The MONSTER Helped the Male Person Fix the Skylight

You were all right!
We had nothing to be afraid of - the MONSTER was here to help not to hurt.
It was here to help the male person and his friends fix the skylight on the yurt.

The publicist was very happy about this as it had been raining and the repair was leaking all over the inside.
Yuck!

First the MONSTER took the male person and his able assistant up to the roof to remove the repair.

Peak a boo!
I see the male person and his friend!

Then I just saw sky.

Soon pieces of wood were falling hither

and yon!

I was glad by then I was in my goat pen far, far away from all of the falling wood.
I came back in later for further reporting.
This was an all day job!

Then all of the mens loaded up the NEW skylight on the MONSTER so it could go for a ride.
The male person came into the yurt so he could meet it on the inside.
He set up the great big ladder again.

Up, up, UP it climbed.

All of us inside waited and waited.
Where was it?

Hooray!
Here it is!

The male person sprinted up the ladder to help get it all aligned.

It took some time wiggling and adjusting...

...but it was finally where it belonged!
The skylight was fixed!
The publicist is very, very happy.

Now let us hope that it does not happen again!

Whew! That was very exciting reporting, Pricilla! You are always in the midst of the action! I think if I was a fainting goat, I would have fainted several times during that whole exciting process. I am glad that the publicist won't get leaked on any more. Damp publicists are unhappy publicists, and that is not good for humans or goats! xox

Hooray! Now there is light again in the yurt!

That sure looks like a big job for those guys. It's a good thing they knew what they were doing. And it was good that they had such good supervisors!

How does the skylight stay in? Or is there something you could do to make sure it doesn't happen again? That would be horrible if it does.

Pricilla, that was such good reporting about the skylight getting installed. You had our Mom laughing out loud. Especially the part about the male person sprinting up the ladder to get the skylight straight. That was all very entertaining. Take care.

All I could think of when reading this post is, "It's a giant SNORT!" Can you tell my son's current favorite book is "Are You My Mother?" :)

@blueeyes - it gets screwed down somehow. The male person says this one has chains to keep it from flying away. We all hope so....

It looks like they did an amazing job. I think I would have hidden in the goat pen for the whole thing.

That is so uber cool. I didn't realize it was a skylight! I missed something along the way. How exciting!

Hooray! But wow, that was quite a production, getting it on there. Did any of the farm cats help? I bet it would have been easier if they had.

What a good monster to help get the skylight fixed for the publicist! We humans like our sunlight as much as you do basking in your sunny spot!
