Harry is a mousie hunter.
Sherpa is a SNAKE hunter.
He has brought home several snakes for the publicist.
It's a good thing she LIKES snakes, isn't it?
It all started when the publicist noticed Sherpa out the window.
She saw him carrying something so she ran out the door and yelled to the male person to take pictures.
She got out there and lo and behold!
A snake!
At least this time it was NOT a rattlesnake.
She did not appreciate the rattlesnake.
She told Sherpa to never bring her one of them again!
This one appears to be an Eastern Racer snake.
It is a constrictor type snake.
She put it in the garden and she is hoping it will constrict the gopher.
I am just glad it is not going to constrict ME!

oh wow....lucky you! my cats used to jump on my bed to bring me dead mice.
Oh, that is a lovely present. And while I'm impressed with Sherpa's gift-giving skills, I'm even MORE impressed with the fact that the Publicist picked it up!! She is VERY brave!
I will hold fuzzy caterpillars, but NOT snakes! EEEK!
Girly there is no way I would be holding that snake! I don't care what kind it is. Whew I am scared silly of snakes! Yikers. But I hope he will get a gopher for you! LOL

mom now is mumbling "ewwwwww" though she does wonder if the snake can make a go at the gopher.... :)
There is no way I would be holding that creature. I wouldn't even want to see it. I can't believe that the publicist is so open to those types of gifts.

My human loves snakes too! Not rattlesnakes, though, or at least not rattlesnakes up close and personal! That is scary that Sherpa caught one of those - I am glad he did not get hurt!

Eww, our Mom does not like snakes. Glad it was an OK snake. Kitties like to kill snakes. We are surprised that it was still alive.

I'd be half way across Canada by now if I saw that snake! I absolutely hate them - it's the slithering, no fur, flickering tongue thing that I can't stand! *shivers*

We all know what happened with the whole mouse thing. Well, I shudder to think what would happen if I gave a live snake to Glogirly!
