The First Graze of the Spring

The first grasses are starting to appear. Mmmm, tasty green grasses.
Since the sun was shining the publicist let us out of our pen for the very first graze of the season!
Oh boy, what fun!

Mallory and Matthew headed for the bank to see what they could find.

The grasses are just starting to grow so they are very tender and delicious right now.

I took advantage of them and had a nibble myself.
Mmm, they WERE good!

Abby didn't get too far. She seemed more interested in the sheetrock pile.

My studmuffin was quite upset he didn't get to go out but his time will come.

I was so exhausted after all the grazing I just went back to my pen and lay down.
Grazing is very hard work!

Tomorrow:  Wordless Wednesday

Nom, nom, nom! Nothing like the first shoots of spring grass and weeds! Our horses had their first turnout yesterday and enjoyed it very much.

I'd love to hire those goats this summer.

Stopping by via SITS to say hello.
Have a great day!

my new trick for getting things to unmold is to put a long piece of parchment paper in the pan and let some overlap the long ends. then you can use it like handles to just lift it out of the pan. i think i showed it in the lemon loaf post! i am sure there are a few goats that would happily like the pans for you!

Isn't it nice to see green shoots coming up everywhere?? I'm so excited to see life re-appearing after a long winter.

What a lovely view you have! Laying back soaking up the sunshine in that spot sounds about perfect.

I am so envious of your views. My goats are not grazing yet because the grass is not growing yet. After today, it might start, because it was very warm today. But, 2 of my goats are in the kidding pens in the barn, and are not pleased about this. So, I will not tell them about your grazing, or I might have a mutiny on my hands.
